I was excited to try my first Booty Parlor product, Don’t Stop Massage Oil, from Fascinations. I’ve heard good things about them, their packaging is pretty, and I love massage oil. Win, win, win!

Don’t Stop Massage Oil is soft and silky and feels nice on the skin. It is a lightweight oil that sinks into the skin rather quickly so I find it is best to apply it generously during the massage. As Don’t Stop does absorb nicely, it does not leave my skin feeling sticky or oily, but smooth. I do have other massage lotions and oils that leave me more moisturized, but this does a fair job of leaving my skin feeling soft. However, I would not us it in place of my regular lotion like I do now and then with some of my other products.

Booty Parlor Don’t Stop Massage Oil contains the following ingredients:
PPG 15 stearyl either, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, fragrance (parfum), peg 40 sorbitan peroleate, rosa canina fruit oil, prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernal oil, simmondsia chinesis (jojoba) seed oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, ethyl macadamiate polyisobutane. *May contain Red 33 (CI 17200), Blue 1 (CI 42090)

So why can’t they tell me for sure if the Massage Oil contains Red 33 and Blue 1? I’m just sayin’. Also, some oils can be use as lubricants. However, the box states that Don’t Stop Massage Oil is for external use only, so don’t get carried away and use this for lubricant.

My nose and head happen to be very picky when it comes to fragrance, and while I think many people will enjoy the fragrance of this Booty Parlor Massage Oil, I don’t much care for it. The box says the scent is of plums, raspberries, cedar, and sandalwood. I smell something like an artificial flowery scent that irritates my head a little. I suppose I get a some sandalwood and cedar, but no fruit. I really enjoy fruity scents so I had high hopes for the plums and raspberries, but no joy. Though I am not super fond of the the scent, it is lightweight and not particularly cloying. It lasts throughout the massage and for a good 45 – 60 minutes afterward. The Don’t Stop Massage Oil soaks nicely into the skin and my clothing doesn’t seem to absorb the scent when I’ve gotten dressed after the massage rather than showering. Yep, I’m a dirty, dirty girl.

Booty Parlor goes the extra mile with their packaging. The pink and black box design is adorable and I love the name “Don’t Stop”. The 8.4 fluid ounce bottle is plastic with cute twisty arrow designs on it. Though I’d prefer a glass bottle, it would probably be awfully heavy and if I drop this bottle it will bounce rather than break. The top closes securely and is a pop top like my shampoo. It is very easy to use and ensures the oil goes exactly where I want it without any getting on the bottle and making a mess. My favorite aspect to the Don’t Stop Massage Oil is how well the round design sits in my hand and how easy it is to use. If only I could like the oil as much as I like the bottle.

I want to love Booty Parlor’s Don’t Stop Massage Oil, I really do. The oil is nice enough, I appreciate that it is made in the U.S., and Booty Parlor gets points for their lovely packaging, but I just cannot handle the fragrance in great amounts. Sadness. Now I am rather particular about these things. Those that like flowery scents will likely appreciate this Massage Oil much more than I do.
