Waterproof Flutter Vibrator Review
My newest delightfully purple sex toy is the Evolved Novelties Waterproof Flutter from MyPleasure.
The Waterproof Flutter Vibrator is made of soft, slightly squashy TPR, or thermoplastic rubber. TPR is soft, lightweight, pliable, and rubbery, like gummy candy! It is also non-toxic, phthalate and latex free, and hypoallergenic, which makes it a great addition to many people’s toy box. TPR is porous, so don’t share TPR sex toys between partners or mix vaginal and anal play without using a condom. TPR can easily be cleaned with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner, but it cannot be sterilized.
You may have guessed by the name, but the Waterproof Flutter is a waterproof vibrator. It has a a large and secure O-ring around the base of the shaft and performs well in the shower. It continues to work when submerged in water. Just be sure you have the base screwed on tightly and allow the vibrator to dry thoroughly before opening it up to remove the batteries.
As with many of Evolved’s TPR vibrators, you can clearly see the vibrating bullets through the material. The Waterproof Flutter has two, one in the butterfly and one in the tip of the shaft. The gentle vibrations are centered in the area around these two bullets and do not disseminate along the length of the shaft. Both bullets turn on and off together. You cannot operate them separately. The Waterproof Flutter is quite a buzzy vibrator. However, as its vibrations are on the mild side, it doesn’t numb me out so much as not quite get me there. This vibrator would be better for someone with a more sensitive clit or new to rabbit vibes. With it’s flexibility, pretty color, and non-threatening shape, it’s a great beginner vibrator.
The Waterproof Flutter has one push button used to operate its three levels of vibrations. You push the button once to turn the vibrator on its lowest level, then continue pressing it to cycle through the higher levels and to turn off. While I prefer push buttons significantly over twisty controls, this particular push button is very sensitive and I have the tendency to turn the vibrator off at critical moments. I find that somewhat frustrating.
The 2 AAA batteries required by the Waterproof Flutter fit into a clever little battery compartment which slides into the base of the vibrator. You can store the batteries in the battery compartment and quickly slip it the Flutter when ready for play.
I find the noise level of the Waterproof Flutter somewhat surprising. At the lowest level it is very quiet. I can play with it under the covers and not wake my man up. However, the noise cranks up considerably at the medium and high levels. I can hear it outside the bedroom with the door closed. So if you have roommates, they may wonder what you’re power drilling in your room.
I love Evolved’s packaging! Perhaps more than the vibes themselves… Is that possible? I know, I know. There is something wrong with that. The Waterproof Flutter comes in a slim metal box with a hard plastic lid. It’s perfect for storage. Inside the box the vibrator sits comfortably in a plastic cutout to keep it immobile. Sex toys in bondage! The box is quite feminine (yes, to me pink equals feminine) with pink flourishes and “Love is Back” in a script font on the sides. The back of the box has some basic information about the Waterproof Flutter, and inside is a small slip of paper telling me to get product registration and warranty information on Evolved’s website. However, I can find no such info there. Odd.
As a rabbit vibrator, the Waterproof Flutter is meant to stimulate internally and externally at the same time. As everyone’s anatomy is different, the fit of any particular rabbit vibrator can be tricky. The Waterproof Flutter is quite flexible and there is a good amount of space between the butterfly and the shaft. There is also a good 5″ from the tip of the shaft to the base of the butterfly which allows for a fair amount of penetration. It is 8″ long and 1 1/4″ in diameter. It also has a slightly rounded head that manages to brush my g-spot when thrusting.
While I like the bendy, squish of the TPR, it is a dreadful dust magnet. I’m practically afraid to breathe on it. It’s also got a bit of drag so it’s probably best to use lubricant. You can use either silicone or water-based lube with TPR.
Waterproof Flutter Pros:
• Packaging
• Good for thrusting
Waterproof Flutter Cons:
• Noisy
• Mildish vibrations
I like the shape and flexibility of the Waterproof Flutter. I love the packaging. It’s great for thrusting. I can thrust until the cows come home and not bang on my cervix, and the shape works well for me, but I really need another vibrator on my clit to orgasm and with the butterfly in clit position, it gets a little crowded and confused down there. While I won’t kick it out of my toy box just yet, I keep it to the side with the other sex toys I use less frequently.
As I continue my search for the perfect rabbit vibrator, check out the Evolved Waterproof Flutter at MyPleasure! It may just be perfect for you.

Nice review. My first impressions of Evolved were pretty bad, but they’ve stepped up their game a bit.
That is super cute.
The appearance alone makes me like it.
I purchased the Flutter and have used it only a few times and it was great! But it has stopped working out of no where and I don’t know why! (I have tried new batteries and still nothing)
