SPOTLIGHT on Fun Factory Mr. Pink Double-sided Dildo

It’s no secret that I love Fun Factory sex toys and recently they’ve been coming out with new ones. A few weeks ago I wrote about the Fun Factory New Wave and Sonic Double-sided Dildos. This week I’d like to draw your attention to another new double-sided dildo, the Fun Factory Mr. Pink, which can be found at EdenFantasys.

Fun Factory Mr. Pink Doible-sided Dildo

Do you remember the Fun Factory Jim O.? In case you don’t, last year Fun Factory teamed up with a German artist to create an artistic dildo, that was a bit on the unusual looking side. This time they’ve collaborated with New York designer, Karim Rashid, to come up with their latest ArtTOY. The Fun Factory Mr. Pink Dildo reminds me of a sperm or maybe a tadpole, if either one was sheer pink. It’s got a wiggly shape and is a light translucent pink over a darker pink core. Though pink is not my favorite color in a sex toy, I do find this color scheme appealing.

As with all Fun Factory toys, Mr. Pink is made is made of 100% medical grade silicone. Based on my experience with Fun Factory silicone, I’m guessing that it is very lush and very much a lint magnet, but I haven’t yet seen one in real life so I’m not certain. Mr. Pink is of average length at 7.75″ long. As it is a double-sided dildo, you can insert it as far as you want while still being able to keep a grip on it. It has no moving parts so it is waterproof and can be sterilized by boiling it for three to five minutes or washing it with a 10% bleach solution. You can also wash it in the top drawer of your dishwasher without any soap.

Fun Factory makes high quality sex toys and I don’t expect Mr. Pink to be the exception to the rule. I like double-sided dildos as they provide different options within the same toy, and I am very fond of Fun Factory silicone. All in all, this looks like it might be a fun addition to the toy box. Head on over to EdenFantasys and check out the Fun Factory Mr. Pink for yourself. Right now you can get free Standard Shipping on your $35+ order, free Expedited Shipping on your $69+ order, and free 2 Day Shipping on your $79+ order.

Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator Review

It seems like it’s been a while since I reviewed a dual action vibrator so I thought it would be a good time to check one out. Luckily, Lovehoney was kind enough to send me a Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator to review. That’s quite a mouthful, isn’t it? My only experience with Lovehoney thus far has been reviewing bullets, such as the Shag Factory Flower Power Bullet and the Death by Scorpion, so I was curious about trying out a full-size Lovehoney creation.

Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator

Lovehoney is a UK-based online sex toy shop with a U.S. website, as well as manufacturer of some very cool sex toys, so I was excited to try out the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator. You know how you can look at the measurements of something and still be surprised when you actually hold it in your hand? That’s what happened to me with the Oh! Rabbit. It is 10″ long, with 4.5″ being insertable, and 1.75″ in diameter. Now 10″ is obviously sizable, yet I somehow didn’t realize how large it would be until I actually held it. It also feels quite heavy holding it in my hand, not uncomfortably so, just solid.

The shaft and rabbit attachment on this vibrator are made of bright pink silicone, while the base is made of plastic. It’s interesting because this silicone looks a bit more like TPR as it is somewhat sheer. However, it is not the lint magnet that I usually find TPR or typical silicone to be. This silicone is firm and smooth, with a decent amount of drag. As the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator is insertable, I highly recommend using a water-based lubricant when playing. Stay away from silicone-based lubes as these can chemically react with the silicone of the vibrator to make a sticky mess.

This barbie pink silicone is latex and phthatlate-free, body-safe, and hypoallergenic. The Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator is waterproof, which makes it extra easy to clean. The simplest way for me to clean the vibrator is wash it in the sink with antibacterial soap and warm water. Of course, you can also use your favorite sex toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. The bleach solution will allow you to share the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator between non-fluid bonded partners. Do not boil this vibrator as the heat will most likely kill the electrical components.

As you can tell by the name, the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator has a realistic shape. As realistic as a a bright pink vibrator with a rabbit attachment can be, that is. Still, the top of the shaft is shaped like the head of a penis. On the sides and the back, underneath the head, are raised dots. They make a cute little pattern but I don’t feel them when the shaft is inside me. There is also a slight seam along the length of the shaft and rabbit attachment that I do not feel in use. The rabbit attachment is well-formed with its nose and long ears. It even has the suggestion of arms and legs on its sides. It’s not only cute, it’s also well done.

In the middle of the Oh! Rabbit’s shaft is a bulge containing metal beads. I like these beads better than those on some of the other rabbits I’ve tried because they are on a track. This means they can’t move around other than in the way they are intended, which really makes them stable and allows them to move smoothly. The beads can rotate in either direction, which I always find interesting. I’m not really sure that I prefer one direction over the other, but it is kinda fun when they make that shift.

The base of the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator is made of plastic and contains the control panel and battery compartment. The bottom of the battery compartment compartment unscrews so you can access the the little battery holder that slides out. This piece holds the three required AA batteries that are not included with the vibrator. I like the holder because it’s a very easy way to just pop out the batteries and store them. This way I can easily and quickly pop them right back in when I want to use the Oh! Rabbit. Remember, it’s always important to remove the batteries from the vibrator rather than storing it with the batteries inside. This will prolong the life of both your batteries and vibrator. Also, be sure to screw the base of the battery compartment on tightly after putting the batteries in to maintain the watertight seal.

The control panel of the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator is simple to use. It consists of four push buttons that have symbols rather than characters on them. On top there is an up and a down arrow, underneath that is a () button, and below that is a button with a squiggle on it. The up and down arrows turn the shaft rotation on and off, and increase and decrease the power. You just push once on the up arrow to start the rotation and continue to push the up arrow to cycle through the three levels of rotating power. Press on the down arrow to decrease this power and turn the rotation off. The () button reverses the direction of the rotation. I’ve never totally understood why you’d want do this with these rotating vibrators. Are some people lefties and some righties? Anyway, the squiggle button controls the vibrating rabbit. Press to turn the vibrations on and cycle through all vibration modes. To turn the rabbit off, press and hold the squiggle button down for about two seconds. This will also turn the rotations off if they happen to be on.

The Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator has three rotation speeds, three levels of steady vibration, and four pulsation patterns. The rotations are relatively strong but not very wide, which is disappointing. The vibrations are powerful and much quieter than I expected. In fact, I think this is probably the quietest traditional rabbit vibrator I own. Oftentimes this type of vibrator is quite loud, especially one that takes batteries as opposed to a rechargeable.
The vibration modes are as follows:
1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High steady vibration
4. Fast pulse
5. Ramp up
6. Long, slow pulse
7. Three short pulses, one long

The control panel has three LEDs above the arrow buttons and three below the squiggle button. When the rotations are on, the LEDs light up to indicate which level you are on, one for the first level, two for the second, and three for the third. The LEDs below the squiggle button light up in accordance with the vibration levels by flashing slowly on the low steady vibration, quickly on the medium vibration, and staying solidly lit on the high vibration. They also flash in time to whatever pattern you’re using. It’s not necessary or even all that helpful but I still appreciate the detail. One thing to keep in mind about the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator is that it has no memory chip so wherever you turn it off, it will always start on the lowest level of steady vibration and rotation. You also cannot scroll backwards in the vibration patterns, so if you pass the one you want you need to continue scrolling until you get back to it.

I quite like the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator though I’m not a huge fan of typing the name over and over. It’s not the girthiest vibrator ever, but 1.75″ is nothing to scoff at either. It feels nice and filling when I slide it inside me and it is a pleasure to clench down upon the firmness of the silicone. I really don’t tend to thrust with rabbits as I want to keep the attachment firmly locked on my clit rather than moving around. I also like to focus on the internal rotations. The power of these rotations is adequate. In fact, clenching down on the shaft while it’s inside me does not stop it from rotating, which does happen with some rabbits. I really enjoy the vibrations of the rabbit attachment. Unlike many rabbits, which tend to have high-pitched, buzzy vibrations, the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator has fairly deep ones, which I quite like. I also like the power behind those little ears vibrating against my clit. Depending on how I hold the Oh! Rabbit inside of myself, I can either have the nose or the ears pressed up against my clit. If I want to feel the rotating beads inside me, I need to really press the shaft in deeply, so I tend to have the nose on my clit. Leaving the beaded bulge rotating against my labia allows the rabbit ears to vibrate against my clit. I enjoy both ways of using the vibrator. The patterns are pretty great as well, especially number 5, the ramp up.

Lovehoney Oh! Rabbit Vibrator Packaging

Lovehoney Oh! Rabbit Vibrator Packaging

The packaging of the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Vibrator is very simple. It comes in a cardboard box, which is not at all discreet as it not only says “silicone vibrator” on both sides, but there is a big image of the vibrator on the front. The back doesn’t have any images but the use of the word vibrator kills any possibility of discretion. The sides provide some basic info about the toy. Inside, the vibrator sits in a flimsy plastic tray, definitely not something you’d use to store it on its own, but it’s sufficient inside the box. Also, included in the box is a little user manual that provides basic instructions on how to use the Oh! Rabbit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Of course, I didn’t bother reading them until I had already figured out how to use the vibrator, but for those people who need directions these are just fine.

Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator Pros:
• Good shape
• Powerful vibrations
• Quiet
• Easy to use
• Separate controls for rotation and vibration

Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator Cons:
• Shaft rotation could be wider
• Shaft rotations are on the loud side

As I stated above, I like the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Vibrator. Though I am not a huge fan of realistic sex toys, the bright pink silicone keeps the Oh! Rabbit from bothering me. In fact, I like the shape and think what actually bothers me about realistic looking sex toys is color, not shape. Though the rotations do make me a bit sad, they are powerful enough that clenching down on them does not stop them in their tracks, a definite plus. The vibrations of the rabbit attachment are strong and moderately deep and get me off quickly, which is good when I’m in a time crunch. They are also quiet. The control panel is easy to figure out and is very user friendly. The only downside other than the shaft rotation, is that the rotations themselves are a bit noisy, thus keeping this vibrator from being as quiet as the vibrations would allow. Other than those two issues, this is a solid rabbit vibrator so head over to Lovehoney and check out the Lovehoney Realistic Oh! Rabbit Vibrator for yourself.

SPOTLIGHT on Lux LX-3

Every now and then I like to spotlight a male sex toy that either Beanpole Fiddler or I find interesting. This week it’s the new Lux LX-3 prostate massager manufactured by BMS Enterprises.

Lux LX3 Anal Toy

BMS Enterprises has recently come out with a line of products for men that consists of prostate massagers and cock rings. Though Beanpole Fiddler is really not into prostate massage and I obviously don’t have a prostate, I still am often curious about prostate massagers. Something about the shape attracts me. I think it’s partly that I enjoy anal stimulation and figure that I could use some of these prostate massagers just as easily as a man could. Of course, many prostate massagers (or p-spot toys) can be used to stimulate the g-spot as well.

The Lux LX-3 has a shape that I really like. I have not used an anal toy shaped quite like this but it looks like it would be very comfortable. The other thing that really attracts me is the fact that the Lux LX-3 vibrates. I do love a vibrating butt toy, and they’re not terribly common, especially strong ones. The downside of the vibrating aspect of this toy is that the vibration appears to be in the external leg, rather than in the insertable portion. Boo, hiss. Why can’t we have vibrations in both??

A bit on the small side for those who prefer girthy toys, the Lux LX-3 is only 4.5″ in length, with 3.25″ being insertable, and 1″ in diameter. This does make it pretty perfect for beginners to anal play, both of the male and female variety. The Lux LX-3 is made of black silicone, not the most vibrant color in the world, but probably more attractive to men than the bright colors I prefer.

Another thing to love about the Lux LX-3 is that it is rechargeable. It seems like almost every anal toy I’ve seen that vibrates uses small, difficult to find batteries that are not terribly powerful. The fact that the Lux LX-3 is rechargeable makes it much more likely to have stronger vibrations. It is also waterproof, which will make cleaning very easy, something obviously of great importance with a butt toy.

All in all, the Lux LX-3 seems like a sweet little anal vibrator and I wouldn’t mind giving it a test run, even if Beanpole Fiddler does refuse to try it out and report his experiences. You can find the Lux LX-3 at the following stores:

RIANNE S Matryoshka Review

I really am a sucker for different designs and styles in my vibrators and I love ones that stand out. Last year, a new clit vibrator was released that instantly grabbed my attention. Unfortunately, it took me quite a while to get my hands on one. However, thanks to Lucid Obsession, I finally got a RIANNE S Matryoshka.

The RIANNE S Matryoshka is an adorable little vibrator shaped like one of those Russian nesting dolls, or perhaps a squat little bowling pin. It is much smaller than I expected, measuring only 3.5″ tall and 2″ wide at the base. However, this size fits perfectly in the palm of my hand and is very lightweight so this vibrator may be a good choice for someone with pain or strength issues in their hands or arms.

With its deep purple silicone, the Matryoshka is soft and smooth, and surprisingly, not a lint magnet. If you have an assortment of silicone sex toys you know that silicone often attracts every dust mote within five miles. Thankfully, the Matryoshka does not. Its silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. It is also easy to clean, especially as this vibrator has no open ports, making it waterproof. You can do what I generally do, which is wash it with water and antibacterial soap in the sink or use your favorite sex toy cleaner. If you’d like to sterilize your Matryoshka because you want to share it with a non-fluid bonded partner, simply spray or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. Do not boil your Matryoshka or wash it in the dishwasher as it has electronic parts that could be damaged by the heat.

As the silicone of the Matryoshka is so sleek, I do not find it necessary to use much, if any, lube with it. If you find you need or want to use lube, be sure to sure a water-based lubricant rather than silicone-based. The silicone-based lube can react to the silicone of the vibrator and cause it to break down, becoming sticky. For this reason, be sure to store your Matryoshka in its storage bag or charging case to keep it from touching other silicone sex toys.

The RIANNE S Matryoshka is rechargeable and it has one of the coolest chargers I’ve seen. It comes with a round purple case made of shiny plastic with a small gold plate stamped with RIANNE S on the front. The top of this case pops off, allowing you to set the Matryoshka in its base, aligning the charging pins in the base with the metal contacts on the bottom of the vibrator. You plug the charging cord into the back of the base and the wall, and you’re charging. What’s great is that you can put the top of the charging case back on while the Matryoshka is charging so no one need know it’s there. This makes it by far the most discreet rechargeable vibrator I own. The instruction manual advises charging the vibrator for eight hours before its first use, but that after that a two hour recharge should suffice. During charging, the LED will blink, and when the Matryoshka is fully charged, the LED will turn off.

With the two button interface on its front, the Matryoshka is easy to operate. It does come with the travel lock on, so be sure to disengage it by holding down both buttons for five seconds. The LED will blink and the motor will turn on. To turn the travel lock back on, you so the same thing. Press and hold the two buttons down for five seconds. The LED will blink again once, indicating the travel lock is active.

You can use either button to turn the Matryoshka on and off. Simply press either button down to turn the motor on and hold either button down for three seconds to turn the motor off. No matter which button you use to turn it on, the Matryoshka always starts on the lowest intensity of steady vibration. The Matryoshka has five levels of steady vibration and the instruction manual states that it has six different pulsation modes, but I can only discern five. To utilize the steady vibrations, use the bottom button. This scrolls through all five levels of intensity. If you pass the level you want, you will have to continue scrolling until you get back to it. You cannot back up. For the pulsation modes, use the top button. It scrolls through the modes in the same way. Just keep pressing the top button until you reach the desired pattern. The pulsation patterns are as follows:
1. Slow escalation
2. Faster escalation
3. Moderate pulse
4. Fast pulse
5. Escalation to steady vibration to escalation to fast pulse to moderate pulse back to escalation

In use, the Matryoshka has both positives and negatives. I really like the way the soft silicone slides easily against my labia and clit. It feels so smooth and sensual. It also feels silky against my nipples. While some people may enjoy inserting the tip as a tease, it just doesn’t do that much for me. I prefer using the Matryoshka externally where it does its best work. Though the vibrations could be more powerful, they are certainly strong enough to get me off easily, and they’re not terrible for such a small vibrator. In fact, my neck gets sore working on the computer and using the Matryoshka on it does help to relax it a little. The Matryoshka fits well in my hand and is comfortable to hold during use. It is easy to manipulate around my clit and labia, as well as providing pinpoint stimulation for my nipples. The silicone is super sleek and soft and is not a huge lint magnet. I love the discreet charging solution as well.

While I like the RIANNE S Matryoshka, I do find there is a lack of power. It’s likely some people will have trouble getting off with this vibrator, especially if they need Hitachi level vibrations. The other thing about the vibrations is that they’re not terribly rumbly. They aren’t at all buzzy or surfacey though. For me, they are fine. Not bad, not fabulous, just fine.

The packaging of the Matryoshka is some of the lushest I’ve ever seen. First is the standard external shiny cardboard box. It’s not terribly discreet as it does have images of the vibrator on it. Inside, however, is a beautiful purple box with a hinged lid. It’s actually kinda velvety to the touch. On the top of the box RIANNE S is printed in gold. When you open this lovely box, you see “RIANNE S, Excite your lovelife” printed on the inside of the lid. Sitting in a black velvet tray is the Matryoshka and its charging case. Upon removing this tray, you will find the charging cord and three adapters that will allow you to charge your Matryoshka in a number of countries. The only other time I have seen adapters included was with the OhMiBod Freestyle W. These adapters are very cool because rather than have a bunch of big and clunky plugs, they are simply the prong part of the plug. These prongs twist and snap onto the charger easily and securely. I have never seen anything like it. Maybe it’s just been too long since I’ve traveled, but I think it’s pretty damn neato. In addition to the extra charging prongs, there is a silky storage bag with RIANNE S on it, an instruction manual, a shiny product guide, and a warranty card in a cute purple envelope with RIANNE S stamped on it in, you guessed it, gold. It’s clear a lot of time and energy went into putting together this packaging and I really love it. If you remove the black tray, the purple box can easily be used to store other odds and ends, from bullets and chargers to condoms.

RIANNE S Matryoshka Pros:
• Great shape
• Comfortable in hand
• Lightweight
• Quiet
• Good storage options
• Charges discreetly
• Not a lint magnet

RIANNE S Matryoshka Cons:
• Could be stronger
• Not the deepest vibrations

The RIANNE S Matryoshka certainly has its good points. I love the shape, both in use and aesthetically. It’s comfortable and easy to hold and use. It is so lightweight that I can really use it for a long time without my hand or wrist getting tired or crampy, though I have not really had this need. It gets me off quickly enough, but I don’t think the power level is going to meet everyone’s needs. It certainly does not replace the We-Vibe Touch as my go-to clit vibe, even though I prefer the Matryoshka’s silky silicone. For those people who live with roommates or have nosy guests, the discreet charging solution is awesome. If you need intensely strong and deep vibrations, the Matryoshka is not for you, but for a moderate intensity, small clit vibrator, the Matryoshka does a very good job.

Bean Fiddler Rating:

SPOTLIGHT on LELO Noa

I obviously like LELO products as I review a fair amount of them. In the past year they have come out with a number of new Pleasure Objects. I have been lucky enough to review some of them, such as the LELO Tiani, LELO TOR II, LELO Lyla, LELO Tiani 2, and the LELO Smart Wand. LELO has recently introduced a new product, the LELO Noa.

LELO Noa

The LELO Noa is not as new as one might think. In fact, it seems to me that it is basically the LELO Tiani 2 with a few small differences. The shape looks exactly the same to me as the Tiani 2′s new, larger attachment. Both vibrators are wearable, waterproof, made of high quality silicone, and have a variety of vibrational patterns. However, the Tiani 2 utilizes the relatively new LELO SenseMotion technology, while the Noa does not. Both vibrators can operate at the touch of a button or by using a remote control, but whereas the remote control is necessary and included with the LELO Tiani 2, it is optional and sold separately for the Noa.

Both the Tiani 2 and the Noa are rechargeable. What is quite cool about the Noa is that it can be charged via USB. I’m guessing it can also be charged with the AC adapter that comes with the Tiani 2 but I don’t know if one is included in the Noa’s box. I do wonder if the USB charger takes longer to charge the Noa than the AC adapter does to charge the Tiani 2, which is not a huge issue. The other benefit of the Noa is that is less expensive than the Tiani 2.

All in all, the Noa seems like a reasonable option for those couples who are interested in a wearable vibrator and are willing to give up the SenseMotion aspect and the remote control. You can find the LELO Noa at the following stores:
