For a while now I’ve been doing weekly deals on Mondays. With the introduction of the Daily Deals, the Weekly Deal has begun to feel a bit redundant. I love massage and I’ve wanted to try massage candles for a while, so I was thrilled to try this gorgeous bSwish bWarm Massage Candle in Amber from PinkCherry.

The packaging was much more than I expected for a candle. It’s quite discreet, though some people may wonder why there’s a scantily clad woman on your candle box. The candle is snuggled inside a form fitting plastic cutout inside a hard box for protection so it was in great shape when it arrived. This is important because the bWarm is a very soft candle with a low melting point. I’ve packed up my bWarm Candle for several weekend trips and the box has been perfect for storage.

As soon as I open the box the yummy Amber scent wafts out. The bWarm Amber Massage Candle has a deep, warm, almost sweet, musky scent, slightly heavy and very aromatic. In short, it smells wonderful. This is a great for someone who doesn’t like scents that are traditionally considered “girly”, like me.

I love the concept of a massage candle. First you burn the candle, which adds to the relaxing ambiance. In melted form, the wax becomes a massage balm. You then gently drizzle the melted wax onto the skin. The design of the candle holder works very well. The balm flows smoothly onto the skin via the spout. It feels very much like hot shower water hitting my back and my man agrees. It’s very warm but not uncomfortably so, as the balm melts at a low heat. The heat on my back is a very pleasurable sensation. The balm feels like a lightweight massage oil on my skin, creamy and lovely to use. With ingredients like shea butter, aloe vera, and jojoba oil, the bWarm balm is delightfully moisturizing for my skin. It spreads evenly and adds greatly to the massage experience. The oil soaks easily into the skin and once it absorbs I feel no need to jump into the shower and wash it off. When I don’t shower, the scent lingers deliciously for hours.

The bSwish bWarm Amber Massage Candle comes with instructions in four languages and a 90 day warranty. A warranty. On a candle. How awesome is that? The box says it will burn for 10 hours. I’ve used it several times and that does seems possible.

I am totally hooked. I LOVE this massage candle and so does my man. We’ve enjoyed the entire experience, from the scent, to the soft glow, to giving each other massages. The balm is delightful as a massage oil and it’s reminiscent of wax play without the pain. All in all, every aspect of the bSwish bWarm Massage Candle is a home run for my man and me.
