Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream Review

I love lotions and moisturizers, especially ones that smell good. So I was excited to have the opportunity to review Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream from Babeland.

Sweet Beauty produces a line of body products that contain 100% natural ingredients obtained responsibly. For example, they use organic fair trade certified chocolate and cocoa butter. These ingredients contain natural glycerides and fatty acids which help soften and protect the skin. Sweet Beauty uses no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, fragrances, or artificial colors in their products and they are made in the U.S., in Seattle, Washington.

One of Sweet Beauty’s main tenants is, “If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t wear it on your skin.” Granted, I am not recommending you eat the Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream but I like this idea. We absorb all sorts of things through our skin, both good and bad. There are enough toxins out there, why not be sure we are absorbing only healthy ingredients through the body products we willingly use?

Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream contains the following ingredients:
Aqua (Distilled Water), Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter) Oil, Theobroma grandiflorum (Cupuacu) butter and Orbignya oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil infused with Theobroma cacao (Organic Fair Trade Cocoa and Nibs), Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Absolute), Emulsifying Wax NF, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Natural Chocolate Flavor Oil, Honeysuckle Extract (Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract, Water), Citric Acid

Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream is a thick and creamy, well, cream that smells lusciously of chocolate. It comes in a plastic jar, in a two ounce or eight ounce size. The packaging is simple and straight-forward and gives an impression of the natural ingredients the Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream contains. The jar is dark brown in color to protect its natural and organic ingredients. Due to these ingredients, Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream has a six month shelf life and needs to be stored in a cool, dark place. So don’t leave it sitting in your car and forget all about it like I do with some of my hand lotions. However, you won’t want to do that with this Body Cream. The chocolatey smell is so strong and delicious and the cream is so luxurious, you’ll want to use it as often as possible.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream smells. I am wearing it right now as I type and with almost every inhale I am practically swooning. The only real downside to this Body Cream is that it makes me hungry. I want chocolate every time I wear it! The scent is truly exquisite.

The rich, lushness of the Body Cream also cannot be overlooked. Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream is so thick and creamy, yet it just melts gently into the skin as I rub it on. It leaves my skin feeling soft, silky, and moisturized. I was actually expecting the Body Cream to be brown in color, but as Sweet Beauty uses no artificial colors, it is a dark cream color that looks very natural.

Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream Pros:
• All natural ingredients
• Thick and creamy
• Smells amazing
• A little goes a long way

Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream Cons:
• I want to eat it!
• It makes me crave chocolate

I am torn between wanting to conserve my Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream and wanting to use it all up immediately. I suppose I will just use it up. After all, it only has a six month shelf life and I can always get more at Babeland. Right now is a great time to stock up on Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream as Babeland has it on sale! So head on over to >Babeland and pick some up for you and the people you love. I know it is a early to think about the holidays, but Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream would make a great Channukah or Christmas gift.

  • Miranda says:

I want chocolate at all times anyway, so I am thinking this would just increase my craving. Not good!
Maybe if my husband wore it though it would be a good idea. Would love for him to smell like chocolate.
The idea reminds me of that movie ‘Micheal’ with John Travolta.

I know, this body cream makes my stomach grumble. Good thinking about your husband! You probably wouldn’t be able to keep your hands of him.
