Hello everyone. First let me introduce myself. If you are a regular reader of Beanfiddler.com then you’ve probably seen Beanfiddler refer to “My Man”. Well, that’s me! I came home a few weeks ago and Beanfiddler had a sly little smile on her face and a told me that she had a surprise for me. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect so I excitedly opened up the box and found that she had gotten me a sex toy of my own. Ever since she started this blog we’ve had a lot of new sex toys to play with but the vast majority of them have been solely for her so I was pretty excited to have one for me.

The toy that I received is called the Succubus and the particular model that I received was the Succubus Bumpy Road (hard). From poking around the Queen Cat Adult Toys website, from which she received this toy, it appears that you can get the Succubus in three different levels of firmness, soft, regular and hard. These levels of firmness refer to the softness of the little nubs that line the interior of the Succubus. I must say that even the hard, which is what I received, is still pretty soft. There are also three other inner textures available. They are 2D-Wavy Ripple, Standard Ripple and Dots.

The Succubus comes packaged in a smallish box measuring around 8″X5″X2″ that is fairly discreet. There is nothing on the outside that screams sex toy but it’s not totally PG either. Upon opening the box’s flip top lid you can see the Succubus itself in a plastic bag and on the lid there are some sparse directions/cautions written in both Japanese and in English. Also in the box is a small sample of lube called “Honey Drops”. I can’t tell you much about this lube as everything apart from the name on the package is written in Japanese. It does have some cute drawings on it though.

Removing the Succubus from it’s plastic bag I took my first look at my new toy. The Succubus itself measures just under six inches long, about two inches wide, and about two and half inches tall. It’s not the biggest thing in the world but as I later discovered, it’s quite stretchy (more on that in a bit). The look of the toy itself is a tiny bit disturbing, I am not sure the most delicate way to say this but it looks more like the vagina of a small girl than that of a grown woman. The material that the Succubus is made of, which is called “Succubus Skin”, is very soft though and very elastic and is quite pleasant to the touch. The material is claimed to be either medical grade or food grade but it is not paraffin oil or paraben free. It is latex free, phthalate free, silicone free and non-toxic though. Although they say it is silicone free they instruct you not to use silicone or oil based lubricants as they could damage the Succubus, so stick to water based lubes.

I was curious as to what the interior looked and felt like so I spread apart the “lips” and peaked inside. The interior of the Succubus Bumpy Road is filled with tons of little round nubs, probably about the size of a pencil eraser but more cone shaped. These bumps are quite close together with probably about a quarter inch between each nub. I could feel each little nub gripping my finger as I slid it in and out and that was enough for me to want to try it out immediately.

To get the Succubus ready for use I decided to warm it up first. You are instructed not to use the microwave, warm water(?), or to heat it up with the Succubus turned inside out. I assumed that they meant boiling water and not warm water so I filled up the bathroom sink with some hot water and let the Succubus soak for about ten minutes. With the Succubus all warmed up I was ready to give it a test drive!

I applied some water based lube to myself and to the toy itself. Sliding my lubed finger inside the toy and rubbing my finger over the vaginal orifice felt quite good although the look of the toy does disturb me bit. I finally laid back and slipped the Succubus on to me. My first though was, mmmmmm this is nice. As I laid back and slowly slid the Succubus up and down I could feel the little nubs caressing me. It sort of felt like the interior was lined with hundreds of little tiny fingers that just wanted to rub and tickle me. I especially like the way that nubs would sort of catch on the head of my penis as I moved it up and down. At first I was confused when I saw that this model was called the “Hard” as using my fingers it seemed excessively soft, but as I used it in its intended manner I could understand the terminology. The nubs are not hard in an unpleasant way at all, probably comparable to a marshmallow or so, but I could definitely see how they could be softer. It’s kind of hard to explain but I think if one were to use the Succubus you’d easily understand. That said I do think I would prefer one of the softer firmness levels. I continued using the Succubus, enjoying every minute of it, until I reached the point of orgasm. Orgasming inside of the toy felt very good, much better than using one’s hand, and as I lay there in post-orgasmic bliss I decided that the Succubus definitely gets a thumbs up.

A quick word about size. While I am by no means an overly large man in the trouser snake department, I am a bit bigger than the toy itself. At first this concerned me but after using it for just a brief bit those fears were quickly relieved as the material of the Succubus is extremely stretchy. Unless you are John Holmes sized, I don’t think you will have a problem with size.

The Succubus isn’t without it’s faults though. I have since used the Succubus many times and here are the problems I have with it. I have tried using it without first warming it up in a hot water bath and while it feels good, heating it up makes the experience much, much better. This of course means that you need some prep time. I’ve found that a good 10-15 minutes of soak time is best so when the mood strikes you can’t just pick it up and go to town. While cleanup is quite easy, you just rinse the Succubs some water and a mild soap, I feel the need to do so shortly after using it. I wouldn’t feel all that comfortable using the Succubus and then going to bed and doing the cleanup in the morning. After cleaning you should also let the Succubus dry out and then sprinkle baby powder on it to avoid it from getting overly sticky. To me, all this is a bit of a hassle and sometimes I just don’t feel like going through all the prep and cleanup.

Overall, I quite enjoy using the Succubus Bumpy Road. The sensations it produces are very pleasurable and I have absolutely no problem getting off with it. I do not like that I sort of have to plan in advance when I am going to use it, and while the cleanup isn’t hard by any means it’s still a bit of a pain. Of course, Bean has also accused me of being lazy on more than one occasion.
