PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Review

Almost two years ago, LELO, a manufacturer of luxury sex toys, came out with a new line of toys targeted for a younger audience. This line is called PicoBong, and during the first round of toys they released, I reviewed the PicoBong Kiki. I was so disappointed in the Kiki that I didn’t bother trying any of the other vibrators in the line. Then last year, Picobong released another set of vibrators. I didn’t know whether or not I wanted to review another PicoBong toy due to my experience with the Kiki, which is why I’ve waited until now to review one. Due to my love of rabbit vibrators, I decided to test out the PicoBong Kaya from SexShop365, and I’m glad I did.

PicoBong Kaya

The PicoBong Kaya is not a typical rabbit vibrator in that the shaft does not rotate and the clit stimulator is not in the shape of an animal. It has a sleek silhouette that I find attractive. At 7.75″ in length, with 5″ being insertable, and a diameter of 1″, the Kaya is suitable for many people. It is neither terribly long nor girthy, so it would be a good choice as a first rabbit for someone less experienced with sex toys.

Made of a soft and smooth silicone, the PicoBong Kaya is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. As it is waterproof, cleaning the Kaya is very easy. I just wash it in the sink with warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a sex toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution to disinfect the silicone. Disinfecting the silicone will allow you to use this vibrator with non-fluid bonded partners.

As the PicoBong Kaya is made of silicone, it is important to use a water-based lubricant with it. Silicone-based lubes can react negatively with the silicone of the vibrator and damage the surface. The silicone of the Kaya is a thin layer over a hard internal shaft. There is absolutely no give. The clit stimulator itself also has a hard interior but is flexible at the base. This allows you to press it against or pull it slightly away from your body if you need to do so. You will need to hold it in the position you want it as it is not actually adjustable and won’t remain at a different angle. I would still be gentle with it as you don’t want to damage the internal wiring. One of the great things about the Kaya is the dual motors. Both the shaft and the clit arm vibrate, together, as well as independently of each other.

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator, Charm

The PicoBong Kaya requires the use of two AAA batteries, that are not included with the vibrator. You can get up to two hours of playtime with one set of batteries, depending upon how you use the vibrator. The batteries are easy enough to insert. You just twist the textured, ABS base of the vibrator very slightly and it pops off. There is no unscrewing. Now I may be blind, but I cannot find any indication of which way the batteries need to be inserted. This causes a fair amount of irritation every time I put them in the Kaya because I don’t remember from use to use. However, I do remember to remove the batteries after each use, as you also want to do. For my sanity and yours, this is the correct way to insert the batteries- the battery closest to the clit stimulator is positive side up and the battery furthest away is negative side up. Storing the batteries inside the vibrator can shorten their life and that of the Kaya. While I like that the battery compartment opens easily, I think it’s a bit too easy. I have opened it accidentally more than once while playing with the vibrator, not a great feature.

The control panel of the PicoBong Kaya is a vast improvement over the Kiki’s. Rather than inserting the buttons in the letters imprinted on the side of the vibrator, they are all by themselves on the opposite side. There are also three buttons rather than just two. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, LELO is very good at responding to feedback and adjusting their products as needed. There is a +, -, and M button. These buttons provide good feedback and must be pressed very firmly, so it is unlikely you will change the intensity or pattern by mistake during play. To turn the Kaya on, you press and hold the + button. You can increase the intensity of the vibrations by continuing to press this button. As you may have guessed, you decrease the intensity and turn off the vibrations with the – button. The M cycles through the patterns. I’m guessing “M” is for modes…

PicoBong Kaya Vibration Modes

The image above provides a great visual of the PicoBong Kaya’s seven levels of intensity of steady vibration and 12 different modes. Below is is my description of how they feel to me.

1. Steady vibration in shaft and clit attachment (seven levels of intensity)
2. Steady vibration in shaft only
3. Steady vibration in clit attachment only
4. Slow pulse between shaft and clit attachment
5. Faster pulse between shaft and clit attachment
6. Fastest pulse between shaft and clit attachment
7. Ramp up between shaft and clit attachment
8. Ramp up in shaft and clit attachment
9. Faster version of mode 7
10. Ramp up in shaft with steady vibration in clit attachment
11. Roller coaster between shaft and clit attachment
12. Pattern of pulses between shaft and clit

I really like modes five, six and seven. I think 12 modes is a bit overkill but I’d rather have more than not have any that I like. The downside of having so many patterns is that if you pass the one you want or want to switch to another pattern, you have to scroll through all of them to get back to it. The PicoBong Kaya does not have a memory chip, so it always starts on the lowest level of steady vibration when you turn it on. The vibrations themselves are on the deeper side of the spectrum. They are not the deepest vibrations ever, but they are not at all buzzy. They are also fairly quiet when the Kaya is inside me. You really cannot hear it through heavy covers, so you may be able to use it with your partner sleeping next to you. The vibrations of the PicoBong Kaya are definitely much stronger than those of the Kiki, but they are not as strong as I was expecting. I do generally need to use the vibrator on its highest level of intensity, so it may not be strong enough for everyone. It is not a powerhouse.

Obviously, I was hoping I would like the PicoBong Kaya, but I was surprised by how much I actually ended up liking it. It happens to fit my body very well, which is always the tricky part of a rabbit vibrator. I like the smoothness of the silicone as it slides inside of me. There is very little drag, so it requires much less lubricant than some of my other silicone toys. The hardness of the shaft feels good as I clench down on it, and though I like girthy toys, the lack of thickness does not trouble me with the Kaya for some reason. If I thrust it in a certain way, the curved tip will hit my g-spot. However, it really does not hit my g-spot if I am holding the vibrator inside of me so that the clit attachment lines up with my clit. This is not an issue for me, but it might be for some people. I find it easy to press the buttons to change modes during play, and I am quite fond of some of the patterns. I really do like this vibrator.

The packaging of the PicoBong Kaya is basically the same as the Kiki. It comes in a colored box with a front and side window that matches the color of the vibrator. It is not discreet nor sturdy. The Kaya sits inside a little cardboard indentation that does an ok job of keeping it upright. I do not recommend the box for storage. You’re better off using a ziploc or other sex toy storage bag. Included in the box is the barely there user manual with the most basic of information and the warranty information. The Kaya has a standard one year warranty. Also included in the box is a rubbery charm with the word PicoBong. It looks to me like a zipper pull, but there is actually a notch on the base of the vibrator so you can attach it. I. Don’t. Get. It. Why, PicoBong, why?

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Pros:
• Good shape
• Enjoyable patterns
• Fits my body well
• Easy to reach controls
• Sleek silicone
• Not a lint magnet
• Waterproof

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Cons:
• May not be powerful enough for some
• Many patterns to cycle through
• Battery compartment pops open too easily
• Battery insertion is trial and error

All in all, I am very pleased with my PicoBong Kaya. The vibrations are strong and deep enough to get me off very quickly, and it has some great patterns. I love the smooth silicone and am thrilled that it does not attract lint and dust like many silicone toys. The size, shape, and form suit my body quite well and I find the vibrator easy to use. My only real complaints are the fact that I don’t know how the batteries are meant to go in and how the base of the vibrator pops off a bit too easily. I feel like they could easily fix this problem by adding an extra twist to the base. Still, neither of these are big issues for me. I do acknowledge that the vibrations may not be strong enough for some people but they work for me.

Umm, what is up with the PicoBong charm? It reminds me of the die I received with the PicoBong Kiki. Pointless. I did loop it on the end of the vibrator for kicks but I’m certainly not putting on a zipper or anything like that. I just wish PicoBong would not waste money and resources on these little trifles that do not add anything to the design or function of the toy.

Regardless, this is a solid and simple rabbit vibrator with several good qualities and I think many people will like it. Head over to SexShop365 where you can check out the PicoBong Kaya for yourself.

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator Review

If you follow Bean Fiddler, you know I get excited by new products, and do my best to make you aware of them through Spotlights and Reviews. At the end of last year I discovered a totally new toy, something I hadn’t tried before, and so I wrote a Spotlight on the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator. It has taken me some time to get my hands on one, but thanks to EdenFantasys, I finally have the chance to review a Fun Factory Stronic Ein Pulsator.

Fun Factory Pulsator Stronic Eins Powerful Thrusting Vibrator

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made with completely new technology and is unlike any other sex toy I have experienced. Rather than vibrating like the vibrators I am accustomed to, it pulsates to provide the user with the sensation of thrusting. I have had some rabbit vibrators with rotating shafts that create a sensation similar to that of thrusting, but none of them actually thrusted, which is what the Stronic Eins does very effectively. The technology is really quite astonishing and impressive.

If you’re having trouble picturing how the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator works, this video gives a great visual, along with some additional information. It is actually the “instruction manual” as the Stronic Eins does not come with one, which is odd as Fun Factory products usually do.

As with all the Fun Factory sex toys I own, The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made of 100% medical grade silicone that is particularly plush. Unfortunately, as it is made with the typical Fun Factory silicone, it is also an insane lint magnet. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to keep this thing clean. I literally washed it right before taking the pictures, then stopped and washed it again during because it was still so linty. You can see in the images it’s still not super lint-free, and that was as clean I could get the damn thing. Nevertheless, this silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe.

The fact that the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is made of silicone means you’re better off using a water-based lubricant with it, rather than a silicone-based lube. A silicone-based can cause a chemical reaction in the silicone of the Pulsator, causing it to become tacky. The lush Fun Factory silicone has quite a lot of drag to it so you’ll want to use a fair amount of water-based lube for best comfort during insertion and pulsation. Unlike my other Fun Factory sex toys, the Stronic Eins did not come with a sample of Toy Fluid, Fun Factory’s water-based lubricant.

As the Stronic Eins is waterproof, with no open ports, caring for and cleaning it is a snap. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and water or your favorite sex toy cleaner. You can even wipe the silicone shaft down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it so you can share it between non-fluid bonded partners. Do not use the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator for anal penetration as it does not have a flared base.

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator, Rear Ridge

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator, Plug

The solid silicone tip of the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator is soft and flexible, while the shaft is a thin layer of silicone over the motor, making it very hard and inflexible. I definitely feel all 1.75″ of girth when the Stronic Eins is inside me. It is 9.25″ long, with 5.5″ being insertable. It has a small bump at the base of the shaft, also made of solid silicone, that is meant to provide stimulation to the clit. This happens more easily for me when I use the Stronic Eins externally. When it’s inside of me, the bump really does not hit my clit.

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator belongs to the Click N Charge family of Fun Factory toys, which means it is rechargeable and uses the same magnetic charger as the vibrators in this line of toys. The charger is included in the box but if you do misplace it, you can use another Fun Factory magnetic charger with it. I’m not sure exactly how long it takes to charge the Stronic Eins because I charged mine overnight and I haven’t been able to run it down yet. A single charge should provide up to three hours of play time, depending upon how frequently you use the higher levels of intensity. During charging all three buttons light up in succession and they turn off when charging is complete. The plug has a red LED that lights when it is plugged into the socket to let you know it is working.

Like most of my Fun Factory vibrators, the Stronic Eins Pulsator has a simple control panel consisting of three buttons, the red FUN button, and the clear + and – buttons. The FUN button turns the Pulsator on and off, while the + and – buttons cycle through the different modes of stimulation. To turn the Stronic Eins on, push and hold FUN for .5 seconds. Push the FUN button once briefly to turn the Pulsator off. The Stronic Eins Pulsator has an easy to use travel lock. To turn the travel lock on, press and hold the FUN and – buttons at the same time for .5 seconds. To unlock, press the FUN and + buttons at the same time for .5 seconds. In general, I find the control panel straightforward to use, except for one thing. Due to the coloring and glare of the shiny plastic, the + and – minus buttons are somewhat difficult to differentiate in daylight. It’s not a major issue considering I’m not actually looking at them during play. Besides, they show up just fine in a darkened room.

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator, Magnetic Charger

The Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator has 10 modes of pulsation. To be honest, I’m not really sure how to describe them other than to say the Constant and Dynamic Modes feel the same to me. They definitely increase in intensity as you cycle up through mode seven, but it’s not until I hit the Algorithmic Modes that I feel actual patterns. Gallop is definitely well-named as it feels just like a horse’s gallop. Other than that, I think the mode names are random. The modes, as named by Fun Factory, are as follows:
1. (Constant Mode) Quirky
2. (Constant Mode) Samba
3. (Constant Mode) Rumble
4. (Constant Mode) Samba
5. (Dynamic Mode) Rollerball
6. (Dynamic Mode) Rumba
7. (Dynamic Mode) Vienna Waltz
8. (Algorithmic Mode) Rattle
9. (Algorithmic Mode) Gallop
10. (Algorithmic Mode) Dirty Dancing

I was so excited to get my Fun Factory Stronic Eins that I wanted to try it out right away, and when I realized it had some charge, I did. I was surprised by the level of power. It seemed somewhat weak to me. I figured it must be because the charge was very low, so I charged it overnight and gave it another try. I discovered my previous experience was not due to a lack of charge. I’m not sure I want to say the Stronic Eins lacks power. To be realistic, this is the first toy of its kind that I have tried, so my expectations may have been overly high and unreachable. After all, the Stronic Eins is not a vibrator. It is a pulsator, and to that end, really doesn’t require the same kind of power. The pulsations are very deep and low in frequency, and the different levels of intensity allows you to control the speed of the thrusting sensation. You can use it externally to stimulate the clit and perineum or internally to stimulate the g-spot and rest of the vagina. It is really quite novel and cool. That is the upside. The downside is that I don’t get off with the Stronic Eins without using a vibrator on my clit. However, this is more about my body than a failing on the part of the Pulsator.

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator Packaging, Internal Box

The Stronic Eins Pulsator packaging makes a slight departure from the typical Fun Factory packaging. There is an external sleeve with images of the Stronic Eins and little icons describing some of the features. Inside the sleeve is a box with a lift-up lid. When you open the lid you find a large card with a little pamphlet that is a sort of user manual. It has images telling you about the toy, but not details. It’s better than nothing, but it isn’t much of an explanation. It was unexpected as my other Fun Factory toys came with detailed instructions and information. Underneath this card is the Stronic Eins Pulsator in a partial stretchy plastic sleeve, its charger, and a warning pamphlet which tells you all sorts of things you shouldn’t do with the Pulsator and charger, most of which is common sense, but there are a few good tidbits in there. It seems odd that the Stronic Eins and charger are just sort of tossed in the box and left to flop around, but the box is sturdy enough to use as storage for a while. It won’t last forever and it takes up a lot of room which is why, as usual, I wish Fun Factory would include a storage bag.

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator Pros:
• Unique sensation
• Very quiet
• Silicone
• Waterproof
• Rechargeable
• Travel lock
• Quick turn off button
• Easy to use control panel

Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator Cons:
• Lack of clit stimulation (for me)
• Slightly difficult to tell + and – buttons apart in daylight
• Major lint magnet
• No user manual

After being so excited about trying the Fun Factory Stronic Eins for a while, I was slightly let down that it didn’t get me off on its own. To be realistic though, it does a fantastic job at what it is meant to do, pulsate. It is not a rabbit vibrator, and while it does offer a hint of clit stimulation, that is not its primary function. I test a lot of sex toys that claim to be whisper quiet and only rarely do I run across one that can come close to its claims. The Stronic Eins Pulsator doesn’t actually make any such claims and yet it is shockingly quiet. I suppose that makes sense considering it doesn’t vibrate.

Of course, I love that it is waterproof and rechargeable, and I like the travel lock. I like to use travel locks while storing my toys so they don’t turn on accidentally, which happens with my rechargeable toys with surprising frequency. Even though the + and – buttons are not clearly defined in daylight, they’re totally discernible in the dark. I really like the quick off button rather than the typical hold it for a few seconds off button that is more common. I find it much easier to use and imagine it would be great if you need to turn the Pulsator off quickly for a variety of reasons.

Though there is no strong reason a beginner would not enjoy this toy, I think it better for those more experienced with sex toys. The Stronic Eins provides a very specific sensation not common to other sex toys and I wouldn’t recommend it as a first or only toy, unless you are all about thrusting. Then it night be the one for you. It is also slightly girthy at 1.75″, which may not be ideal for beginners and those who dislike girthy toys.

While the Stronic Eins Pulsator is not the end all be all of sex toys I was hoping it would be, it does what it is meant to very well. For that reason, along with the other positives of this toy, I am giving it high marks. Right now, EdenFantasys is offering a Free Gift with the purchase of the Fun Factory Stronic Eins Pulsator, so head on over and check it out for yourself, in either violet or pink.

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator Review

I love a rabbit vibrator and I love weird and unusual sex toys. Not that I’m saying anything new here, but combining the two makes me jump up and take note. This is why the Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator from Vibratex caught my attention.

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator

The Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator is made by a company based in Northern California, Vibratex, who makes the Classic Rabbit Pearl and the recently reviewed Budding Bliss. As you can see, the Pixie Plus is not your typical rabbit vibrator. First off, the shaft is covered in soft, tiny little nubs. Secondly, it has an oddly shaped head that is meant to focus its attention on the g-spot. What makes this rabbit vibrator even more unusual is that it doesn’t rotate or vibrate like most rabbits. The head of the Pixie Plus actually moves up and down, mimicking the “come hither” motion often said to be the best movement to stimulate the g-spot with fingers. Additionally, the “rabbit” piece of the vibrator, or the clit stimulator, is shaped more like an alien sucking monster than a cute little animal. This alien sucking monster is also attached to the vibrator by what looks like a telephone cord, rather than being connected directly to the shaft, and has a suction cup on its tip.

Made of elastomer, the Pixie Plus is the same material as the Classic Rabbit Pearl. Elastomer is not as high on the list of safe materials as silicone but it is latex and phthalate-free and body-safe. You can wash your Pixie Plus with warm water and antibacterial soap or use a sex toy cleaner. Unlike silicone, elastomer cannot be disinfected so it is best to either use condoms when sharing this vibrator or not to share it all, other than with fluid-bonded partners. Take extra care when cleaning the Pixie Plus as bodily fluids and lube can collect amongst the little nubs. Also, keep in mind the Pixie Plus is not waterproof, it isn’t even splash proof, and the battery cover is very loose so be extra cautious about keeping water away from the battery compartment.

One bonus of elastomer, for my silicone-based lube loving readers out there, is that it can be used with both water and silicone-based lubricants. I definitely recommend using lube with the Pixie Plus as the elastomer has a decent amount of drag, added to by all the nubs. Lube will make insertion easier and more comfortable and improve your experience all around.

The Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator is 7″ long, with 5″ of insertable length, and approximately 1.75″ in diameter. The stretchy cord that attaches the clit stimulator to the vibrator measures 2.5′. The control panel of the Pixie Plus takes up about 1/3 of the vibrator and is made of plastic. It has one switch and two dials. The switch turns the vibrator on and off while the dials control the shaft and clit stimulator functions. After turning the vibrator on, nothing will actually happen until you slide one or both of the dials. To turn on either the come hither function of the shaft or the vibrations of the clit stimulator, scroll down on the dials. These dials turn easily but do not have a typical “click” to let you know they have been turned all the way down. To turn the functions off, scroll up, but remember you also must turn the on/off switch to off. Otherwise, (I assume) a small amount of power could be leeching from the batteries. The Pixie Plus requires four AA batteries, which are not included. Do not store the vibrator with the batteries inside as this will decrease the life of the batteries and possibly the vibrator.

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator, Battery Compartment

Unfortunately, the battery compartment does not seal well and can easily collect moisture if you’re not careful, which I do not like. Another thing I really dislike about the battery compartment is that the panel slides off very easily with the slightest hint of pressure. This wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t also the “handle” of the Pixie Plus. During play when I am holding onto the vibrator, any movement of my hand causes the panel on the battery compartment to slide down and open. This is distracting and irritating whilst masturbating. It also makes the Pixie Plus difficult to grip.

I have already mentioned that the elastomer shaft of the Pixie Plus is covered in soft pink nubs, as is the sleeve over the clit stimulator. This sleeve has a cool little suction cup on the end that can be stuck on many parts of the body. My partner especially likes the suction just under the head of his penis and along the underside of its shaft. The clit stimulator is actually a basic corded silver bullet with the elastomer nubby sleeve covering it. This sleeve can be removed for easy cleaning and you can use the silver bullet on its own if you prefer. One advantage of this is that you can get more pinpoint stimulation on your clit with just the bullet. The disadvantage is that you lose the texture and suction aspect of the sleeve.

I wasn’t sure if the Pixie Plus would be difficult to use. I have played with many a g-spot vibrator but none with this kind of moving head. Insertion is easiest when then tip of the shaft is at its highest point rather than poking straight out. This creates a less steep curve. The g-spot head is slightly less girthy than the shaft, which also makes for easier insertion. With enough lubrication, I find it quite easy to insert the Pixie Plus and get it into the right position to hit my g-spot.

There are both good and bad aspects to the Pixie Plus. It did not turn out to be what I was really expecting. Surprisingly, I find myself quite enamored of the shaft’s come hither motion but not really liking the function of the clit stimulator as much as I had expected. On the one hand, I love the stretchy phone cord. It lets me have the shaft inside of me while using the stimulator on my nipples and allows the vibrator to fit my body better than some other rabbits. The vibrations of the stimulator tend toward middle of the road as far as buzziness is concerned. They do land on more on the buzzy side of the spectrum but by no means do they make my clit hurt.

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator, Head in Up Position

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator, Head in Down Position

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator, Clit Stimulator Size

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator, Clit Stimulator Suction Cup

The problem really lays with the sleeve. While I appreciate the sleeve on other parts of my body and like it in theory, it really dissipates the vibrations and causes them to be much more diffuse than I want. I prefer pinpoint clit stimulation, and though the vibrations are plenty powerful, the sleeve makes them feel much weaker than the intensity I expected from the level of power I feel elsewhere on my body. I like the suction feature but I tend to run the edge of the suction cup along my clit to really get the stimulation I need. Of course, I can remove the sleeve but then it’s just a boring old silver bullet and there’s nothing exciting about that. Besides, I like the texture of the sleeve against my skin. So the clit stimulator is really a win/fail combination for me.

On the other hand, the shaft works very well. Though the texture I like so much on the sleeve of the clit stimulator is too soft to actually do anything for me internally, it does provide a nice cushion, and the up and down come hither motion, so unusual from a vibrator, feels great on my g-spot. It’s not my partner’s fingers, but it is as close as I have gotten with a sex toy and that’s saying something. The level of power is excellent and easily adjustable depending upon what I want at any given moment. This part of the Pixie Plus is a total win.

The fact that the clit stimulator is corded, while being a huge benefit in my book, might be troublesome for some users. It does make using the Pixie Plus one-handed slightly challenging. Most people will need one hand on the stimulator and one hand on the base of the shaft. However, I find that if I desperately want a hand free I can simply clench the vibrator between my thighs and voila, free hand. This does help to eliminate some of my annoyance with the battery compartment cover slipping off during use, barely though, because I prefer holding the base in my hand. As a side note, clenching down on the shaft inside me does not stop the up and down movement of the head of the Pixie Plus like it does with some rotating shafts.

The packaging of the Pixie Plus is the standard Vibratex clear plastic box. You can see the vibrator right through it so it is totally indiscreet. I mean, you’re not going to mistake the Pixie Plus for anything other than a sex toy. This box doesn’t take up a huge amount of room so I suppose you could use it for storage but it’s not very strong or stable so I don’t recommend it. You’re better off with a ziploc bag to keep it from getting dusty and touching your other sex toys. There is an insert with some very basic info in the box and that’s it.

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator Packaging

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator Packaging

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator Pros:
• Great g-spot stimulation
• Powerful
• Clit stimulator can reach clit easily
• Clit stimulator feels great on nipples
• Clit stimulator works well for men too
• Cool suction cup feature
• Removable clit stimulator sleeve
• Easy to use control system

Vibratex Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator Cons:
• Diffuse vibrations on clit
• Battery cover comes off easily during use
• Loud
• Not even splash proof

The Pixie Plus Rabbit Vibrator creates a bit of a conundrum for me. The movement and power of the shaft are great and stimulate my g-spot very effectively. The sleeve provides a softness to the firm pressure I enjoy so much. The control panel is simple and easy to use, with the one downside being my tendency to forget to click the off switch. I think the stretchy cord that connects the clit stimulator to the vibrator is a fantastic idea and I wish more rabbit vibrators had a setup like this. It would certainly allow more women to benefit from a rabbit. It creates versatility in where I am stimulated. I also like the suction cup aspect to the clit stimulator. I think the power of the vibrations is more than sufficient. However, the sleeve diffuses the vibrations to the point where they feel far less powerful against my clit, as opposed to my nipples, labia, or my partner’s penis. I have a hard time getting the pinpoint stimulation I want and need.

The other thing that kills me is the how easily the door to the battery compartment slides off. It keeps coming off during use which is super annoying and distracting and makes it more difficult to hold onto the vibrator. I also don’t like how that makes it very susceptible to water damage. It would be so easy for water to drip down into the electronics during cleaning. It hasn’t happened so far but it concerns me. To be fair, I do not know if this is common with all of these vibrators or if it is just a glitch with mine. Additionally, the Pixie Plus is very loud. It can definitely be heard through a closed door and would require a decent amount of volume to hide the noise, so it is not a good choice for those with nosy roommates, parents, or children down the hall.

LELO Insignia Isla Review

If you follow Bean Fiddler or have checked out My Toy Box, you’ll see that I have a reviewed a fair amount of LELO Pleasure Objects and I generally enjoy them. When EdenFantasys asked if I would be interested in trying out the LELO Insignia Isla I jumped at the chance. I know it’s not one of their newest vibrators, but I love my waterproof sex toys, so when I had the the opportunity to review such a high quality vibrator, I was excited.

LELO Insignia Isla G-Spot Vibrator

LELO is a Swedish company that produces high-end luxury sex toys, or as they call them, Pleasure Objects. The LELO Insignia line is their relatively new line of waterproof vibrators. They are differentiated from the other LELO sex toys by their gold plastic accents, and of course by being waterproof. This allows you to take the Isla into the bath or shower and makes cleaning the vibrator mostly a breeze. As the LELO Insignia Isla is made of silicone and plastic, you have several options for cleaning. LELO recommends warm water and antibacterial soap, which is generally what I use to clean my Isla. You can also use a sex toy cleaner. A 10% bleach solution can be used to sterilize the silicone but I am uncertain as to how it would effect the gold plastic. I am concerned it might damage the finish and therefore haven’t used bleach with mine. I do not share my toys with other people, so I have no real need to sterilize the Isla. Though you can use alcohol on many plastic toys, LELO warns against using it with this vibrator. I do have a major issue with cleaning my LELO Insignia Isla, but I’ll address that in a bit.

The silicone of the Isla is the typical soft and smooth high-quality silicone that I have always found with LELO toys. I love this silicone. It feels so silky against my skin and it does not attract lint and dust, which is impressive for a silicone vibrator. Due to the silicone, it is best to use a water-based lubricant. A silicone-based lube can cause a chemical reaction with the silicone of the Isla and leave it tacky. If you do plan on using a silicone-based lubricant, use a high quality one and do a patch test first.

The LELO Insignia Isla is not an overly large vibrator. It measures 8.5″ in length, with 5.5″ being insertable. It is almost 1.5″ in diameter, which is about average. The shape is slightly different than many of my other vibrators. Rather than being round it is somewhat oblong. I notice the difference when I hold it in my hand but it does not feel any different inside me. There is a slight curve to the shaft of the Isla, making it the g-spot vibrator of the Insignia line. The sleek silicone lays over what I assume is a hard plastic. There is absolutely no give to the LELO Isla, so you will definitely feel that girth inside of you. The Isla has a handle at its base that can be used to manipulate its movements.

While I do like the shape and overall looks of this vibrator, I have an issue with the design. As I have mentioned, the LELO Insignia Isla is made of silicone and plastic. As you can see in the images, the exterior of the vibrator is silicone, with the interior being the gold plastic. There is a tiny seam all along the outside of the gold plastic where it meets the silicone. Now this seam is no big deal when the vibrator is inside me. I don’t feel it at all. However, it makes the Isla a big pain to clean. Lube and bodily fluids love to crawl up inside this seam everywhere they possibly can and I feel like I need a special tool just to clean them out. A good wash in the sink is simply not enough, there is always some residue left in the seam when I am done. I really need a toothpick, fingernail, old toothbrush, something to get into that seam. I would be hesitant to share this vibrator with a partner unless we were fluid-bonded because I do not have confidence the Isla can be sterilized due to this annoying seam.

As with all of LELO’s vibrators and cock rings, the LELO Insignia Isla is rechargeable, which I love. Though it can be nice to have a few vibes around that are ready in a pinch, I would much prefer to charge my vibrators than spend the money and waste resources on going through a ton of batteries. To charge the Isla, you simply plug the AC charger into the port on the back of the vibrator. The LED on the control panel pulses white during charging and glows steadily when the charge is complete. A full charge takes approximately two hours and gives you up to four hours of play time. If the charge is running low, the control panel of the Isla will blink rapidly when you turn the vibrator on. A full charge should give you about 90 days of standby time, though LELO recommends you charge your Isla once per month.

The control panel on the LELO Insignia Isla is much like the control panels on the remotes of the Insignia Lyla, the Insignia Tiani and the Tiani 2. There are three buttons lined up vertically on the handle, the + button, the () button, and the – button. These buttons have the same function on the Isla as on the rest of LELO’s Insignia line. The + buttons turns the vibrator on and increases the intensity of the vibrations. The – button decreases the vibration intensity and turns the Isla off. The () button cycles through the vibration modes. One great thing about the LELO Isla is that you can increase and decrease the intensity of the vibrations in each mode by using the + and – buttons. It does not have a memory chip so every time you turn it on the Isla starts at the lowest level of steady vibration. As with other LELO vibrators, the Isla has a travel lock. Hold down on the + and – buttons for five seconds to lock and unlock. The LED will flash once to let you know you have been successful.

The LELO Insignia Isla has six different modes of vibration and within these modes, there are variable intensities. They are as follows:
1. Steady vibration
2. Slow pulse
3. Faster pulse
4. Medium, longer pulse
5. Revving up
6. Dance Mix

In use, I think this vibrator does a good job. I find the vibrations to be deep and rumbly, like many of my other LELO vibrators. They are quiet and can certainly be used with someone in the next room, as long as you have a closed door between you. No need for music or TV to muffle the sound. I really enjoy the different vibration modes and tend to use Dance Mix the most. I like the hardness of the shaft which allows me to feel the full girth of the vibrator inside of me. I do like my sex toys with some girth to them so 1.5″ is not large for me. I love the handle as it makes thrusting supper easy and keeps my hand from getting all slippery from lube and other fluids. It is comfortable to hold onto and makes the control panel easily accessible. The vibrations are strong and more than sufficient to get me off. I think many women will feel the same way. At the right angle, the tip of the Isla does hit my g-spot but it really doesn’t shine as a g-spot toy for me. It feels more like a traditional vibrator. I do enjoy thrusting with it and it works great on my clit. I can get off in very little time with the LELO Insignia Isla, which to me is the sign of a good vibrator.

The packaging of the LELO Insignia Isla is the same high quality packaging of other LELO vibrators. The external box is black with an image of the Isla on the front and back. Inside is the traditional black hard storage box with LELO printed on the lid. This box is totally discreet and can be left laying about unless you have little kids or nosy friends who open your stuff without permission. Inside the box, the Isla lays in a bed of black velvet foam, with the signature gold Insignia pin beside it. This pin is included with all the Insignia vibrators and I have yet to figure out what to do with them. I suppose I could wear one around exchanging winks with anyone else silly enough to do the same. Also included in the box is the charger, a black satin storage bag, a sample of LELO’s personal moisturizer (lubricant), a user manual, and the typical LELO one year warranty/10 year quality guarantee. This 10 year quality guarantee is something I have only seen from LELO. If your LELO vibrator dies after the one year warranty is up, LELO will allow you to purchase another toy from their website for 50% off. Pretty cool.

LELO Insignia Isla Pros:
• Strong vibrations
• Quiet
• Waterproof
• Great handle
• Well-placed controls
• Can control the level of intensity in each mode
• High quality silicone

LELO Insignia Isla Cons:
• Seam between plastic and silicone

There are many qualities I love about the LELO Insignia Isla. It is waterproof and rechargeable. The silicone is silky smooth and does not attract lint. The vibrations are powerful and quiet and I like the patterns. The handle makes thrusting and hitting buttons a pleasure. The Isla lives up to the high standards of many of LELO’s vibrators, and more importantly, to my high expectations. It really isn’t a true g-spot vibe for me, but I’m much more clit oriented so I don’t see that as a drawback. The one thing that really bugs me is that seam. It pisses me off every time I wash the Isla. If it wasn’t for that annoying seam I would give the LELO Insignia Isla a rating of 4.5 beans, but I’m knocking off one bean because cleaning this vibe sucks. Nonetheless, I do really like this vibrator and its good qualities totally override the cleaning issues, especially as I don’t share the Isla with anyone else. Therefore, I highly recommend it…if you don’t mind the hassle of cleaning it.

You can find the LELO Insignia Isla at EdenFantasys. I suggest you hurry and head over there because right now the LELO Insignia line is on sale for 20% off! The entire LELO Insignia line doesn’t go on sale terribly often so it’s a good time to pick up one of the vibrators. This sale ends at 2 PM EST on Friday, 11/16/12, so go check it out now!

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator Review

I like vibrators that perform multiple functions and can stimulate more than one part of my body at a time. I have also had my eye out for smaller vibrators lately because many of my vibrators are on the larger side. I was browsing the Vibrator.com website and saw the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator and thought it might be fun to try out.

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator

The Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is made by BMS Enterprises, a Canadian company. The only other product from BMS I have reviewed is the leaf Fresh, which I really liked. However, these vibrators are very different. The Dahlia Breeze Vibrator is made of hard plastic with Rubber Cote, which is a coating over the entire vibrator that makes it soft and smooth. I like sex toys made of plastic because they are latex and phthalate-free and non-porous. You can also use either water-based or silicone-based lubricants with plastic-coated vibrators, which is quite convenient.

Plastic-coated vibrators are easy to care for and clean as you can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap, a sex toy cleaner, or rubbing alcohol. The Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is waterproof which makes it especially easy to wash with water or any other fluid. You just want to be sure to screw the cap to the battery compartment on tightly so the black o-ring will keep any fluid from leaking in.

At 5.75″ long, with 3″ being insertable, the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is definitely on the small side. Measuring 1.5″ at its widest point makes this vibrator moderate in girth and many people will find it comfortable. Keep in mind the plastic is hard and does not give at all, like some other materials, so it may feel slightly larger than a silicone vibrator or dildo that has the same measurements. The clit bump is about .75″ long and .5″ wide. It is meant to rub up against your clit while the bulbous internal shaft stimulates your g-spot.

The Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is very easy to use and operate. It has three levels of vibration and a simple push button on the bottom of the battery compartment. To turn the vibrator on, off, and to cycle through the three speeds you press this black button. The Dahlia Breeze has no memory chip so no matter where you turn it off it always starts at the lowest level of vibration when you turn it back on.

One great thing about the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is the battery compartment. First off, there is a small o-ring which keeps fluids out as long as the cap is screwed on tightly, and second is the battery holder that slides out of the compartment. This is a long plastic cartridge that shows you in which direction to place the batteries and holds the batteries in place. You insert the batteries into the cartridge and slide it into the compartment. This makes it very easy to store the batteries outside of the vibrator. Remember, you never want to store your vibrator with the batteries inside. Even without turning on the Dahlia Breeze, the batteries can still drain. Storing your vibrator without the batteries inside will protect the life of your batteries and vibrator. The Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G uses two AAA batteries which are always easy to find and I tend to have them laying about the house.

Surprisingly, the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is insanely loud for a vibrator of its size. I was expecting something that could be used next to partner without waking him or her up. Not possible with this vibrator. I can even hear it through my closed bedroom door, which I find unacceptable. This isn’t a Hitachi after all.

Unfortunately, I can barely enjoy this vibrator in use. First, I find the handle of the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator far too short. There is hardly any room to grip and manipulate the vibrator. Second, the clit bump does absolutely nothing for me. It just isn’t large enough for me to feel it rubbing against my clit. It may as well not be there. Third, when I try using the g-spot shaft on my clit, it still isn’t workable. The vibrations, though powerful enough for me, are so high-pitched and buzzy that I cannot orgasm with this vibrator. My clit begins to buzz unpleasantly and actually hurt within a very short period of time. The large head of the shaft diffuses the vibrations as well, so they aren’t as pinpoint as I need to get off. The only aspect about the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator that I like is the actual shaft. The shape, size, and angle feel very good against my g-spot. I do not orgasm from g-spot stimulation only, though it can certainly increase the sensation and magnify my orgasm. No matter how good the shaft feels on my g-spot it simply isn’t enough stimulation for me to orgasm, considering the cit bump is a no show during play.

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator Packaging

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator Packaging

The packaging of the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is simply a plastic blister pack with a cardboard insert with basically no useful information on it. Thank goodness for the Vibrator.com website providing some information. Inside the blister pack, the Dahlia Breeze is sealed in plastic. The packaging is definitely not discreet as you can obviously see the vibrator. It also says, “clitoral massager,” on the back. There is no reason to keep this packaging as it is not useful for storage. It’s better just to recycle it.

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet Vibrator Pros:
• Good g-spot stimulation
• Waterproof

Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator Cons:
• Very buzzy vibrations
• Clit bump isn’t felt
• Loud
• Short handle

I am quite disappointed in this vibrator. Granted, the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator is not the priciest toy on the Vibrator.com website, but price is not necessarily an indicator of quality or enjoyment. I expected more than this vibrator provided. The size and shape of the clit bump make it absolutely useless for me. The handle is so short I have trouble thrusting and manipulating the vibrator. It is far too loud for such a small sex toy. Worst of all are the vibrations. They are so buzzy and high-pitched I cannot even get off with the Dahlia Breeze making it basically useless to me. The only really good things about this vibrator are the fact that it is waterproof and the shape and size of the shaft. I would continue to use it as a dildo except that the handle is too short to make even that worthwhile. Not to mention the useless clit bump whose only function seems to be getting in the way of another clit vibrator. If you’d like to check out the Dahlia Breeze Power Bullet G Vibrator, head on over to Vibrator.com. Quite frankly though, I would recommend investing the time by looking at the other vibrators on the site instead. Be sure to follow Vibrator.com on Twitter to stay on top of what’s going with them.
