Remote Rabbit Review

If you’ve spent any time here on Bean Fiddler, you know I have a respectable collection of sex toys. I am very fond of Rabbit Vibrators and I love trying them out. I also like a remote controlled toy, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to test out the Remote Rabbit from MyPleasure.

Remote Rabbit

The Remote Rabbit is 9.5″ long, with 5.5″ being insertable, and 1.5″ in diameter. It is made of TPE, which is similar to TPR. It is soft and squishy and comfortable to use. TPE is porous so don’t share it between non-fluid bonded partners unless you use a condom on it. Even then, I wouldn’t recommend it because of the rabbit attachment. I suppose you could also put on a condom on that piece but I just don’t feel it’s a good idea. To be completely safe, keep this vibrator to yourself or share only with your fluid bonded partner.

You can use the Remote Rabbit with both water-based and silicone-based lubricants. There is quite a lot of drag to the Remote Rabbit so I recommend using a good amount of whatever lube you prefer. There is so much drag that storing it is kind of amusing as it wants to stick to the plastic bag, so it’s a bit tricky getting it in and out of there.

As it does not come with any user manual, I am uncertain if the Remote Rabbit is waterproof but I doubt it. As long as you keep the bottom of the shaft, where the battery compartment is, from getting wet I think you’ll be fine. To clean, you can carefully wash your Remote Rabbit with antibacterial soap and warm water or use your favorite sex toy cleaner. Do not use anything harsh, like bleach.

Remote Rabbit Remote

The Remote Rabbit operates on three AAA batteries, which are not included with the vibrator. These batteries fit into a cool little cartridge attached to the bottom of the vibrator that pulls completely out. The batteries do like to pop out of the cartridge when it’s not inside the vibrator, so watch out for that. You know how I always recommend storing your sex toys without the batteries in them? Well, I do this with mine. However, I don’t always remove the batteries right after playing with the vibrator if I’m planning on using it again in the very near future. This turned out to be a mistake with my Remote Rabbit. It seems this vibrator is possessed. Twice in the middle of the night it turned itself on and woke me up, startling me. Oddly enough, only the rotating feature turned on. I wasn’t smart enough to think about removing the battery pack the first time it happened. Of course, it was the middle of the night and I was sound asleep.

The Remote Rabbit has two separate motors, one that causes the shaft to rotate and one that vibrates the clitoral rabbit attachment. These motors are separately controlled by the included remote. The remote for the Remote Rabbit is 3.25″ long and 1.75″ wide. It is lightweight and fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. It requires one 23A 12V battery, which MyPleasure kindly includes in the packaging. I appreciate this as I don’t have 12V batteries just laying around the house, considering it’s not the most common of battery sizes. The remote is easy to use and the screen lights up when it is turned on. There are three buttons on the remote, On/Off, Vibe, and Rotate. This is pretty self-explanatory. You use the On/Off button to turn the remote on and off. The Vibe button turns on the rabbit attachment and controls its intensity. The Rotate button does the same for the shaft. There is a button on the base of the Remote Rabbit that you must press to turn it on before you can use the remote control with it. The remote works at about 30 feet away from the vibrator and it worked through two walls which was pretty impressive. You can only use the Remote Rabbit with the remote control. It cannot be used on it’s own. This means if your remote has a dead battery and you don’t have new one you are out of luck, which is a bit of a downside.

Remote Rabbit Vibrator

Remote Rabbit Vibrator

Remote Rabbit Vibrator

Remote Rabbit Vibrator

Both the rabbit attachment and the shaft of the Remote Rabbit have three speeds and two patterns. The patterns of the shaft are somewhat funny because I’ve never had a rabbit with shaft rotation patterns. The first pattern has the shaft rotating to the right and then to the left, back and forth. The second pattern does the same for a longer rotation. I don’t really enjoy them in use though because they don’t do much for me. It’s more annoying than anything.

The shape of the Remote Rabbit is somewhat realistic. Well, as realistic as a purple vibrator with a bunny attachment can be. There is a tapered head that allows the vibrator to slip inside me easily, and ribbing around the shaft. I don’t feel the ribbing when the Remote Rabbit is inside me. The metal beads inside the shaft are on a track which keeps them from being displaced which has happened with some rabbit vibrators I have tried. The rabbit has very soft, bendy ears which are good for clit stimulation. The vibrations of the rabbit are mid-range and not buzzy. Unfortunately they are not very powerful. On the first level of intensity I can barely tell it’s on. The third level will be strong enough to get some people off, but I have yet to orgasm with the Remote Rabbit. If you need very strong vibrations, this is not the rabbit for you.

On the other hand, the shaft rotations are quite strong. Some rabbit vibes have rotations that are not powerful enough, so when I clamp down on them they stop rotating. This does not happen with the Remote Rabbit. However, if I’m using it hands-free and I don’t clamp down it rotates itself right out of my body, so it really isn’t a hands-free vibrator. The rotations are also not very wide so I find the sensation inside me to be rather minimal. The Remote Rabbit is definitely on the loud side and the rabbit attachment gives off a small whine when it’s at its highest intensity.

So how well does the Remote Rabbit get me off? Not well at all. I find the rotations to be unimpressive to a great degree, so I’m not getting the sensation I want. When it comes to the rabbit attachment, the vibrations are far too weak to really bring me to orgasm. Perhaps if I were more patient and willing to wait it out, it would happen. I’m not, however. It just doesn’t feel good enough.

Remote Rabbit Packaging

Remote Rabbit Packaging

Remote Rabbit Packaging

The packaging of the Remote Rabbit is very minimal and is basically like the packaging of the Red Remote Control Egg from MyPleasure. The vibrator and remote come in a plastic bag that can be reused for storage. Inside the bag the vibrator is shrink-wrapped in plastic and the remote is in a little plastic bag. This bag comes wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the vibrator and remote. Though I am a fan of fancy packaging, I also like this minimal packaging. There’s not a bunch of stuff to throw away or recycle and the bag can be reused. This probably helps keep the cost down on the Remote Rabbit, which is always a good thing.

Remote Rabbit Pros:
• Remote control
• Can be used with both water-based and silicone-based lube

Remote Rabbit Cons:
• Rabbit attachment not very powerful
• Rotations not very wide
• Can only be used with remote
• Loud

Overall, the Remote Rabbit is not my favorite rabbit vibrator. While there are things to like about it, there are more aspects that I dislike. I really want the rabbit to be much stronger and the rotations to be wider. I can live with the fact that I can only use it with the remote and I’m fine with the loudness because I live by myself. I like that I can use whatever lube I want with it but what’s the point if I can’t orgasm? For this reason I have to give the Remote Rabbit low marks. You can purchase the Remote Rabbit atMyPleasure or their check out their other rabbit vibrators.

LELO Insignia Tiani 2 Review

When it first came out back in October, I reviewed the LELO Tiani. There were some things about it I liked and some things I didn’t. One good thing about LELO is that they really do listen to customer feedback. After hearing comments and complaints about certain aspects of the LELO Tiani, LELO upgraded and updated it and recently released the new LELO Insignia Tiani 2.

LELO Insignia Tiani 2

The LELO Insignia Tiani 2 looks the same as its predecessor but there are some very significant changes. Check out my review of the original LELO Tiani if you’re not familiar with it. LELO claims the Tiani 2 is 50% more powerful than the the original, while being quieter. It is definitely more powerful and quieter, especially the remote. The Tiani itself wasn’t terribly loud but the remote was on the loud side. This is much improved with the Tiani 2. I also find it easier to get off with the LELO Tiani 2 than I did with the original Tiani due to the ramped up power, though getting off with it still isn’t the easiest thing in the world for me.

One of the big issues the original LELO Tiani had was the remote losing contact and the vibrator turning off. This was incredibly annoying. Well, LELO has added an intelligent memory chip to the Tiani 2 so if communication between the remote and the Tiani 2 is blocked, the vibrations will not be interrupted. This really works. When the remote is blocked, the Tiani 2 stays on and keeps running. Obviously you cannot change the intensity or patterns or turn it off when this happens. However, the fact that the Tiani 2 does stay on is a huge improvement.

Additionally, the new Tiani 2′s remote is meant to have a range of up to 48 feet. I had a difficult time testing this out as I don’t have that much space in my apartment. It does, however, have much more range than my original Tiani which didn’t work from the other side of the room. The Tiani 2 remote works from at least 20 feet away and through one wall, though it did not work through two walls.

Another improvement LELO has made to the Tiani 2 is that you can now use it without the remote. Of course, if you want to use the SenseMotion feature, you will still need to use the remote. However, if you just want to use the steady vibration and patterns you can do so without the remote. To use the Tiani 2 without the remote, press the button on the clitoral arm to activate it, then the press the button again to turn the vibrations on. Press the button to cycle through the different modes. To turn off the Tiani 2, press and hold the button down for three seconds. Once turned off, the Tiani 2 goes into standby mode for an hour before it it turns completely off, so it will be receptive to receiving signals from the remote during this time. This is a really great feature as you may not always feel like using the remote for whatever reason.

LELO Tiani 2 Remote

LELO Tiani 2 Remote

LELO Tiani 2 Attachments

Now we come to the new arm that is now included with the LELO Tiani 2. The original Tiani came with one arm attachment but the Tiani 2 comes with two different g-spot arms. One is the same shape and size as the original and the other is slightly wider, longer, and more square. This is meant to provide more stability and keep the Tiani 2 in place during sex. It is also meant to provide more stimulation to the g-spot during use. While I do find this arm to be quite stable, it really doesn’t provide much g-spot stimulation for me, though neither does the original arm. The Tiani 2 just isn’t a good g-spot toy for my body. The arms are way too soft and smushy to provide the pressure my g-spot prefers. Both of these arms are very bendy and can be easily manipulated.

Like the Tiani the LELO Tiani 2 is made of silicone, with a gold plastic band. This silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. As it is made of silicone, LELO recommends using only water-based lubricant with the Tiani 2. Using silicone-based lube could cause it to become tacky. The Tiani 2 is waterproof and can be cleaned with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, your favorite sex toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. Even though using this bleach solution will sterilize the Tiani 2, I would be hesitant to use it with non-fluid bonded partners because of the plastic. When cleaning make sure you do not get any fluid inside the DC charging socket.

One noted improvement of the LELO Tiani 2 over the original Tiani is that it is much easier to clean. One of the things I found irritating with the original Tiani was how lube and bodily fluids would get trapped between the plastic band and silicone. When I would unscrew the clit stimulator after use it would be a mess and so difficult to clean even with a fingernail or cotton swab. I’m lazy and it’s so important to be able to thoroughly clean your sex toys so this was a big drag for me. The Tiani 2 seems to have less room around the screw threads, thus sealing more tightly, and this doesn’t happen.

Like all other LELO Pleasure Objects, the LELO Tiani 2 is rechargeable. The remote, however, runs on two AAA batteries, which LELO kindly includes in the box. Though I do wish the remote was also rechargeable, I really appreciate that the remote uses AAA batteries rather than watch batteries or something equally difficult to find. It takes about two hours to completely charge the LELO Tiani 2 and the LED light on the unit will pulse during charging. When the Tiani 2 is fully charged the LED light will glow steadily. To charge, you simply unscrew the g-spot arm from the clitoral attachment and plug the charger into the clitoral piece.

Like the original Tiani, the LELO Tiani 2 has eight different modes of vibration. There are two SenseMotion modes, a steady vibration, and five patterns. As I mentioned before, you must use the remote for the SenseMotion modes, but it is not necessary for the the other six.
1. SenseMotion 1
2. SenseMotion 2
3. Steady vibration
4. Pulse
5. Faster pulse
6. Ramp up
7. Roller coaster
8. Dance Mix

LELO Tiani 2

LELO Tiani 2

LELO Tiani 2

LELO Tiani 2

The remote is simple and straight-forward. There are three buttons, the +, the -, and the () buttons. To turn the LELO Tiani 2 on, press and hold the + button for approximately two seconds. To turn it off, press and hold the – button. To cycle through the vibration modes use the () button. In modes 3-8 you can increase and decrease the intensity of the vibration by using the + and – buttons. This doesn’t work in modes 1 and 2 which are the SenseMotion modes.

One thing I find tricky about the remote is getting into it to insert and remove the batteries. It comes with a proprietary key to open it and LELO specifically says not to use anything else to open the remote, such as a coin. I found the Tiani a bit difficult to open, but the Tiani 2 is close to impossible. I don’t know if it’s just my remote, but even with the key I have the hardest time getting it open. You may think this is no big deal because I don’t have to open it very often, but it is best to store the remote without the batteries inside. This will give the batteries a longer life. Therefore, having such trouble opening the remote is really a pain.

Though I did cover the SenseMotion modes in my review of the original LELO Tiani, I will give a brief recap here. When you turn on the Tiani 2 you will be in SenseMotion mode 1. In this mode you control the speed and intensity of the Tiani 2 by moving the remote around. To increase the intensity, tilt the remote toward a vertical position. When the remote is fully vertical, the highest intensity has been reached. In SenseMotion mode 2 you move the remote in any direction. The faster you move the remote, the more intense the vibrations. One thing I really like about the SenseMotion remote for both the Tiani and Tiani 2 is that whatever is happening to the Tiani is also happening to the remote. This allows you to feel in the remote what the person wearing the Tiani is feeling. This feedback is helpful in deciding how much motion to use.

The LELO Tiani 2 remote also has a travel lock. Press and hold the + and – buttons simultaneously to lock the remote. Do the same to unlock. The LED light on the front of the remote will light up while locking and turn off when the remote is locked. When unlocking, the LED light will turn on to let you know the remote is now unlocked.

The packaging of the new LELO Tiani 2 is more or less the same as the previous version, with the exception of the outer box. As you can see, the outer box is slightly different in color and says, “LELO Design Edition,” on it. The inner box is the same as usual, a hard black box that says LELO on it and is perfectly discreet otherwise. Inside this box is the Tiani 2 with its two attachments, charger, the remote control with its key and two batteries, the signature Insignia pin, satin storage bag, a sample of LELO water-based lubricant, the instruction manual, and the warranty booklet. The LELO Insignia Tiani 2 comes with a one year warranty and 10 year quality guarantee. The warranty is standard and the quality guarantee provides an option for the owner to purchase a new LELO Pleasure Object at a 50% discount if the Tiani 2 breaks within 10 years after the one year warranty expires.

LELO Insignia Tiani 2 Pros
• More powerful than Tiani
• Quieter than Tiani
• Can use without remote
• Intelligent memory chip keeps vibrator on
• Easier to clean than Tiani
• Silicone
• Rechargeable

LELO Insignia Tiani 2 Cons
• No g-spot stimulation
• Remote is difficult to open

While I did find things to like about the LELO Tiani, it didn’t live up to the hype. I must say I am truly impressed with all the changes LELO has made to the Tiani 2 and how quickly they revamped it. It really is much better than its predecessor. The LELO Tiani 2 is stronger, quieter, and easier to clean than the Tiani. The intelligent smart chip really does work and keeps the vibrator from turning off when the remote is blocked. The remote also works from farther away and doesn’t lose contact unless I get too many walls in the way. While it isn’t perfect, the Tiani 2 does a much better job at what it’s meant to do than the original Tiani. Many people will be happy with this new Tiani 2 and I can solidly recommend it. You can pick up your own LELO Tiani 2 directly from LELO.

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Vibrator Review

Not that long ago I reviewed the Jopen Vanity Vr5.5, which I really liked, and a while back I reviewed the Vanity Vr10, which I didn’t like as much. Today I thought we would take a look at another Jopen vibrator, the Vanity Vr3.

Jopen Vanity Vr3

Considering that Jopen is the sister company to California Exotics, a company that rarely thrills me, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Vr3. The Jopen Vanity Vr3 is a rabbit vibrator that is completely covered in silicone. There is no give to the insertable portion or the clit stimulator, but there is some flexibility at their bases. This allows you to push down on the clit stimulator if you need more contact with or pressure on your clit during play.

The fact that this vibrator is completely covered in silicone means it is waterproof, which I love. This makes cleaning the Vanity Vr3 super easy. While you can use your favorite sex toy cleaner, I just wash it in the sink with antibacterial soap and warm water. As the Vr3 is silicone you can also use a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it so you can use it with non-fluid bonded partners. Of course, silicone is great for sex toys as it is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe.

The silicone of the Vanity Vr3 has a tendency to collect lint, dust, and hair like many of my silicone sex toys, which is a drag. Speaking of drag, there is a good amount with the Vr3 so be sure to use water-based lubricant. You want to avoid silicone-based lubes which might have a negative chemical reaction with the silicone of the Vanity Vr3.

The Vanity Vr3 is 6.5″ in length, with 3.5″ being insertable, and 1.5″ in diameter. The clit attachment is approximately 1.5″ long. The insertable portion bulges out in order to provide g-spot stimulation. This vibrator is rechargeable through a port in the bottom of the base. This port is covered with silicone that slightly parts as you insert the charging prong. It closes up when the charger is removed. During charging a red LED lights up at the base of the vibrator. I’m not certain how long it takes to fully charge the Vanity Vr3 because I usually charge it overnight, which is plenty of time.

Vanity Vr3 Vibrator

Vanity Vr3 Vibrator

Vanity Vr3 Vibrator

Vanity Vr3 Vibrator

With its two button control panel, the Vanity Vr3 is simple to operate. The top button controls the internal portion while the bottom button controls the clit stimulator. To turn it on or off, just press one or both of the buttons. To increase the intensity, press and hold down on the button. When the vibrator is on the LED for the corresponding motor lights up. When holding down the button to increase the power, the LED blinks. The Vr3 has no memory so it always starts at the lowest level of vibration no matter where you turn it off. I sometimes get a little confused and accidentally turn the vibrator off when I am trying to increase the power as many of my vibrators require me to push the button rather than holding it down to do this.

Just like the other Jopen vibrators, the Vanity Vr3 has a travel lock which is pretty great. Press down on both buttons and hold for four seconds to lock. Do the same to unlock. While locking, the LED lights will go on then turn off letting you know the vibrator is locked. When unlocking, the bottom LED light turns on, then when the vibrator is unlocked, the top light turns on too. Though I don’t do a lot of traveling I still appreciate a travel lock on my sex toys. I often use it even when the toys are stored to make sure they don’t accidentally turn on.

The vibrations of the Vanity Vr3 are deep and rumbly and quite strong. They are on par with the vibrations of the Jopen Vanity Vr5.5, which I really like. The vibrator is fairly quiet. I can hear it underneath the blankets but not through a closed door. The bulging insertable portion hits my g-spot slightly when thrusting. I did find the Vanity Vr5.5 to be on the short side for thrusting and the Vr3 is about .5″ shorter so thrusting is even more of a challenge. However, the real problem with this vibrator is that it doesn’t fit my body very well. The clit attachment sits too far away from my body and I have to press down on it to maintain contact with my clit. This is just annoying during play. Of course, this is always the risk with rabbit vibrators, sometimes they fit and sometimes they don’t.

I’ve already mentioned in my other reviews that I’m not terribly impressed with the Jopen packaging. It doesn’t really match the high price tag of the Vr3. It’s a simple box with the vibrator, charger, and basic information inside. Jopen considerately includes a storage bag for the Vr3. However, it is huge. I use it for the Vr3, my Eroscillator and its attachments, and I still have a ton of room left over. Me thinks it is just too big for it’s purpose. Still, it is a storage bag and I appreciate that tremendously. However, I am noticing the storage bag doesn’t seem to keep all the lint and such off the Vanity Vr3, though I haven’t figured out why. Considering it’s important to wash the vibrator before and after use it’s not the biggest deal in the world but I do find it slightly annoying.

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Packaging

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Packaging

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Packaging

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Pros:
• Silicone
• Dual Motors
• Rumbly, strong vibrations
• Rechargeable
• Travel lock
• Storage bag

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Cons:
• Not a great fit for my body
• Short handle

The Jopen Vanity Vr3 has much in common with the Jopen Vanity Vr5.5, of which I am a huge fan. Both vibrators have the same smooth silicone and the same deep and powerful vibrations. Both are waterproof and rechargeable with travel locks. However, while the Vanity Vr5.5 fits my body so well, the Vr3 does not. The damn clit attachment just sits too far away from my body to easily hit my clit. However, this really is a case in which there is nothing wrong with the vibrator, it just isn’t a good fit for my body. I am scoring it rather low because it doesn’t work well for me, but if you think it will fit your body well then I do recommend it. For the most part, it is a really good vibrator. In fact, if it fit my body better I’d give it four beans. It’s just that the Vr5.5 is a much better fit for me.

Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring Review

I will just start off this review by saying that I have never been a big fan of cock rings. The very fine people at FunWares were kind enough to throw this in as freebie when I got my Jenna Haze Swallow Fleshlight from them. The Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring is a cock ring that has two tiny bullet vibrators on it that are meant to stimulate both the male and female during intercourse.

Screaming o two-o double pleasure ring

As you can tell from the picture above, the packaging is very simple. It’s cardboard sheet with a blisterpack containing the Screaming O. The backside of the packaging contains some very basic instructions and a diagram showing you the different aspects of the toy. It’s all very barebones and basic but for a toy at this price point I wouldn’t expect much more.

Inside you will find the toy itself. The Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring is made of food-grade quality SEBS (TPE with styrene added) and it’s latex and phthalate-free. The toy has twin motors, which when worn should be at the top and the underside of the penis. The top one is designed to rub against your partner’s clitoris and the bottom one is to vibrate the penis. Obviously, they both vibrate the penis though. The ring itself has some knobs on it that give the ring a bit of a texture. The motors are pretty tiny at about an inch long. To turn on the the motors each one has little sliding switch. These switches are easy to turn on/off while wearing the Screaming O.

As I stated when I first started this review I am not a fan of cock rings. This one is no exception. It’s kind of fun in a novelty kind of way but it does very little to enhance the experience in my personal opinion. I’ve used it both solo and with a partner and both experiences are pretty underwhelming. Using it solo I was definitely aware of the vibrations, they are surprisingly strong consider their diminutive size. That said, they are very buzzy. The vibrations really did nothing to enhance the experience for me, I was cognizant of them but they did nothing for me. Using it with a partner I felt pretty much the same way and she wasn’t impressed either. The vibrations are minor and buzzy and unless you are grinding they are very intermittent for the female.

I do have a funny story about the Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring. I was using it solo one day and I’ll just say that if you have cats, BEWARE! My two cats were extremely curious about the sounds coming from under my covers and if I hadn’t been aware of them I may have had a very painful experience! I ended up having to put my cats in the other room to finish my session.

Overall, I am not impressed with the Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring. I am admittedly probably not the target audience as I don’t particularly like cock rings. But this is my review so I am going to give you my opinion of it. It’s sort of fun in a novelty kind of way but it’s definitely not something I am going to be breaking out on a regular basis. It is very inexpensive though so if you’re curious and want to try it you can do so without spending a lot of money. One thing that I haven’t mentioned is that it does come with batteries. The batteries are not replaceable as this toy is meant to be disposed of. Screaming O states that the batteries are good for about 40 minutes of use.

If you are curious about the Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring you can pick one up at Funwares. Sceaming O has a whole line of sex toys, most of them being vibrating cock rings. If Screaming O Two-O Double Pleasure Ring doesn’t look like something you’d like, check out some of Screaming O’s other toys. Smooth Lover Dildo Review

I’m the first to admit, when it comes to sex toys I tend to prefer vibrators over dildos. That’s what really gets me off. However, I do love the feeling of being filled and thrusting something (or having something thrust) inside me. When I want that feeling I will often use one toy inside me and one on my clit. That’s where a good dildo comes in, like the Smooth Lover from MyPleasure.

Smooth Lover Dildo

The Smooth Lover is a 100% Japanese platinum silicone dildo made by Ophoria. Ophoria calls it the Pleasure No. 6 which is a pretty lame name, though I’m not sure Smooth Lover is totally appropriate as it isn’t completely smooth. This pretty in pink dildo has some lovely scroll work on the sides as well as a pearl detail underneath the head and at its base. In fact, it looks to me like a dildo wearing a pearl choker. I’ve never had a dildo that wears jewelry before but the Smooth Lover is quite fetching with its decorative sides and pearl necklace.

As I mentioned, the Smooth Lover is made of 100% silicone which means it is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. This makes the Smooth Lover good for most people unless you’ve specifically got a silicone allergy. The silicone is very easy to care for and clean. You can wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap, use your favorite toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it. As an added bonus, because there are no electrical parts, you can boil the Smooth Lover for 3-5 minutes to sterilize it as well. Doing this will allow you to safely and responsibly share your Smooth Lover with a non-fluid bonded partner. It will also allow you to go from anal to vaginal play if you so desire. However, if you are going to use the Smooth Lover anally, be very careful and keep a firm grip as there is not much of a flange to keep it from slipping inside your anus completely. Due to this, I do not use it anally.

As the Smooth Lover is silicone, you want to use water-based lubricant with it. Silicone-based lubes can react with the silicone of the dildo leaving it tacky which would be most unpleasant. If you have your heart set on using a silicone-based lubricant with this dildo, use a high quality silicone lube and do a test patch at the base of the dildo to make sure there is no negative reaction.

Smooth Lover Dildo

Smooth Lover Dildo

Smooth Lover Dildo

Smooth Lover Dildo

One cool thing about the Smooth Lover is that is has a suction cup at its base. This is my first suction cup dildo and I am thoroughly impressed. It sticks to everything, the shower wall, my bedside table, my MacBook Pro, even my forehead. That’s right, I can be a dildo unicorn if I want. This suction cup will allow you to ride the Smooth Lover basically anywhere you can stick it. Granted, I’m probably a bit tame in the way I use it and I do tend to use it more for thrusting, but you can be as creative as you like.

Where there is no design the Smooth Lover is very smooth and soft. The solid silicone is firm with little give and has no scent or taste. There is a seam down the front and back of the dildo that I can easily feel with my fingers. However, I do not feel this seam with the Smooth Lover inside me. Nor do I feel the scroll work which is raised. It’s just not enough of a difference in texture for me to feel it. The Smooth Lover is a straight dildo and as such really does not hit my g-spot. As I mentioned above, I mostly use this dildo for thrusting as I’m not much of a ride ‘em cowgirl type. There is a little drag with the Smooth Lover but it doesn’t require a huge amount of lubricant.

The Smooth Lover is 6″ long, with almost all of that being insertable, and 1.25″ in diameter. I find it to be on the smaller side girth-wise. I tend to prefer thicker dildos most of the time, but at times during my cycle a thick toy can be too much. This dildo is comfortable during those times. It also does not require warm up and needs less lube than my thicker dildos.

The packaging of the Smooth Lover is quite simple. It comes in a box with a cutout on the front that shows the dildo. There is some very basic information on the back in six languages. Inside the box the Smooth Lover rests in a plastic clam shell. There is small instruction manual that also displays Ophoria’s line of sex toys. It is very basic and gives directions for their vibrating toys as well. The packaging is recyclable and definitely takes up more room than the dildo so you’re probably better off storing it in some sort of toy bag or ziploc bag. You want to keep your toys from touching so there are no negative chemical reactions.

Smooth Lover Pros:
• Silicone
• Suction cup
• Comfortable
• Requires minimum lubricant
• Not a lint magnet
• Pretty

Smooth Lover Cons:
• Not very girthy

The Smooth Lover is a pretty little dildo that appeals to me aesthetically. I’m not a huge fan of realistic dildos so I like the color and the designs. I especially like that pearl choker. I like the feel of the Ophoria silicone. It has little drag, is nice and smooth, and does not attract lint and dust, which is always a bonus with silicone. I like the suction cup. It’s just fun to stick the Smooth Lover to things. However, it really is useful if you are a rider because it sticks and stays very well. I do tend to prefer my dildos be girthier, but it’s nice to have a dildo that is less girthy once in a while and I think the Smooth Lover will definitely be good for those who don’t like their dildos so thick. Overall, this is a solid dildo that I can strongly recommend. You can check out the Smooth Lover at MyPleasure.
