Reflections Beauty Glass Vibrator Review
Doc Johnson has put out a series of glass vibrators called Reflections and thanks to PinkCherry.com, I’ve been able to take this Beauty for a ride (or five).

The Beauty Vibrator is made of borosilicate glass, more commonly known as Pyrex. Yep, it’s the same stuff used to make baking dishes. This means it’s very strong and stable and can withstand temperature extremes, which makes Beauty great for sensation play. Soak it in a bowl of iced or hot water and the glass will retain the temperature for a good while. Glass is also phthalate and latex free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe, which makes it a great choice for sex toys.
Glass is very versatile and can be used with all types of lubricant. I find I need far less lubricant, if any, with my glass toys. Depending on the toy and how excited I am, often my own lubrication is sufficient.
Aside from being attractive to the eye and silky smooth on the skin, glass is very easy to care for and clean. However, Beauty is not 100% glass. Its base is made of ABS plastic, so take that into account when cleaning. Beauty is also very easy to clean because it is waterproof. I just prefer waterproof sex toys because I don’t have to worry when I wash them, not to mention the bonus of being able to take them into the bath or shower. Though I haven’t taken the Beauty Vibrator in the bath, I have submerged it completely in in the sink and it did just fine.
The Beauty Vibrator is 5 1/2″ long, with 4 1/2″ being insertable, and 1 1/2″ in diameter at its widest point. It is made and packaged in China and takes one AA battery which is not included. Beauty has three speeds controlled by a push button on the bottom of the base, with the number 3 on it. You push the button to turn Beauty on at its lowest speed and push again to cycle through the two higher speeds and to turn off. It is very simple to use. The button is easy to press yet requires enough pressure that I don’t accidentally change speeds or turn it off during play. Beauty’s vibrations are on the light side as opposed to deep and rumbly, and are moderately strong. The vibrations are mid-range between buzzy and deep.
Beauty is a vision in white matte, smoked glass with a wavy ribbed design. I don’t have any other white vibrators and I love the clean, rather innocent look to Beauty’s white glass. It reminds me of white cake frosting and I constantly want to lick it. There is also something about the smoothness of the glass that makes me want to put Beauty in my mouth. I know. I’m weird. Don’t judge me.
With three undulating bumps, Beauty offers a different feeling than the average traditional vibrator, somewhat like a ribbed condom, with three large ribs. These waves are very noticeable as I thrust in and out. I love this kind of sensation, but if you tend to prefer slimline vibrators Beauty may not be a great option for you. On the other hand, Beauty is a good choice to introduce oneself to texture as the waves are noticeable yet smooth.
Due to Beauty’s short insertable length, I can easily thrust as much as I like and not come close to hitting my cervix. This is a good thing as I sometimes get caught up in the heat of the moment and bruise myself, which is very easy to do with glass. While I don’t find Beauty overly girthy, glass has no give and tends to feel bigger than it’s actual size.
Though I have glass dildos and butt plugs, this is my first glass vibrator and I am quite pleased with the experience. Aside from typical benefits of glass, it transfers the vibrations well, up and down the shaft of the vibrator. Beauty is also very quiet even on the highest level. It can’t be heard under the covers even when it’s not inside me, so it quite discreet.
The Reflections Beauty Vibrator comes in an attractive, flexible plastic box. The colors and design are reminiscent of the 70′s, circles, hearts, and swirls. There is some basic information on the packaging and no additional instructions, but none are really needed as the vibrator is self-explanatory. Beauty sits in a shaped plastic tray inside the box. The packaging is simple and sturdy enough for storage, though I would prefer a padded pouch. When using glass sex toys it’s important to store them carefully and check before each use for possible chips or breaks just to be safe.
Reflections Beauty Glass Vibrator Pros:
• Glass
• Quiet
• Pretty
• Easy to use
Reflections Beauty Glass Vibrator Cons:
• Not the deepest vibrations
I like the Beauty Glass Vibrator. It is both a twist on traditional vibrators and typical glass toys, and I do like my sex toys with a twist. It’s very pretty and the glass is smooth and sleek. I love the sensation play I can do with this vibrator. And hey…it’s glass. And it vibrates. How cool is that? However, I’d like the vibrations both deeper and more powerful. Having said that, this little Beauty does get me off. While it’s not the most exciting toy in my collection, it holds its own in the traditional vibrator category.
Check out the Reflections line as well as PinkCherry.com’s great prices and same day shipping on in-stock items and pick up a little Beauty of your own.

I don’t usually love white sex toys but this one is so alluring…with the frosty smooth white and all…I totally agree that it looks delicious, like a tower of frosting! Nomnom. I have the same gripe with other glass toys from DJ too, throw in a padded pouch! Please!
