I love Fun Factory, I truly do. I love every Fun Factory product I have. Until now. My perfect record has been marred by my slinky new Fun Factory Bendy Beads.

Fun Factory Bendy Beads are a sleek, black matte silicone that are also available in purple. They are something of a lint magnet so be sure you wash them before and after use…which I know you’re all doing anyway, right??

Of course, I love silicone. It’s my preferred material for sex toys. Fun Factory’s Bendy Beads are phthalate and latex free, hypoallergenic, odorless, tasteless, and body-safe. Silicone is super easy to clean and is even sterilizable. You can use antibacterial soap and warm water, your favorite sex toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution (that’s 9 parts water to 1 part bleach). You can even wash your Fun Factory Bendy Beads in the top drawer of your dishwasher (no soap please!) or boil them in water to sterilize them. Be sure to wash your Bendy Beads carefully as they have little crevices where lubricant and body fluids can congregate.

Remember, Fun Factory Bendy Beads are 100% silicone and can only be used with water-based lubricant. Silicone-based lube can bond with the silicone of the beads and cause them to melt and become tacky. Also make sure you do not allow your silicone toys to touch in storage as the same kind of chemical reaction can occur.

Fun Factory Bendy Beads are almost 10 1/2″ long, with about 7 1/2″ insertable. These anal beads look like a curvy wand that curls back on itself to form a handle with five graduated oval beads set into alternating sides of the curve. Not only does this add to the modern design of the Bendy Beads, it also adds a nice texture to them. The five oval beads slowly increase in circumference from 2 1/2″ to 4 1/2″, which is approximately 3/4″ to 1/5″ in diameter. This makes Bendy Beads on the big side for anal beads. I would definitely recommend them to intermediate and advanced users, and caution beginners to avoid them.

I’m in a bit of a quandary over Bendy Beads. On the one hand, I love how the beads feel slowly going inside me. As I push each bulb in, there is that satisfying “pop” that makes me swoon and moan. As there is a significant difference between the size of each bead and the stalk (so to speak), I can take as much time to relax and enjoy before pushing the next bead in. I am such a tease! I’m definitely an intermediate player, so while I feel each and every inch as it slides inside me, I really start to feel the stretch at the third bead. That’s when I have to slow down and breath more deeply. The fullness of the fourth and fifth beads popping in makes my eyes roll back in my head.

Here we come to the “other hand”. Inserting Bendy Beads is a bit of a challenge. Why? Well, they’re not called Bendy Beads for nothing! It’s a bit like trying to push a rubber band inside me. In order to insert them, I have to hold onto the beads themselves. The handle is really to keep them from slipping inside and for extraction. So I end up getting lube all over my hand my hand which makes it even harder to push the beads inside. Doh! I’ve been playing with these on my own as my Man has been quite busy lately. I think using Bendy Beads during partner play would make insertion much easier.

I do love the handle of my Fun Factory Bendy Beads. It’s great for pulling the Bendy Beads out (I prefer doing this slooooowly), one satisfying pop at a time, and it’s very comfy between my cheeks. I feel very secure knowing it’s not getting sucked inside. That’s the other great thing about these Bendy Beads. Once they’re in, they do not slip out.

While Bendy Beads are made for your bottom, they do a fair job front of house as well. The flexibility keeps Bendy Beads from being a good thrusting toy, but they provide me with a nice full feeling and the beads give me something to clench down on. Bendy’s great texture feels yummy sliding along my lips as well as inside me.

While I love the girth of my Fun Factory Bendy Beads, I find them almost too long for my body. It sorta feels like they’re trying to crawl up my colon. Well not quite, but they’re just too long for me to wear comfortably for any extended period of time.

I really want to love my Fun Factory Bendy Beads, but I just can’t quite do it. I like them, but I don’t love them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the beads themselves. I love the shape, the girth, the material, the look, the texture…almost everything about them. Almost… It comes down to two issues- the flexibility and the length. While I like the flexibility inside me, it makes them harder to insert, and if the Bendy Beads were an inch or two shorter they’d fit perfectly.
