Last week I wrote about a site for men’s sex toys. So this week I thought it only fair to write about a site for women. ladygasm.com is an online sex toy store that has recently come to my attention. It sells a select group of toys for women, mostly from their own Ladygasm line.

However, recently ladygasm.com began carrying LELO Pleasure Objects, which is something I highly approve of. They don’t carry a ton of LELO toys but they do carry some good ones, like the LELO Siri, which happens to be one of my favorite clit vibrators.

The bulk of their stock is their own Ladygasm line of sex toys. One that really interests me is the Ladygasm Rabbit Vibrator Pump. Rather than rotating or vibrating like all of my other rabbits, the shaft of this vibrator pumps up and down. So cool. I’d like to give that one a try and see if it really mimics penetrative sex. Aside from their regular selection of toys, ladygasm.com also has a Closeout section where they have a handful of items on sale, always one of the first places I hit when I’m shopping.

ladygasm.com offers discreet same day shipping from their New York warehouse. The return address is that of the warehouse, so no need to be concerned about your neighbor seeing the package. Standard shipping is 2-5 days within the United States and 5-10 days internationally. They also offer 2 Day and Overnight shipping withing the U.S. for an additional fee. ladygasm.com has a return policy which allows you to return a product that has broken or stopped working within the first 30 days after purchase. They will even refund your standard shipping fees. There are more details about this Return Policy on the ladygasm.com FAQ page, which you can check out when you head over to ladygasm.com.

SPOTLIGHT on LELO Luna Beads Noir

I know I write about LELO products a lot. In fact, just recently I reviewed the LELO Isla from EdenFantasys. Apart from a one issue I had with the vibrator (granted it was a semi big deal), I really liked it. In fact, I like most of my LELO products. They make such high quality toys. One of their very popular products that I have yet to try is the LELO Luna Beads system. This system is a set kegelcisors or vaginal balls. The Luna Beads come in their original version, the Luna Mini Pleasure Bead System, and now the Luna Beads Noir.

LELO Luna Beads Noir

As you might have guessed from the name, before even looking at the image, the LELO Luna Beads Noir vaginal balls are black. They are based on the original Luna Beads system but there is a big difference. Whereas both the original Luna Beads and the Mini Luna Beads come with two sets of vaginal balls of differing weights, the LELO Luna Beads Noir come with only the one set. The upside of this is that the Luna Beads Noir are less expensive than the original and Mini Bead systems. The downside is that you obviously only have one set of vaginal balls with which to work. Having two sets of vaginal balls allows you to start at a lesser weight and work your way up to the heavier balls as your PVC muscle gets stronger.

Comparing size and weight, it would seem the LELO Luna Beads Noir are designed for women who are slightly more advanced with their kegel work and who find the longer length of the original Luna Beads uncomfortable. The Luna Beads Noir are 3″ in length compared to the original set’s 3 1/2″ length. This may not seem like a big difference but an additional 1/2″ inside you can make all the difference in the world. The Luna Beads Noir are only 1″ in diameter, making them smaller than the original set’s 1 3/8″ diameter and even the Luna Mini Beads’ diameter of 1 1/8″. This will also tend to make them more comfortable for some women who might find larger vaginal balls too big for comfort. What is cool about the Luna Beads Noir is that while they are smaller in diameter and length than the other Luna Beads systems, they weigh the same as the heavier balls from the original system, 1.4 ounces. This means you really have the opportunity to work on your PVC muscle.

The removable vaginal balls of the LELO Luna Beads Noir are made of hard plastic, which is perfect as it is non-porous, while the little black strappy bit that holds the balls in place is made of silicone. They only come in black, but of course you have the option of the original LELO Luna Beads and the Luna Mini Beads if you prefer the white, blue, and pink.

You can buy all three sets of LELO Luna Beads at EdenFantasys and get free shipping, if you spend $35+. So if you have any interest in a strong PVC muscle (and what woman doesn’t?), I suggest you head over to EdenFantasys and check out the new LELO Luna Beads Noir, as well as the other LELO Luna Beads.

LELO Insignia Isla Review

If you follow Bean Fiddler or have checked out My Toy Box, you’ll see that I have a reviewed a fair amount of LELO Pleasure Objects and I generally enjoy them. When EdenFantasys asked if I would be interested in trying out the LELO Insignia Isla I jumped at the chance. I know it’s not one of their newest vibrators, but I love my waterproof sex toys, so when I had the the opportunity to review such a high quality vibrator, I was excited.

LELO Insignia Isla G-Spot Vibrator

LELO is a Swedish company that produces high-end luxury sex toys, or as they call them, Pleasure Objects. The LELO Insignia line is their relatively new line of waterproof vibrators. They are differentiated from the other LELO sex toys by their gold plastic accents, and of course by being waterproof. This allows you to take the Isla into the bath or shower and makes cleaning the vibrator mostly a breeze. As the LELO Insignia Isla is made of silicone and plastic, you have several options for cleaning. LELO recommends warm water and antibacterial soap, which is generally what I use to clean my Isla. You can also use a sex toy cleaner. A 10% bleach solution can be used to sterilize the silicone but I am uncertain as to how it would effect the gold plastic. I am concerned it might damage the finish and therefore haven’t used bleach with mine. I do not share my toys with other people, so I have no real need to sterilize the Isla. Though you can use alcohol on many plastic toys, LELO warns against using it with this vibrator. I do have a major issue with cleaning my LELO Insignia Isla, but I’ll address that in a bit.

The silicone of the Isla is the typical soft and smooth high-quality silicone that I have always found with LELO toys. I love this silicone. It feels so silky against my skin and it does not attract lint and dust, which is impressive for a silicone vibrator. Due to the silicone, it is best to use a water-based lubricant. A silicone-based lube can cause a chemical reaction with the silicone of the Isla and leave it tacky. If you do plan on using a silicone-based lubricant, use a high quality one and do a patch test first.

The LELO Insignia Isla is not an overly large vibrator. It measures 8.5″ in length, with 5.5″ being insertable. It is almost 1.5″ in diameter, which is about average. The shape is slightly different than many of my other vibrators. Rather than being round it is somewhat oblong. I notice the difference when I hold it in my hand but it does not feel any different inside me. There is a slight curve to the shaft of the Isla, making it the g-spot vibrator of the Insignia line. The sleek silicone lays over what I assume is a hard plastic. There is absolutely no give to the LELO Isla, so you will definitely feel that girth inside of you. The Isla has a handle at its base that can be used to manipulate its movements.

While I do like the shape and overall looks of this vibrator, I have an issue with the design. As I have mentioned, the LELO Insignia Isla is made of silicone and plastic. As you can see in the images, the exterior of the vibrator is silicone, with the interior being the gold plastic. There is a tiny seam all along the outside of the gold plastic where it meets the silicone. Now this seam is no big deal when the vibrator is inside me. I don’t feel it at all. However, it makes the Isla a big pain to clean. Lube and bodily fluids love to crawl up inside this seam everywhere they possibly can and I feel like I need a special tool just to clean them out. A good wash in the sink is simply not enough, there is always some residue left in the seam when I am done. I really need a toothpick, fingernail, old toothbrush, something to get into that seam. I would be hesitant to share this vibrator with a partner unless we were fluid-bonded because I do not have confidence the Isla can be sterilized due to this annoying seam.

As with all of LELO’s vibrators and cock rings, the LELO Insignia Isla is rechargeable, which I love. Though it can be nice to have a few vibes around that are ready in a pinch, I would much prefer to charge my vibrators than spend the money and waste resources on going through a ton of batteries. To charge the Isla, you simply plug the AC charger into the port on the back of the vibrator. The LED on the control panel pulses white during charging and glows steadily when the charge is complete. A full charge takes approximately two hours and gives you up to four hours of play time. If the charge is running low, the control panel of the Isla will blink rapidly when you turn the vibrator on. A full charge should give you about 90 days of standby time, though LELO recommends you charge your Isla once per month.

LELO Insignia Isla

LELO Insignia Isla

The control panel on the LELO Insignia Isla is much like the control panels on the remotes of the Insignia Lyla, the Insignia Tiani and the Tiani 2. There are three buttons lined up vertically on the handle, the + button, the () button, and the – button. These buttons have the same function on the Isla as on the rest of LELO’s Insignia line. The + buttons turns the vibrator on and increases the intensity of the vibrations. The – button decreases the vibration intensity and turns the Isla off. The () button cycles through the vibration modes. One great thing about the LELO Isla is that you can increase and decrease the intensity of the vibrations in each mode by using the + and – buttons. It does not have a memory chip so every time you turn it on the Isla starts at the lowest level of steady vibration. As with other LELO vibrators, the Isla has a travel lock. Hold down on the + and – buttons for five seconds to lock and unlock. The LED will flash once to let you know you have been successful.

The LELO Insignia Isla has six different modes of vibration and within these modes, there are variable intensities. They are as follows:
1. Steady vibration
2. Slow pulse
3. Faster pulse
4. Medium, longer pulse
5. Revving up
6. Dance Mix

In use, I think this vibrator does a good job. I find the vibrations to be deep and rumbly, like many of my other LELO vibrators. They are quiet and can certainly be used with someone in the next room, as long as you have a closed door between you. No need for music or TV to muffle the sound. I really enjoy the different vibration modes and tend to use Dance Mix the most. I like the hardness of the shaft which allows me to feel the full girth of the vibrator inside of me. I do like my sex toys with some girth to them so 1.5″ is not large for me. I love the handle as it makes thrusting supper easy and keeps my hand from getting all slippery from lube and other fluids. It is comfortable to hold onto and makes the control panel easily accessible. The vibrations are strong and more than sufficient to get me off. I think many women will feel the same way. At the right angle, the tip of the Isla does hit my g-spot but it really doesn’t shine as a g-spot toy for me. It feels more like a traditional vibrator. I do enjoy thrusting with it and it works great on my clit. I can get off in very little time with the LELO Insignia Isla, which to me is the sign of a good vibrator.

The packaging of the LELO Insignia Isla is the same high quality packaging of other LELO vibrators. The external box is black with an image of the Isla on the front and back. Inside is the traditional black hard storage box with LELO printed on the lid. This box is totally discreet and can be left laying about unless you have little kids or nosy friends who open your stuff without permission. Inside the box, the Isla lays in a bed of black velvet foam, with the signature gold Insignia pin beside it. This pin is included with all the Insignia vibrators and I have yet to figure out what to do with them. I suppose I could wear one around exchanging winks with anyone else silly enough to do the same. Also included in the box is the charger, a black satin storage bag, a sample of LELO’s personal moisturizer (lubricant), a user manual, and the typical LELO one year warranty/10 year quality guarantee. This 10 year quality guarantee is something I have only seen from LELO. If your LELO vibrator dies after the one year warranty is up, LELO will allow you to purchase another toy from their website for 50% off. Pretty cool.

LELO Insignia Isla Pros:
• Strong vibrations
• Quiet
• Waterproof
• Great handle
• Well-placed controls
• Can control the level of intensity in each mode
• High quality silicone

LELO Insignia Isla Cons:
• Seam between plastic and silicone

There are many qualities I love about the LELO Insignia Isla. It is waterproof and rechargeable. The silicone is silky smooth and does not attract lint. The vibrations are powerful and quiet and I like the patterns. The handle makes thrusting and hitting buttons a pleasure. The Isla lives up to the high standards of many of LELO’s vibrators, and more importantly, to my high expectations. It really isn’t a true g-spot vibe for me, but I’m much more clit oriented so I don’t see that as a drawback. The one thing that really bugs me is that seam. It pisses me off every time I wash the Isla. If it wasn’t for that annoying seam I would give the LELO Insignia Isla a rating of 4.5 beans, but I’m knocking off one bean because cleaning this vibe sucks. Nonetheless, I do really like this vibrator and its good qualities totally override the cleaning issues, especially as I don’t share the Isla with anyone else. Therefore, I highly recommend it…if you don’t mind the hassle of cleaning it.

You can find the LELO Insignia Isla at EdenFantasys. I suggest you hurry and head over there because right now the LELO Insignia line is on sale for 20% off! The entire LELO Insignia line doesn’t go on sale terribly often so it’s a good time to pick up one of the vibrators. This sale ends at 2 PM EST on Friday, 11/16/12, so go check it out now!

SPOTLIGHT on Evil Products from PicoBong

I tend to be a fan of LELO high quality toys and I have a handful of them. So, last year when LELO introduced their new brand geared toward young people, PicoBong, I was excited. Then I reviewed the PicoBong Kiki and was terribly disappointed. Earlier this year, PicoBong introduced some additional vibrators to their existing collection, and though I haven’t had a chance yet to review any of them, I have heard good things. Recently, PicoBong brought out another line of sex toys geared toward the BDSM market, or at least toward those who dabble.

There are five products in the PicoBong Evil BDSM line, which is available at EdenFantasys. All are colorful and cute and made from neoprene. The five products are all typically used in BDSM play, but these are lighter, fun versions of them. There are the Resist No Evil Cuffs, Take No Evil Whip,
Speak No Evil Choker, See No Evil Blindfold, and Fear No Evil Tickler. I like that none of these products except the Tickler are animal-based. I wear leather and I like the feel of a strong leather cuff around my wrist, but it’s always nice to have cruelty-free options.

PicoBong Resist No Evil Cuffs

PicoBong Take No Evil Whip

PicoBong Speak No Evil Choker

PicoBong See No Evil Blindfold

PicoBong Fear No Evil Tickler

Neoprene is a strong material and velcro is always nice because it’s easy to use. I have a few set of velcro cuffs that I like quite a bit. They’re not as fancy or as sturdy as cuffs that buckle but they do the job and are usually much more affordable. I do wonder if the Resist No Evil Cuffs, Speak No Evil Choker, and See No Evil Blindfold get hot. If you’ve ever worn a wetsuit you know that neoprene tends to hold in heat. When I wear neoprene directly against my skin it can make me sweat, which is unpleasant, especially during play time. I get sweaty enough as it is, I don’t need a material making me sweat even more, especially on my face and neck.

I expect that the Take No Evil Whip (which is really a flogger) is more about the soft sensation of the neoprene than the feel of the tails as I don’t think neoprene tails would be very harsh or have the ability to cause much pain, at least in this size and amount.

While serious participants in BDSM would likely shy away from these new PicoBong products, I think many beginners or those who like to fantasize or just play lightly will be attracted to these colorful items. If they like the PicoBong vibrators they might want to match them to their BDSM products. These new PicoBong toys come in pink, blue, and black. I prefer the blue but I like my toys to be colorful.

Head over to EdenFantasys and check out the Resist No Evil Cuffs<, Take No Evil Whip,
Speak No Evil Choker, See No Evil Blindfold, and Fear No Evil Tickler.

LELO INA 2 Review

A few weeks ago I reviewed the LELO INA, a vibrator that I had wanted to try for a long time. I was sad to discover that I didn’t like the INA much, mostly because it was significantly lacking in power. I was not the only person to have this complaint and LELO is a company that listens to its customers. Just like with its update of the Tiani 2 and the TOR II, LELO has just released a new version of the INA, the LELO INA 2.

LELO INA 2 Vibrator

For those of you who haven’t read my review of the LELO INA, I will continue with my full review of the LELO INA 2 shortly. First let’s discuss the differences between the two vibrators. There are five differences that I’ve noticed.

1. Power: The is the most important improvement as far as I am concerned because a lack of power is why I didn’t like the INA. The INA 2 reportedly has 100% more power than it’s counterpart. I’m not sure I would say the INA 2 is twice as powerful as the INA but it is significantly more powerful. I find the INA 2 more than sufficient to easily bring me to orgasm. It is no Hitachi Magic Wand but the vibrations are very powerful and should be pleasing to most people.

2. Waterproof: Another important improvement. I really prefer my vibrators to be waterproof even if I don’t take them into the shower and bath much. It makes cleaning them so much easier. I can just toss them in the sink without having to worry about water ruining them. The control panel on the old INA has buttons that are set into the base. There are very small seams around these buttons where water could seep into the electrical bits. On the INA 2, the buttons are set more on top of the base so there is no possibility of water leakage. Though I don’t see a difference between the old silicone charging plug and the new one, LELO has assured me the INA 2 is fully waterproof and can be submerged. I have not taken mine in the bath but can confirm that it does work when fully underwater.

3. Shape: Though I was comfortable with the placement of the clit arm, I think many women felt it fit them too snugly. LELO decided to move the arm further down the shaft and seat it further away from the shaft so it would not pinch down on the clit. As you can see in the images below, the difference between the location of the clit arm on the INA 2 versus the INA is quite noteworthy. The clit arm is also much more flexible on the INA 2 than on the old INA.

4. Sound: This is not an official change that LELO is touting and it may just be that I have a particularly loud INA, but I notice a huge difference in the type and level of sound between the two vibrators. My old INA is quiet on lower settings but the clit arm quite loud on the highest levels of vibration. In addition to being loud, it has an odd sort of buzzing sound that makes it even louder. The INA 2 is much quieter and the buzzing sound is completely absent. I’m not sure if others have experienced this type of difference, but I would be interested in hearing from people on this topic.

5. User Manual: There is a new user manual that is not specific to the LELO INA 2 and has no detailed information about the vibrator. I’m accustomed to very detailed LELO manuals and I dislike that they have been changed. I realize this makes it easier for LELO as they can just toss the same user manual in with all their products but I think it does a disservice to the consumer, especially people who are not sex toy experts and actually need more useful information than the manual provides. It is also confusing because the box says the INA 2 is waterproof but there is a two-sided page stuck in the manual that says not to submerge it. I’ve gotten this same little page before with other LELO manuals and I think including it was a mistake, especially as LELO has heralded the INA 2 as a waterproof vibrator. This new manual is a not a good change.

LELO INA 2

LELO INA 2

LELO INA 2

LELO INA 2

LELO INA 2

Now that I’ve discussed the basic changes in the INA 2, let’s get back on track with a more general review. The INA 2 is LELO’s only dual action vibrator (with the exception of the original INA, of course). That makes it pretty special. I like dual action vibrators because when they fit my body well, they are very satisfying. I really enjoy the dual stimulation. Like all but a few of LELO’s sex toys, the INA 2 is made of silicone and plastic. The handle is plastic, while the buttons, charging port cover, and body of the vibrator are silicone. I love LELO’s silicone. It is extremely soft and silky against my skin and is not at all a lint magnet. Silicone is also latex and phthalate-free and hypoallergenic so it’s a very safe material for sex toys. The downside of silicone sex toys for some people is that you can only use water-based lubricants with them. Silicone-based lubes can interact negatively with the silicone of the toy causing it to break down.

Silicone sex toys have multiple cleaning options and now that the LELO INA 2 is waterproof, it is even easier to clean this vibrator than it is to clean the INA. You can wash the INA 2 with warm water and antibacterial soap, a sex toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. The bleach solution allows you to sterilize the vibrator making it safe to share between non-fluid bonded partners. Do not wash your INA 2 in the dishwasher or boil it as this will most likely destroy the electrical components.

At 8″ in length, with 4.5″ being insertable, the LELO INA 2 is slightly longer and more of it can be inserted than the old INA. Both vibrators are approximately 1.5″ in diameter. This longer length is meant to allow for deeper penetration and it does just that. The clitoral arms are also both the same size at approximately 2.5″ in length. The clit arm of the INA 2 is also about twice as far from the shaft as on the original INA, and twice as flexible. This difference is very noticeable, as you can see from the included images.

As I mentioned previously, the vibrations of the LELO INA 2 are powerful and quiet. Like the INA, they are deep and rumbly, but I can get off much more quickly with the INA 2 because of the higher intensity of the vibrations. Also, I cannot hear the INA 2 through my closed bedroom door while I can hear the INA.

The control panel on the LELO INA 2 is basically the same as that of the INA, other than the buttons being sealed around the edges so water cannot leak in. There are four buttons that form a little cross on the plastic base of the vibrator. There are the + and – buttons and the up and down arrow buttons. Turn on the INA 2 by pressing firmly on the + button. This starts you on the lowest level of steady vibration. To increase the power, keep pressing down on the + button. To decrease the power and turn the vibrator off, press down on the – button. To enter into the pulsation modes, press on the up arrow. To cycle up or down through these modes, use the up and down arrows. One great thing is that you can adjust the power level in each pulsation mode, which gives you a lot of options. Like the original INA, regardless of where you turn the INA 2 off it will always start on the lowest level of steady vibration.

As with the old INA, the LELO INA 2 has eight modes of vibration, which are as follows:
1. Adjustable steady vibration, both clit and internal piece
2. Internal vibration only
3. Clit vibration only
4. Alternating clit and internal vibration
5. Slow pulsing in both
6. Ramping up alternating pulses from low to high
7. Ramping down alternating pulses from high to low
8. Dance Mix

It’s a LELO vibrator, so of course the INA 2 is rechargeable. Unfortunately, the new user manual provides no information about charging time, play time, and standby time. However, I have confirmed with LELO that it is the same as the INA. I charged it for about two hours out of the box so I expect approximately four hours of play time, depending on what intensity I use and for how long, and 90 days of standby time. Charging the two vibrators is the same. You plug the cord into the charging port on the base of the INA 2 and into the wall, et voila, charging. The LEDs under the buttons flash while the INA 2 is charging and glow steadily when the vibrator is fully charged. They will glow red when the INA 2 needs to be recharged.

Just like my other LELO vibrators, the INA 2 has a travel lock. You press and hold the + and – buttons for several seconds. The LED will light up then go dark when the INA 2 is locked. To unlock, press and hold on the + and – buttons for several seconds. When the LED lights up, the INA 2 is unlocked.

I really wanted to like the original LELO INA but I just couldn’t give it a very high rating based on its lack of power. I am very pleased to say the LELO INA 2 is a huge improvement over it’s predecessor and I like it quite a lot. I really enjoy the slightly deeper penetration of the INA 2. It still hits my g-spot while allowing me to feel a bit more full. I thought the clit arm was too far away from the shaft when I first took the INA 2 out of the box, yet it actually fits my body much better than the INA, which did a good job. The space between the clit arm and the shaft, along with the flexibility, allow the clit arm to rub right up against my clit without any need for adjustment or special positioning. Even though it’s flexible, the arm still provides sufficient pressure against my clit, which I really like. The vibrations are still the deep, rumbly vibrations I have come to expect from LELO vibrators, but with a huge increase in power. This increase in power is great and is now where I expected the original INA to be. I still like the patterns and I always love LELO’s silicone. I also really like how much quieter my INA 2 is compared to my INA.

LELO INA 2 Packaging

LELO INA 2 Packaging

LELO INA 2 Packaging

LELO INA 2 Packaging

The packaging of the LELO INA 2 is the same as the for the original LELO INA. The external box in this case is shiny orange cardboard with an image of the INA 2 on one side. The internal black box is the same discreet, sturdy box that says LELO on it. Inside the box, the INA lays in a black velvet cutout. Also included in the box are the charger, satin storage bag, sample of LELO personal moisturizer, user manual, and warranty information. As with all the LELO products I have, the INA 2 comes with a one year warranty and a 10 year quality guarantee. The one year warranty is a standard warranty, but the 10 year quality guarantee is unique. If something goes wrong with your INA 2 after the one year warranty has expired, LELO will allow you to buy another product from their website at a 50% discount. The only difference is that rather than a little booklet explaining this, the INA 2 comes with a plastic authenticity card that allows you to register online or scan the back with your cell phone to register.

LELO INA 2 Pros:
• Powerful
• Better clit arm location and flexibility
• Waterproof
• Quiet
• Not a lint magnet

LELO INA 2 Cons:
• Incomplete user manual

I’m impressed with the LELO INA 2. The vibrations are deep and rumbly, as well as being powerful and quiet. The new shape with the longer shaft and extended clit arm work well for me. I love that the INA 2 is waterproof which makes cleaning much easier. I always love LELO silicone because it is soft and silky and doesn’t attract lint like most silicone. I really cannot stand the new user manual, however. It’s useless, especially for people who actually have questions about the INA 2. If you’re not a sex toy guru, you may need some assistance in figuring out how to use the INA 2, and this manual is not going to be very helpful. Nevertheless, this is a small issue compared to the other significant positive changes made to the INA 2. It is definitely a huge improvement over the previous version. You can check out the new LELO INA 2 on the LELO website.
