Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator Review

About a month ago, Lovehoney released a handful of new vibrators in the Tracey Cox line. At that time I posted a Spotlight about the new Tracey Cox dare! Sex Toys. As I am always curious about new products, I was hoping I would have an opportunity to review one of these vibrators and Lovehoney was kind enough to make that happen. Considering I have been suffering a great deal of neck and back pain recently, I decided to go with the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator, as I was hoping it would handle double duty as both a massager for my back/neck and a pleasure object.

Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator

The Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator is part of the dare! line of sex toys from Tracey Cox. This line of vibrators is meant to focus mainly on toys that can be used by couples. These toys were designed by bestselling sex author, Tracey Cox, hence the name.

Made from ABS, the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager contains no latex or phthalates, making it body-safe. The silky smooth plastic material is compatible with both water-based and silicone-based lubricants. It can also be used with massage oil to enhance a body massage. This particular ABS is super smooth and sleek and slides along my skin with no drag at all, so oil is not a necessity but can certainly add to the massage experience. The Power Massager is splash proof, so it can be easily washed with warm water and antibacterial soap or a sex toy cleaner. However, it is not waterproof so do not submerge it.

At 10.5″ in circumference, the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager fits very comfortably in the palm of my hand. The round shape with the indented button makes holding onto it during use very easy. The button must be pressed very firmly in order to power the vibrator on and off, as well as to cycle through the different modes. This means that it is very unlikely you will accidentally press the button. It has great feedback and makes a fairly loud clicking sound when pressed.

With its one button, the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator is simple to use for newbies and experienced users alike. You turn the vibrator on by pressing the large button once and continue pressing the button to cycle through the different modes. To turn off the Power Massager you hold the button down for approximately two to three seconds. The only challenge I find with the power button is my own issue. I have rather long nails, and because the button is indented it is a bit difficult to press it. People with shorter nails are not likely to have this problem. The Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager has three levels of intensity and three vibrational patterns, as follows:
1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High steady vibration
4. Ramp up
5. Three short pulses, one long
6. Medium pulses

The Power Massager is somewhat loud, though not horrible, especially for a massager. It is not as powerful as I was expecting, though it is not weak either. It’s about mid-range as far as power goes. It will be plenty for some and not at all enough for others. The vibrations themselves are also mid-range, not very deep and rumbly, but not buzzy either. The vibrations are really not strong nor deep enough to penetrate my muscles, but I may not be the best test subject, as I have chronic pain. It is certainly enough to create a relaxing sensation, especially when being used by a partner who can provide more pressure with the massager than I can on my own.

I like the design of the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager very much, but I find it more effective as a massager than a vibrator. Though I find the strength of the vibrations to be sufficient, they are too diffuse to bring me to orgasm due to the shape of the Power Massager. Diffuse vibrations are great when massaging a large area, like the back, but they do not provide enough direct stimulation to my clit. However, I discovered that these diffuse vibrations are pretty great for nipple stimulation, which is an unexpected bonus. At 8.5 ounces, I find the Power Massager to be slightly heavy for longer periods of use, but my Fibromyalgia has been seriously acting up so most people probably won’t find it overly heavy. It may not be the best option for people with carpal tunnel or other hand and wrist disorders.

The packaging of the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager is simple. The exterior consists of a cardboard sleeve with a window through which you can see the vibrator. There is an image of a woman on the front and back of this sleeve. I am assuming the woman is Tracey Cox, the designer of this vibrator. Considering it’s a massager, someone unfamiliar with sex toys may stumble across the box without raising an eyebrow. However, I do not find the packaging very discreet and think many people would know it is also a sex toy. Once you remove the sleeve, you’ll find the Power Massager held in place by cardboard. Underneath this cardboard is a little user guide with basic information about the toy. The packaging is sufficient and can be used for storage, though it is not that sturdy and will take up more room than the Power Massager on its own.

Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator Pros:
• Great nipple stimulation
• Fits comfortably in hand
• Button has good feedback and does not allow for accidental pushing
• Silky, smooth plastic
• Can be used with all types of lubricants
• Can be used with massage oil
• Easy to open and close for battery insertion

Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator Cons:
• Long nails hinder the ease of pressing the button
• Does not bring me to orgasm
• On the heavy side

I love sex toys that can serve multiple functions and the Tracey Cox dare! Power Massager Vibrator does just that, though not in the way I expected. I thought it would serve both as a massager and a clit stimulator, but as I mentioned above, the clit stimulation isn’t super effective for me. To be fair, it provides a fair amount of tease, but I do need another vibrator to actually orgasm. I really like the nipple stimulation it provides and wish I could find something similar in an actual nipple clamp or something along those lines. Using the Power Massager on my nipples with another vibrator on my clit is fairly awesome. As a massager, I find it about average. It is not meant to provide a deep tissue massage, but more of a stimulating erotic massage, and it is capable of doing so.

The ABS is particularly silky and smooth and feels great sliding along my skin, making massage without oil totally feasible and comfortable. I do have trouble holding onto it for long periods of time, but that is very likely due to my current health status rather than the Power Massager actually being too heavy. Overall, it has some very nice features and should please many users.

iGino One Personal Massager Review

A few months ago I wrote a Spotlight on the iGino One Personal Massager. At the time it was still being funded on indiegogo. The indiegogo campaign ended, and though the iGino One is not yet on the market, I was lucky enough to receive one in advance of the general release.

iGino One Vibrator

The iGino One is a small rectangular box 4″ long, approximately 2.75″ wide, and a little over .5″ thick that looks very much like an iPhone. It is made of pink and white ABS, and though pink is usually not my favorite color, I really like the look of the iGino One. Then again, I am an iPhone user so that makes sense. The top of the iGino One comes completely off, exposing the little pink ABS nub, the part of the toy that is used to stimulate the clit (or nipples).

In my Spotlight, I wrote that the pink nub was made of ethylene vinylacetate (EVA). However, now that I have the iGino One in hand I can see the nodule is made of ABS, and there is a little, light pink, oblong ring at the base of it that I assume is made of EVA. There are also three additional rings included in the box, as well as a larger, squashy, flower-like attachment. There is no information in the packaging regarding the use of these accessories. The flower-like attachment fits over the nodule to provide a different stimulation. The extra rings are collars designed to protect the movement area between the nodule and the hard body of the iGino One, and are to be used when one wears out. I am assuming these collars will basically tear off when they need to be replaced and you can just stretch a new one on over the nodule as they are super flexible.

One great thing about a sex toy made from ABS is that you can use either water-based or silicone-based lubricants with it. I really like this versatility. EVA can also be used with either type of lube so you needn’t worry about getting lubricant on the iGino One’s little rings or flower attachment.

iGino One Personal Massager, Front

iGino One Personal Massager, Size

iGino One Personal Massager

iGino One Personal Massager, EVA Attachment

As the iGino One is made from ABS, it can either be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap or a sex toy cleaner. Normally, you can use alcohol with toys made from ABS, but I don’t know how this would effect the EVA rings, so I wouldn’t risk it. The iGino One is splash proof, not waterproof, so do not immerse it in water and take care when cleaning it. I am uncertain as to how porous the EVA material is and have not been able to find out much about it, but it looks and feels like a porous substance so I would not share the iGino One with non-fluid bonded partners.

The iGino One is a rechargeable sex toy and is charged via USB, which I love. The USB connector folds out of the bottom of the iGino One and plugs either directly into your computer or USB hub. The iGino One also comes with a USB cable and two plugs (one for the EU and for the U.S.) to allow it to charge off of AC power. According to the included charging information, a full charge requires 12 hours charging time, but an eight hour charge should be enough for a single session. Apparently, a 12 hour charge will provide up to 40 minutes of play time. I find this ratio somewhat unimpressive compared to some of my other rechargeable sex toys. It takes me about an hour to charge my iPhone and that lasts me all day. Granted, it’s not using as much power as a vibrating sex toy, but still… When charging, the USB stick and LED in the corner of the iGino One lights up a delightful violet color. This light never seems to turn off to let you know the iGino One is fully charged so you probably want to have an idea of how long you’ve been charging it.

iGino One vibraMoove

The way the iGino One works is unique. It combines both a vibration and a side to side movement in what it calls its vibraMoove technology. This vibraMoove technology is somewhat similar to the oscillation of the Eroscillator. It really isnt the same but it is the closest comparison I can make. The vibraMoove is controlled by an on/off switch on the side of the iGino One. It has just the one setting and one level of intensity. This setting is loud, much louder than I expected. It’s not Hitachi loud but it does require music or TV to cover the noise. The iGino One is also quite strong. It’s not totally comparable to other vibrators as it depends on more than just vibration, but it is definitely powerful. When I use it, I cannot press it fully against my clit because it is just too strong. Based on this, the iGino One might be an excellent choice for those who need a ton of power to orgasm.

iGino One, Nodule

iGino One, On/Off Button

iGino One, USB

iGino One, EVA Attachments

Speaking of using the iGino One, you’re probably wondering how I feel about it. After charging it and turning it on the first time, I was surprised by its power and began to think I would find it too strong, and therefore, not like it. I tend to find vibrators with only one level of intensity either too weak or too strong. However, I find I can actually change the intensity based on how I use the iGino One. I am able to lessen the impact of the power by not pressing the nodule firmly against my clit. This allows me to fully enjoy it rather than tossing it to the side for being too strong.

The vibraMoove provides a significantly different sensation from a standard vibrator. The addition of the side to side movement really adds to the vibration to create a unique and very enjoyable experience. I find that I like it more and more each time I use it. The use of the EVA flower attachment also adds to the sensation of the vibraMoove. As iGino claims, it is soft and lifelike. It feels smooth against my clit, but there is some drag, as there is with skin. I definitely prefer it to the ABS nodule on its own. The only annoying thing about the EVA flower-like attachment is that the cover does not fit over it, so you must remove it to put the cover on.

As I mentioned above, the iGino One is reminiscent of an iPhone. Well, the packaging is almost the exact same as the iPhone as well. The box is stylish and discrete. There are no images of the iGino One on it, nor are there words like “vibrator” or “massager”. You can feel relatively comfortable leaving it laying around. Inside the box, the iGino One sits in a plastic tray exactly like the one in my iPhone box. Underneath the tray are the accessories. The iGino One comes with two plugs, one for the EU and one for the US. It also comes with a USB cable that allows you to use these plugs. Also included in the box are a black velvet storage bag, several additional EVA rings and an EVA flower-like attachment, and a safety instructions pamphlet, with some very basic information about charging the iGino One.

iGino One Personal Massager Pros:
• Unique vibraMoove sensation
• Powerful
• Soft smooth EVA attachment
• USB/AC rechargeable
• Can use water or silicone-based lubricant
• Storage bag

iGino One Personal Massager Cons:
• Only one level of intensity
• Not much included information on the product
• Poor charging to use time ratio
• Loud
• Cover does not fit over flower attachment

Of course, I was hoping I would like the iGino One when I first discovered its existence. However, I did not expect I would like it so much. The vibraMoove technology provides a unique sensation that I find very enjoyable. The strength of the vibration and movement is surprisingly powerful for such a small sex toy, and will be pleasing to many people. Though I would prefer the iGino One to have more than one level of intensity, I am able to adjust pressure to control that. So while it’s not ideal, it’s forgivable. I love that it’s rechargeable and can be charged multiple ways. I do think it requires an awfully long charge time for a relatively short play time, which is not wonderful, and it is far too loud for its size. I would also like additional information about the materials and what the heck I’m supposed to do with those EVA rings. That being said, while the iGino One is not perfect, it is impressive. Though I do not yet know what the price point will be, I highly recommend picking up an iGino One as soon as it’s released, which is supposed to be by the end of this month. This is not a hard date so be sure to head over to the iGino One website to give them your email so you will be notified when it launches.

You can also check out the iGino One on a number of social media outlets.

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Review

Over the past few weeks I have reviewed the Jopen KEY Charms Plush Mini Vibrator and the Jopen KEY Vela Massager. I mentioned that a third review was in the works, thanks to Jopen being kind enough to send me three vibrators from their new KEY line. This week, we’ll be taking a look at the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator.

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator

As I mentioned above, the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator is part of the new Jopen KEY line, and like the other sex toys in this line, it is made of ABS and silicone. In the case of the Io (which reminds me of the Io Valley on Maui), the vibrator itself is made of ABS, while the two changeable sleeves are made of silicone. The silicone of the sleeves is sleek and smooth and does not collect lint like many of my silicone sex toys, which I greatly appreciate. While it is smooth and silky, it is still important to use lubricant for increased slipperyness. When using the silicone sleeves, you want to stick with a water-based lubricant as silicone-based lubes can react negatively with the silicone sleeves. Technically, you can use a silicone-based lubricant if you are using the Io on its own without either of the sleeves, but I wouldn’t risk it. If you don’t get every speck of silicone-based lube off the vibrator, you could damage the inside of the silicone sleeve when it comes into contact with the lubricant.

The video below provides a snapshot of the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator.

The Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator runs on one AA battery, which is not included. To insert this battery, twist the base of the Io counterclockwise and it pops right off. Insert the battery positive end down. When you open the battery compartment of the Io, you will see an o-ring which ensures the vibrator is waterproof. Just be sure you firmly reattach the battery compartment cover before exposing the Io to water. As it is waterproof, the Io Mini Vibrator is easy to clean. You can use any sex toy cleaner, or just wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap, like I do. Remove and wash the sleeves separately to make sure they are totally clean.

Certainly something I would classify as an external vibrator, the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator is 4.25″ ling with a diameter of 1″. Yes, you can insert it vaginally, which may be nice for some users, especially beginners. However, do not insert the Io anally. It has no flared based and its shape is perfect for disappearing up into the anal canal and being very difficult to retrieve. Just don’t do it.

The Io Vibrator is very easy to use, also a benefit for people new to sex toys. At the base of the Io is a stainless alloy button, which gives the vibrator a touch of class in looks. Press this button once to turn the Io on. Press it again to cycle through the five different modes. To turn the Io off, press and hold the button for approximately two seconds. Easy, peasy. Unlike both the KEY Charms Plush and the KEY Vela, which have the same stainless alloy button, this particular button is a bit too easy to press. The buttons on the other vibrators require enough pressure that I don’t turn them on or change modes accidentally. The button on the Io is a hair trigger, so this does happen occasionally. It certainly isn’t the end of the world and may just be my specific Io. It is, however, an excellent reason not to store the Io with the battery inside. It will very likely get turned on accidentally in storage and drain the battery, as well as making odd noises.

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator, with Smooth Sleeve

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator, Size

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator, without Sleeves

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator, Sleeves

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator, Base

Like the Charms Plush, the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator has five modes of vibration. There is a helpful visual of these patterns in the instruction manual. They are as follows:
1. High- steady vibration
2. High 2- very fast pulse
3. Tease- ramp up
4. Pulse- slow pulse
5. Throb- two long pulses three short

The vibrations of the Io are surprisingly strong for a battery-operated clit vibrator. This is likely due to the AA battery, rather than an N or even a AAA. While not silent, they are also quiet enough to use underneath some heavy blankets without making too much of a racket in the room. However, and this is a big however, the vibrations are buzzy. They are not so buzzy they’re painful and I can orgasm with them, but they are not the deep and rumbly vibrations I really prefer. This makes using the KEY Io Mini Vibrator much less pleasurable than I hoped. While I very much appreciate the Io’s changeable sleeves, it is a challenge for me to get past the vibrations. On a positive note, I really like the Io’s textured sleeve. I would prefer to have the raised nubs on the tip of the sleeve, rather than just a strip around it, but I do like texture against my clit. I also appreciate the slickness of the Io’s silicone.

The packaging of the Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator is the same as the KEY Charms Plush and the KEY Vela. The external box corresponds with the color of the vibrator, in this case purple. It slides off to reveal the black box underneath. Both boxes have basic information on them and neither one is particularly discreet. The external box has an image of the Io and the internal box calls it a massager, so it’s pretty obvious it’s a vibrator. The black box has a window that opens outward to provide access to the Io and its two sleeves which sit securely in black foam. Underneath the foam is the instruction manual, warranty information, and black satin storage back. The instruction manual is simple and easy to understand, perfectly appropriate for someone new to sex toys. For some weird reason, the paper has a very strong, unpleasant odor. Odd, as the silicone sleeves have only a minimal scent when I hold them right up to my nose.

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Packaging, Back

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Packaging, Internal Box Front

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Packaging, Contents

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Pros:
• Changeable sleeves
• Different patterns
• Easy to use
• Silicone
• Waterproof
• Good price point
• Storage bag

Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator Cons:
• Buzzy vibrations
• Only one level of intensity
• Button a little too easy to push

The Jopen KEY Io Mini Vibrator certainly has some strong points. It provides different textures, is easy to use, is waterproof, and is reasonably priced. I really appreciate a sex toy that gives me multiple options, so the two sleeves, along with the sleekness of the ABS is a definite benefit to the Io. One sleeve is a simple, smooth silicone while the other has some raised bumps for texture. The thing is, with the ABS being totally smooth, the smooth silicone sleeve seems unnecessary to me. I would have preferred another textured sleeve as a different option. Granted, there is a different sensation between the silicone and ABS, but against my clit it’s not hugely noticeable.

As with the KEY Charms Plush, the real issue for me with the Io is the vibrations. While they seem to be a bit less buzzy than the Charms Plush, they are definitely on that end of the spectrum which makes them hard to appreciate. I also really feel this vibrator, as with the the others I’ve tried in the KEY line, needs more than one level of intensity. It’s just too much for me to start off at this level of power. I do want it once I’ve warmed up, but not until I’ve had a chance to do that. It’s too strong for me to use on my nipples, so that’s a bust, and I need to use another vibrator or my fingers to get to the place where my clit can handle the power of the Io. I understand that one level of intensity makes the vibrator simple and easy to use, which is attractive to beginning users, but in my mind it is a design flaw.

Fun Factory Yooo Review

I did a Spotlight a while back on what was then a new Fun Factory toy and I have just been very slow about getting the review done. No, I’m not talking about the new G4 line, though I do love my Paulina. That’s right, yooo guessed it. I’m talking about the Fun Factory Yooo. Ok, bad joke but I couldn’t resist.

Fun Factory Yooo

After all, how could I resist a vibrator that looks like a slightly off-kilter Mickey Mouse? I really love Fun Factory sex toys. They are colorful, creative, made of super plushy silicone, and just plain fun.

The Fun Factory Yooo is an innovative new clit vibrator that fits in the palm of my hand. Its three circles are made of lovely squishy silicone with a small amount of drag and quite a bit of give to them. Its base is plastic and it has two motors, one in each “ear”, with one of the ears being slightly larger than the other. The Yooo is approximately 4 1/4″ long and 2 1/8″ wide. The base is about 6 1/2″ in circumference, with the large ball at 5 1/2″ and the small ball at 4 7/8″ in circumference.

The Yooo is a rechargeable vibrator, which gets a big yay from me. It comes with its charger, packaged in a separate box. The charger connects magnetically to the FUN logo on the bottom of the Yooo. When plugged in and connected, the charger glows red and the base of my Yooo pulses with white light. It’s like a pretty little light show. The charger is supposed to stop glowing red when the Yoo is fully charged though mine doesn’t seem to. However, the same thing happens with my other Click N’ Charge vibes, Bubbles and Paulina, so I don’t consider this a problem. The directions state the first charge may take as long as six hours while subsequent charging will require less and less time. They also inform me that the charge should last 30 minutes of use on the highest level. My first charge lasted approximately 45-50 minutes and cut out right in the middle of play leaving me a very sad girl. So you may want to keep an eye on that. Overall, I find my Yooo lasts about 30-45 minutes on a single charge.

I have not been able to figure out how long it needs to be charged because my Yooo never stops flashing, nor does it give any indication when the charging is complete. However, the toy has what Fun Factory calls the “Magic Touch”. When you touch the base of the Yooo and it lights up, it is all charged up and ready to go. I would assume if you touch it and it doesn’t light up, the Yoo isn’t fully charged but mine always lights up so I don’t really know. As the Yooo charges magnetically, there are no ports, nothing that unscrews, so it is 100% waterproof.

The only downside to the magnetic charger is its tendency to slip off and stop charging. I really need to be sure I have balanced it properly so this doesn’t happen. This happens with my other Click ‘N’ Charge vibrators and I’ve gotten quite good at balancing my Fun Factory chargers!

The base of the Yooo has three buttons, the +, the -, and the *, or the booster button. To turn the Yooo on, press down on the + button for two seconds. To scroll through the (I count) eight levels of straight vibration, from barely there to wowsa, press the + button. Once you’ve reached the highest level of steady vibes, press the button again to enter the first of four patterns. The control panel will actually flash to let you know which pattern you are on. It flashes once for the first pattern, twice for the second, and so on. How. Cool. Is. That. So I know it’s geeky to get all hot and bothered over the flashing control panel but I am, ok? It really doesn’t make a difference when I’m using the Yooo because I can’t see the flashing. I suppose it could help your partner navigate if he or she is driving the vibe. I just think it is damn sexy!

The Fun Factory Yooo patterns are as follows:
1. Roller coaster, alternating between motors
2. Faster version of pattern #1
3. Super fast pulse, both motors
4. Escalating pulse, both motors

Scroll through the four pattern programs using the + button and press the – button to return to steady vibrations. To turn off, scroll down using the – button, then hold for two seconds. The Turbo Booster (labeled with *) adds a serious boost of steady vibratory power whenever you press it. If you just tap it, it’ll boost for a moment. If you press it hard, it’ll boost until you press it again to turn it off. The buttons need to be pressed quite firmly so there is no chance of accidentally pressing one during play. However, it is easy to mix them up as all three buttons feel basically the same, especially when I’m in the moment.

The vibrations are very strong and rumbly, particularly for a vibrator of such small stature. No buzziness to be found here. The shape also means the Yooo works really well as a massager for me, especially on my neck and shoulders which get really sore writing reviews. As a massager the Yooo is a bit loud right near my ears, but as a clit stimulator it really isn’t bad. I can barely hear it under the covers and there is not a chance you can hear it through my closed bedroom door.

Fun Factory silicone is soft and plush, and definitely lint magnet-y. Good thing you’ve got lots of cleansing options. You can use antibacterial soap and warm water, your favorite toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. Do NOT boil your Yooo, nor stick it in the dishwasher or you could kill the dual motors. Silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe, so it is an excellent material for sex toys. Fun Factory recommends using a water-based lubricant with their products, and it’s always best to keep silicone toys from touching each other in storage.

The Yooo comes in the typical red and silver Fun Factory packaging, in a plastic clamshell visible through the box. It is not what I’d call discreet. Included is the ever-present sample of Toy Fluid, Fun Factory’s brand of lubricant, and instructions in multiple languages. Fun Factory does well with it’s packaging but I’d like to see two big changes. I really wish they would include storage bags for their toys as the boxes are just overly large to use for storage. I also wish they would offer a version of their rechargeable toys that does not come with a charger. I would rather buy the charger as a standalone item once than collect multiple chargers, especially as the chargers are universal for the Click N’ Charge line.

So here is where things get weird. I feel kinda meh about my Yooo. For some reason it just leaves me feeling frustrated most of the time. I know I’m in the minority here, so I don’t think it’s the toy. The Fun Factory Yooo is cute, unusual, strong, rechargeable, waterproof. It’s everything I like in a sex toy and yet… It just really doesn’t do it for me. The vibrations are deep and rumbly and I still have trouble getting off with my Yooo. Maybe the frequency is just not quite there for me or the shape is just wrong.

Fun Factory Yooo Pros:
• Strong, rumbly vibrations
• Rechargeable
• Silicone
• Waterproof
• Cute

Fun Factory Yooo Cons:
• Have trouble getting off
• Charger tends to slip off
• Lint magnet

I am trying to love the Yooo. I love all the different aspects of it. I love it in theory. We just haven’t quite clicked. It makes me sad, it really does. Do I give up on my Yooo or keep trying? Every time I look at it I wonder what is wrong with me. Maybe I haven’t been creative enough with it yet. Why don’t I love my Yooo? I have no real answer. However, almost everyone I’ve run across who has shaken hands with a Yooo absolutely loves it.

If you want to join the Yooo lovin’ crowd, you can choose between pink, blue, green, and orange. You can find the Fun Factory Yoo at the following stores:

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Review

Almost two years ago, LELO, a manufacturer of luxury sex toys, came out with a new line of toys targeted for a younger audience. This line is called PicoBong, and during the first round of toys they released, I reviewed the PicoBong Kiki. I was so disappointed in the Kiki that I didn’t bother trying any of the other vibrators in the line. Then last year, Picobong released another set of vibrators. I didn’t know whether or not I wanted to review another PicoBong toy due to my experience with the Kiki, which is why I’ve waited until now to review one. Due to my love of rabbit vibrators, I decided to test out the PicoBong Kaya from SexShop365, and I’m glad I did.

PicoBong Kaya

The PicoBong Kaya is not a typical rabbit vibrator in that the shaft does not rotate and the clit stimulator is not in the shape of an animal. It has a sleek silhouette that I find attractive. At 7.75″ in length, with 5″ being insertable, and a diameter of 1″, the Kaya is suitable for many people. It is neither terribly long nor girthy, so it would be a good choice as a first rabbit for someone less experienced with sex toys.

Made of a soft and smooth silicone, the PicoBong Kaya is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. As it is waterproof, cleaning the Kaya is very easy. I just wash it in the sink with warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a sex toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution to disinfect the silicone. Disinfecting the silicone will allow you to use this vibrator with non-fluid bonded partners.

As the PicoBong Kaya is made of silicone, it is important to use a water-based lubricant with it. Silicone-based lubes can react negatively with the silicone of the vibrator and damage the surface. The silicone of the Kaya is a thin layer over a hard internal shaft. There is absolutely no give. The clit stimulator itself also has a hard interior but is flexible at the base. This allows you to press it against or pull it slightly away from your body if you need to do so. You will need to hold it in the position you want it as it is not actually adjustable and won’t remain at a different angle. I would still be gentle with it as you don’t want to damage the internal wiring. One of the great things about the Kaya is the dual motors. Both the shaft and the clit arm vibrate, together, as well as independently of each other.

The PicoBong Kaya requires the use of two AAA batteries, that are not included with the vibrator. You can get up to two hours of playtime with one set of batteries, depending upon how you use the vibrator. The batteries are easy enough to insert. You just twist the textured, ABS base of the vibrator very slightly and it pops off. There is no unscrewing. Now I may be blind, but I cannot find any indication of which way the batteries need to be inserted. This causes a fair amount of irritation every time I put them in the Kaya because I don’t remember from use to use. However, I do remember to remove the batteries after each use, as you also want to do. For my sanity and yours, this is the correct way to insert the batteries- the battery closest to the clit stimulator is positive side up and the battery furthest away is negative side up. Storing the batteries inside the vibrator can shorten their life and that of the Kaya. While I like that the battery compartment opens easily, I think it’s a bit too easy. I have opened it accidentally more than once while playing with the vibrator, not a great feature.

The control panel of the PicoBong Kaya is a vast improvement over the Kiki’s. Rather than inserting the buttons in the letters imprinted on the side of the vibrator, they are all by themselves on the opposite side. There are also three buttons rather than just two. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, LELO is very good at responding to feedback and adjusting their products as needed. There is a +, -, and M button. These buttons provide good feedback and must be pressed very firmly, so it is unlikely you will change the intensity or pattern by mistake during play. To turn the Kaya on, you press and hold the + button. You can increase the intensity of the vibrations by continuing to press this button. As you may have guessed, you decrease the intensity and turn off the vibrations with the – button. The M cycles through the patterns. I’m guessing “M” is for modes…

PicoBong Kaya Vibration Modes

The image above provides a great visual of the PicoBong Kaya’s seven levels of intensity of steady vibration and 12 different modes. Below is is my description of how they feel to me.

1. Steady vibration in shaft and clit attachment (seven levels of intensity)
2. Steady vibration in shaft only
3. Steady vibration in clit attachment only
4. Slow pulse between shaft and clit attachment
5. Faster pulse between shaft and clit attachment
6. Fastest pulse between shaft and clit attachment
7. Ramp up between shaft and clit attachment
8. Ramp up in shaft and clit attachment
9. Faster version of mode 7
10. Ramp up in shaft with steady vibration in clit attachment
11. Roller coaster between shaft and clit attachment
12. Pattern of pulses between shaft and clit

I really like modes five, six and seven. I think 12 modes is a bit overkill but I’d rather have more than not have any that I like. The downside of having so many patterns is that if you pass the one you want or want to switch to another pattern, you have to scroll through all of them to get back to it. The PicoBong Kaya does not have a memory chip, so it always starts on the lowest level of steady vibration when you turn it on. The vibrations themselves are on the deeper side of the spectrum. They are not the deepest vibrations ever, but they are not at all buzzy. They are also fairly quiet when the Kaya is inside me. You really cannot hear it through heavy covers, so you may be able to use it with your partner sleeping next to you. The vibrations of the PicoBong Kaya are definitely much stronger than those of the Kiki, but they are not as strong as I was expecting. I do generally need to use the vibrator on its highest level of intensity, so it may not be strong enough for everyone. It is not a powerhouse.

Obviously, I was hoping I would like the PicoBong Kaya, but I was surprised by how much I actually ended up liking it. It happens to fit my body very well, which is always the tricky part of a rabbit vibrator. I like the smoothness of the silicone as it slides inside of me. There is very little drag, so it requires much less lubricant than some of my other silicone toys. The hardness of the shaft feels good as I clench down on it, and though I like girthy toys, the lack of thickness does not trouble me with the Kaya for some reason. If I thrust it in a certain way, the curved tip will hit my g-spot. However, it really does not hit my g-spot if I am holding the vibrator inside of me so that the clit attachment lines up with my clit. This is not an issue for me, but it might be for some people. I find it easy to press the buttons to change modes during play, and I am quite fond of some of the patterns. I really do like this vibrator.

The packaging of the PicoBong Kaya is basically the same as the Kiki. It comes in a colored box with a front and side window that matches the color of the vibrator. It is not discreet nor sturdy. The Kaya sits inside a little cardboard indentation that does an ok job of keeping it upright. I do not recommend the box for storage. You’re better off using a ziploc or other sex toy storage bag. Included in the box is the barely there user manual with the most basic of information and the warranty information. The Kaya has a standard one year warranty. Also included in the box is a rubbery charm with the word PicoBong. It looks to me like a zipper pull, but there is actually a notch on the base of the vibrator so you can attach it. I. Don’t. Get. It. Why, PicoBong, why?

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Pros:
• Good shape
• Enjoyable patterns
• Fits my body well
• Easy to reach controls
• Sleek silicone
• Not a lint magnet
• Waterproof

PicoBong Kaya Rabbit Vibrator Cons:
• May not be powerful enough for some
• Many patterns to cycle through
• Battery compartment pops open too easily
• Battery insertion is trial and error

All in all, I am very pleased with my PicoBong Kaya. The vibrations are strong and deep enough to get me off very quickly, and it has some great patterns. I love the smooth silicone and am thrilled that it does not attract lint and dust like many silicone toys. The size, shape, and form suit my body quite well and I find the vibrator easy to use. My only real complaints are the fact that I don’t know how the batteries are meant to go in and how the base of the vibrator pops off a bit too easily. I feel like they could easily fix this problem by adding an extra twist to the base. Still, neither of these are big issues for me. I do acknowledge that the vibrations may not be strong enough for some people but they work for me.

Umm, what is up with the PicoBong charm? It reminds me of the die I received with the PicoBong Kiki. Pointless. I did loop it on the end of the vibrator for kicks but I’m certainly not putting on a zipper or anything like that. I just wish PicoBong would not waste money and resources on these little trifles that do not add anything to the design or function of the toy.

Regardless, this is a solid and simple rabbit vibrator with several good qualities and I think many people will like it. Head over to SexShop365 where you can check out the PicoBong Kaya for yourself.
