If you follow Bean Fiddler, you know I get excited by new products, and do my best to make you aware of them through Spotlights and Reviews. At the end of last year I discovered a totally new toy, something I hadn’t tried before, and so I wrote a Spotlight on the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator. It has taken me some time to get my hands on one, but thanks to EdenFantasys, I finally have the chance to review a Fun Factory Stronic Ein Pulsator.

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made with completely new technology and is unlike any other sex toy I have experienced. Rather than vibrating like the vibrators I am accustomed to, it pulsates to provide the user with the sensation of thrusting. I have had some rabbit vibrators with rotating shafts that create a sensation similar to that of thrusting, but none of them actually thrusted, which is what the Stronic Eins does very effectively. The technology is really quite astonishing and impressive.

If you’re having trouble picturing how the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator works, this video gives a great visual, along with some additional information. It is actually the “instruction manual” as the Stronic Eins does not come with one, which is odd as Fun Factory products usually do.

As with all the Fun Factory sex toys I own, The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made of 100% medical grade silicone that is particularly plush. Unfortunately, as it is made with the typical Fun Factory silicone, it is also an insane lint magnet. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to keep this thing clean. I literally washed it right before taking the pictures, then stopped and washed it again during because it was still so linty. You can see in the images it’s still not super lint-free, and that was as clean I could get the damn thing. Nevertheless, this silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe.

The fact that the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made of silicone means you’re better off using a water-based lubricant with it, rather than a silicone-based lube. A silicone-based can cause a chemical reaction in the silicone of the Pulsator, causing it to become tacky. The lush Fun Factory silicone has quite a lot of drag to it so you’ll want to use a fair amount of water-based lube for best comfort during insertion and pulsation. Unlike my other Fun Factory sex toys, the Stronic Eins did not come with a sample of Toy Fluid, Fun Factory’s water-based lubricant.

As the Stronic Eins is waterproof, with no open ports, caring for and cleaning it is a snap. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and water or your favorite sex toy cleaner. You can even wipe the silicone shaft down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it so you can share it between non-fluid bonded partners. Do not use the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator for anal penetration as it does not have a flared base.

The solid silicone tip of the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is soft and flexible, while the shaft is a thin layer of silicone over the motor, making it very hard and inflexible. I definitely feel all 1.75″ of girth when the Stronic Eins is inside me. It is 9.25″ long, with 5.5″ being insertable. It has a small bump at the base of the shaft, also made of solid silicone, that is meant to provide stimulation to the clit. This happens more easily for me when I use the Stronic Eins externally. When it’s inside of me, the bump really does not hit my clit.

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator belongs to the Click N Charge family of Fun Factory toys, which means it is rechargeable and uses the same magnetic charger as the vibrators in this line of toys. The charger is included in the box but if you do misplace it, you can use another Fun Factory magnetic charger with it. I’m not sure exactly how long it takes to charge the Stronic Eins because I charged mine overnight and I haven’t been able to run it down yet. A single charge should provide up to three hours of play time, depending upon how frequently you use the higher levels of intensity. During charging all three buttons light up in succession and they turn off when charging is complete. The plug has a red LED that lights when it is plugged into the socket to let you know it is working.

Like most of my Fun Factory vibrators, the Stronic Eins Pulsator has a simple control panel consisting of three buttons, the red FUN button, and the clear + and – buttons. The FUN button turns the Pulsator on and off, while the + and – buttons cycle through the different modes of stimulation. To turn the Stronic Eins on, push and hold FUN for .5 seconds. Push the FUN button once briefly to turn the Pulsator off. The Stronic Eins Pulsator has an easy to use travel lock. To turn the travel lock on, press and hold the FUN and – buttons at the same time for .5 seconds. To unlock, press the FUN and + buttons at the same time for .5 seconds. In general, I find the control panel straightforward to use, except for one thing. Due to the coloring and glare of the shiny plastic, the + and – minus buttons are somewhat difficult to differentiate in daylight. It’s not a major issue considering I’m not actually looking at them during play. Besides, they show up just fine in a darkened room.

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator has 10 modes of pulsation. To be honest, I’m not really sure how to describe them other than to say the Constant and Dynamic Modes feel the same to me. They definitely increase in intensity as you cycle up through mode seven, but it’s not until I hit the Algorithmic Modes that I feel actual patterns. Gallop is definitely well-named as it feels just like a horse’s gallop. Other than that, I think the mode names are random. The modes, as named by Fun Factory, are as follows:

I was so excited to get my Fun Factory Stronic Eins that I wanted to try it out right away, and when I realized it had some charge, I did. I was surprised by the level of power. It seemed somewhat weak to me. I figured it must be because the charge was very low, so I charged it overnight and gave it another try. I discovered my previous experience was not due to a lack of charge. I’m not sure I want to say the Stronic Eins lacks power. To be realistic, this is the first toy of its kind that I have tried, so my expectations may have been overly high and unreachable. After all, the Stronic Eins is not a vibrator. It is a pulsator, and to that end, really doesn’t require the same kind of power. The pulsations are very deep and low in frequency, and the different levels of intensity allows you to control the speed of the thrusting sensation. You can use it externally to stimulate the clit and perineum or internally to stimulate the g-spot and rest of the vagina. It is really quite novel and cool. That is the upside. The downside is that I don’t get off with the Stronic Eins without using a vibrator on my clit. However, this is more about my body than a failing on the part of the Pulsator.

The Stronic Eins Pulsator packaging makes a slight departure from the typical Fun Factory packaging. There is an external sleeve with images of the Stronic Eins and little icons describing some of the features. Inside the sleeve is a box with a lift-up lid. When you open the lid you find a large card with a little pamphlet that is a sort of user manual. It has images telling you about the toy, but not details. It’s better than nothing, but it isn’t much of an explanation. It was unexpected as my other Fun Factory toys came with detailed instructions and information. Underneath this card is the Stronic Eins Pulsator in a partial stretchy plastic sleeve, its charger, and a warning pamphlet which tells you all sorts of things you shouldn’t do with the Pulsator and charger, most of which is common sense, but there are a few good tidbits in there. It seems odd that the Stronic Eins and charger are just sort of tossed in the box and left to flop around, but the box is sturdy enough to use as storage for a while. It won’t last forever and it takes up a lot of room which is why, as usual, I wish Fun Factory would include a storage bag.

After being so excited about trying the Fun Factory Stronic Eins for a while, I was slightly let down that it didn’t get me off on its own. To be realistic though, it does a fantastic job at what it is meant to do, pulsate. It is not a rabbit vibrator, and while it does offer a hint of clit stimulation, that is not its primary function. I test a lot of sex toys that claim to be whisper quiet and only rarely do I run across one that can come close to its claims. The Stronic Eins Pulsator doesn’t actually make any such claims and yet it is shockingly quiet. I suppose that makes sense considering it doesn’t vibrate.

Of course, I love that it is waterproof and rechargeable, and I like the travel lock. I like to use travel locks while storing my toys so they don’t turn on accidentally, which happens with my rechargeable toys with surprising frequency. Even though the + and – buttons are not clearly defined in daylight, they’re totally discernible in the dark. I really like the quick off button rather than the typical hold it for a few seconds off button that is more common. I find it much easier to use and imagine it would be great if you need to turn the Pulsator off quickly for a variety of reasons.

Though there is no strong reason a beginner would not enjoy this toy, I think it better for those more experienced with sex toys. The Stronic Eins provides a very specific sensation not common to other sex toys and I wouldn’t recommend it as a first or only toy, unless you are all about thrusting. Then it night be the one for you. It is also slightly girthy at 1.75″, which may not be ideal for beginners and those who dislike girthy toys.

While the Stronic Eins Pulsator is not the end all be all of sex toys I was hoping it would be, it does what it is meant to very well. For that reason, along with the other positives of this toy, I am giving it high marks. I wrote a Spotlight on the Fleshlight Flight when it first came out last March. I now feel the need to revisit the Fleshlight FlightMD because Fleshlight has just released two new textures, a white case, and what I love most of all, a Semen Collector Cup.

What is a Semen Collector Cup and why does the new white Fleshlight FlightMD require one? A Semen Collector Cup is exactly what it sounds like, a device that attaches to the end of the Fleshlight FlightMD in order to collect ejaculate. Truthfully, I have no good ideas as to why one would want such a thing. It could certainly help with the cleanup after play, allowing you to simply dump the semen down the drain and wash out the Semen Collector Cup rather than having to scrub all that fluid from the nooks and crannies of the internal textured sleeve. Not that you wouldn’t still have to wash the sleeve. Of course you would, but Beanpole Fiddler has complained about it on more than one occasion so I’m thinking this new cup would make it easier. I can also think of some nefarious reasons why one might want to collect another’s semen. Not that I would, mind you, but I’ve read stories. Perhaps because I find semen a sticky, messy substance that eventually needs to be washed away, I don’t see all the wonderful applications for the collecting and keeping of it. I think the real problem is that I hear “Collector Cup” and I think of the things I used to get in Happy Meals as a kid, and it kinda grosses me out when the two come together in my mind.

Anyway, on to the new textures- Navigator and Instructor. The Instructor texture comes in the new white Fleshlight Flight case and is supposed to help improve endurance and stamina. I’m guessing this is because it looks a lot like the STU (Stamina Training Unit), a top selling Fleshlight and Beanpole Fiddler’s favorite. The Navigator texture also comes in the white case and is the version that features the Semen Collector Cup. This newest Fleshlight product is actually called the Fleshlight FlightMD. Apparently, MD stands for “masturbation device”. I, for one, am quite relieved they finally spelled it because I’m sure people have been confusing Fleshlights as Red Bull coolers for years without that explanation. I’m pretty sure that’s what Beanpole Fiddler does with his. *eye roll*

As you can see, there is a significant difference between the original Fleshlight Flight’s Pilot texture and the two new textures, Instructor and Navigator. Fleshlight has come up three options for lovers of the Flight. I really like the white case and you know I want my own Fleshlight FlightMD to put on a shelf, just because every girl needs her very own Semen Collector Cup.

Recently, I was offered the opportunity to review a product from a manufacturer I had not worked with previously, Blush Novelties. It looked like they have a large and interesting product line and I’m always open to trying new toys. I decided to go with the Luxe Rabbit II as I hadn’t reviewed a traditional rabbit for a while.

As I mentioned above, the Blush Novelties Luxe Rabbit II is a traditional rabbit vibrator, meaning it has a shaft that rotates and a rabbit shaped clitoral attachment that vibrates. There are many variations on this theme, some of which I have reviewed, but the rabbit attachment is the most common one.

The Luxe Rabbit II comes in either pink or purple and is made of elastomer and plastic. Elastomer is a soft material used commonly in sex toys, though it is not as common as silicone or TPR. It does feel similar in texture to TPR, as it is very soft and flexible. Elastomer is latex and phthalate-free, which makes it a safe material to use internally. It is significantly more porous than silicone so condoms should be used when sharing amongst non-fluid bonded partners. The packaging says the Luxe Rabbit II is waterproof, but it also says it is not to be submerged in water. As far as I am concerned, that means splash proof, not waterproof. Regardless, you can still wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap or wipe it down with your favorite sex toy cleaner.

One advantage of elastomer is that you can use both water and silicone-based lubricants with it. Elastomer has a ton of drag, so be very liberal in your use of water-based lubricant. When using a silicone-based lube, you can usually get away with far less, as a little goes a long way.

As you can see from the images, the Luxe Rabbit II has a clear elastomer shaft, so you can see through the shaft to the internally rotating beads. You can also see through the rabbit to the purple vibrating bullet. The shaft of the vibrator is ribbed, and while I feel the ribbing quite well in my hand, I don’t really feel it internally. It isn’t pronounced enough. The shaft has a somewhat life-like shape with its pronounced head. Fortunately for me, that is where the life-like similarities end.

The Luxe Rabbit II is 10.2″ in length, with 5″ of that being insertable, and 1.5″ in diameter. The diameter makes it a relatively average sized vibrator, though it may be too thick for some users who might want to look for something a bit thinner. The elastomer covers the the shaft and rabbit portions of the vibrator, while the base with the battery compartment and control panel is made of purple and white plastic.

The base has indentations on each side, providing a much more comfortable grip than something that is completely round. The bottom of the base screws off and you can see the clear o-ring that keeps water from seeping in to the battery compartment. Inside the battery compartment is a battery cartridge that holds the four AAA batteries (not included). I love a battery cartridge because it makes things a lot easier. You simply pop the batteries into the cartridge and slide the cartridge into the compartment.

What I really love about the cartridge is that is makes storing the vibrator without the batteries super easy. You can just leave the batteries in the cartridge and store it alongside the vibrator. Then when you’re ready to play, you just slip the cartridge in and voila, ready to go. No fumbling in the dark trying to figure out which way the batteries go in. Remember, you always want to store your vibrators without the batteries inside as this will shorten the life of the batteries.

The control panel on the Luxe Rabbit II is pretty self-explanatory, which is a good thing as there are no instructions on how to use it. There is an On/Off button, which as you might expect, turns the vibrator functions on and off. When you turn the vibrator on, a red LED to the side lights up. There is a button with number 7 on it that controls the very loud rabbit attachment. Pushing the 7 button scrolls through the rabbit’s seven different modes of vibration. At the first press of the 7 button, the LED turns green. As you continue to press the 7 button, the LED changes with the specific mode.

Then there are the up and down buttons that control the rotation of the shaft. The package says the beads are “multi directional”. I believe they mean that the beads rotate in one direction while the shaft rotates in the opposite direction. Pressing on the Up button increases the speed of the rotation and pressing on the down button decreases the speed. The shaft rotations have three speeds. When the shaft is activated, so are a row of three yellow LEDs that light up in accordance with the speed of the rotations. You can turn the vibrator off at any time by pressing the On/Off button. All of the buttons on the control panel are flush with the base of the vibrator, easy to press, and have good feedback.

As I mentioned, the rabbit attachment has seven different modes of vibration. They are as follows:
1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High steady vibration
4. Increasing pulse pattern
5. Steady long pulses
6. Steady short pulses
7. Three short pulses, one long

In watching the shaft of the Luxe Rabbit II rotate outside of my body, it seems to rotate in a very small circle. I was hoping that would be enough to provide the internal stimulation I expect from this type of rabbit vibrator. I am sad to report than it is not. The vibrations of the rabbit attachment are loud and can certainly be heard through a closed door. The shaft rotations are also loud, though the fact that they are internal does dampen the sound a bit. I do see the loudness of the vibrator as a downside, but I will also say that this has been a common experience for me with traditional rabbit vibrators. On the plus side, the vibrations of the rabbit are more powerful than I expected. Unfortunately, they are on the buzzy side rather than being deep and throbby, which is what I prefer.

In use, I find the Luxe Rabbit II uninspiring. This is due in part to the the fact that the vibrator does not fit my body well. The rabbit attachment is not quite in the right place when I have the shaft inserted, so it hits above my clit, which is not terribly helpful. This is not a design flaw, but rather an incompatibility between the Luxe Rabbit II and my body. However, there are several flaws I find annoying.

First, the rotations of the shaft are not very wide so I don’t feel them internally as much as I had expected and would like. Second, the rotations are not very powerful even at their highest level of power. In fact, I can almost stop the rotations completely by clenching down on the shaft. Third, the vibrations of the rabbit attachment are buzzy. They are moderately strong and have some nice patterns, but even when on my clit, I don’t enjoy the buzziness of them. I was hoping I would feel the rotation of the internal metal beads of the shaft and I don’t, which is also not really a flaw but more of a disappointment. Additionally, the Luxe Rabbit II is loud, which is common amongst rabbit vibrators with rotating shafts, but it just adds to the list of not so great qualities.

The packaging of the Blush Novelties Luxe Rabbit II is not at all discreet nor sturdy. It comes in a clear plastic sleeve that opens on the side. As you can see, the Luxe Rabbit II is completely visible while in its packaging. Inside the plastic sleeve, the vibrator sits in a molded plastic tray. There is some useful information on the back of the packaging regarding the features, care and cleaning, and 30 day warranty. This plastic sleeve and the plastic tray are super flimsy and not at all good for storage. The good thing about this plastic package is that it is not sealed around all the edges so you can get into it without needing a cutting instrument, and it can be easily recycled.

Blush Novelties Luxe Rabbit II Pros:

Blush Novelties Luxe Rabbit II Cons:

For a traditional rabbit vibrator, I quite like the appearance of the Luxe Rabbit II. I find it attractive in color and shape. Though I tend not to like realistic looking sex toys, I like the pronounced head. Of course, it helps that the shaft is clear with purple showing through. The control panel is well laid out and easy to use and I really like how comfortable the grip is with the indented sides. The strength of the rabbit’s vibrations is sufficiently strong but I would like them to be much deeper. I really appreciate that the vibrations do not travel to the base of the vibrator, thus eliminating any buzzy hand syndrome that might have otherwise occurred. I also really like the battery cartridge which makes storing the Luxe Rabbit II easier.

However, I’m a bit miffed by the waterproof but don’t submerge it description. Either it’s waterproof or it isn’t. I’m also not happy with the depth and strength of the shaft rotations. They are not wide enough to create as much sensation as I want and they are not powerful enough to continue rotating when I clench down on the shaft. Overall, I find more things to dislike about this vibrator than to enjoy.

Bean Fiddler Rating:

As I was cruising around EdenFantasys looking at some products I hadn’t seen before, the Nexus Revo 2, a prostate massager, caught my eye. I pointed it out to Beanpole Fiddler, as he has recently been exploring prostate stimulation, but he wasn’t super excited about it.

If you remember, I reviewed the Nexus G-Rider last year and was not terribly fond of it. That has been the extent of my experience with Nexus products thus far but I would totally like to jump back into the Nexus universe by trying out the Revo 2. Still, as I mentioned above, the Nexus Revo 2 is a prostate massager, which means it is an anal toy for men. Of course, a woman could use it either anally or vaginally, but it really is designed for people with a prostate.

At 1.25″ in diameter, the Nexus Revo 2 is not a huge toy. Based on the shape, though, it doesn’t seem like a beginner’s butt plug to me. There are also a number of slimmer anal toys out there so beginners may want to start with one of those before hitting the Revo 2. It’s not hugely different in shape from some of the other prostate massagers I’ve seen. However, it has a very special feature that makes the Revo 2 stand out. The head of the Revo 2 rotates, providing a hands free prostate massage.

Pretty cool, right? Now do you understand why I’d like to try it on myself? While I have a number of vibrators that rotate, I have never had a gyrating butt toy. I find the idea quite exciting and think I would really enjoy that kind of stimulation. Unfortunately, Beanpole Fiddler is not nearly as interested in the Nexus Revo 2 as I am, so I don’t know that we’ll be seeing a review of it in the near future. Of course, that could change if I get my hands on one of these gyrating butt plugs…

The Nexus Revo 2 is water-resistant, which always kind of confuses me, but I take it to mean that you can wash it with soap and water without worrying. I’m not sure why they don’t call it waterproof as it appears there are no open ports. It is also rechargeable, which is great. It comes with a magnetic charger and a universal USB cable so you can charge it from your computer, USB hub, or plug the cable into a USB adapter and charge it off a wall plug. I like to have options and I really like to be able to charge sex toys on my computer.

It has been a very long time since I have reviewed a lubricant. Lubes are not something I review very often but when the opportunity came along to test out a particular lubricant from Sliquid that I had been wondering about, I grabbed it. I have heard good things about Sliquid Sea Lubricant for quite a while and decided it was interesting enough to try out.

Sliquid Sea Lubricant is a water-based lubricant that contains several ingredients meant to provide benefits in addition to the typical perks of lube. We’ll discuss those ingredients in a bit. First let’s talk a look at water-based lubes in general.

Water-based lubricants have several advantages over other types of lubricants. You can use a water-based lube with all sex toys, including silicone, which is a blessing to someone like me who has a large collection of silicone toys. It does not usually stain clothes and sheets and can be cleaned off the body easily with water. On the down side, it is not a good choice to use in water and can dry out more quickly than other options.

The great thing about Sliquid Sea is that it does not seem to dry out terribly quickly and you can reactivate it by applying a little water (or saliva if you’re in a pinch). For a long session, you may have to reapply depending upon how much Sliquid Sea you started off with in the first place. Again, this is common with water-based lubricants so I do not see this as a downfall of Sliquid Sea in particular. In addition, Sliquid Sea dries cleanly, leaving no residue. It does not turn white and does not become sticky or tacky like some lubes. In fact, my skin actually feels soft after the Sliquid Sea dries. It’s not going to replace my lotion or anything like that, but it does leave my skin feeling pleasant.

I detect no discernible scent or taste to Sliquid Sea, which was a nice surprise. I didn’t expect it to smell bad, but I thought it might have an earthy or plant-like scent. It also does not have the bitter taste of some of the other lubricants I have. I’m not a big fan of getting lubricant in my mouth, but it’s nice to know that if it happens it’s not going to be an unpleasant experience.

As a vegetarian, I love that Sliquid Sea is vegan friendly, which means that it contains no animal products or by-products. However, it does include several ingredients that are not a part of a typical lube recipe, and this is one of the things that causes Sliquid Sea to stand out.

Sliquid Sea contains the following ingredients:
Purified Water, Plant Cellulose (from Cotton), Carrageenan, Nori & Wakame (Seaweed Extracts), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

So let’s look at the special ingredients that add the “sea” to Sliquid Sea. First off, there is Carrageenan, which has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of HPV (Human Pappilomavirus) and may offer protection against HSV-2 (Herpes simplex virus). I’m sure all my readers practice safe sex, but still, how could you not want that extra bit of protection in your lubricant? Then we have Nori, a red algae that is a natural moisturizer and prevents oxidation of the skin. Finally, Wakame, which is an edible seaweed with B vitamins that reduces inflammation and improves elasticity of the skin. Considering women often experience micro tears when inserting sex toys or a penis into their bodies, the reduction of the inflammation that follows this tearing is a strong benefit. All in all, these additions provide significant advantages to Sliquid Sea.

I am impressed with Sliquid Sea Lubricant. It lasts longer than I expected it would and dries nicely on my skin. I appreciate that I do not feel the need to shower immediately after play time to wash it off my body. I love that it’s vegan and non-toxic, and does not contain glycerine, parabens, and a host of other chemicals I prefer to avoid. The slick and slippery consistency make it a pleasure to use, and the lack of scent (especially) and taste increase that pleasure. It is basically like notching up my own natural fluids, which is how I want my water-based lube to behave. I don’t really want to know it’s there or be constantly aware of it. Sliquid Sea does its job without making a big deal about its presence, both during and after play. I am extremely pleased with it.

Sliquid Sea comes in a plastic bottle in two sizes, 4.2 ounces and 8.5 ounces. The bottle has a pop top which allows you to easily control the amount of lubricant you want to dispense. The bottle comes with a protective seal which is slightly challenging to peel off if you have nails like mine, but it’s totally doable. There is an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle, which I have not noticed on all of my lubes, and I find very helpful. Though it’s obvious to me that this is a bottle of lube, I don’t think it will be necessarily apparent to someone who is not familiar with the Sliquid brand, unless they looks closely and see “natural intimate lubricant” on the label. Just left on the bathroom sink, someone might think it’s a hair styling product. I think the label is cute and classy, as well as amusing.

Sliquid Sea Lubricant Cons:

While sexual lubricants generally do not make me jump up and down with excitement, they are a necessary and extremely helpful sex play accessory, and it is always important to have a good one on hand. Sliquid Sea has so many positive attributes. Due to its consistency, it feels much like my own lubrication which makes it enjoyable to use. It dries well on my skin, leaving it feeling soft rather than dry and sticky. The lack of scent is a huge plus for me as I am very sensitive and easily distracted by smells.

I am always happy to find high-quality vegan products, and Sliquid Sea manages to avoid using many ingredients common to other lubricants that are not necessarily the best for a woman’s body. I appreciate the addition of the special ingredients that make this Sliquid “Sea”, carrageen, nori, and wakame. They provide protection to the skin and body and can actually assist in preventing the acquisition of HPV and HSV-2. That in itself would be reason enough to use Sliquid Sea, but it has so many other benefits as well. I am actually hard-pressed to find anything I don’t like about it. Therefore, I can easily recommend Sliquid Sea without hesitation.
