Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Review

I have never tried electrical play and I thought it might be interesting, so I wanted to give it try. Enter the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps from FunWares.

Shock-Therapy-Nipple-Clamps

As the name implies, Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are nipple clamps that deliver a mild electric shock to the wearer. Electric play is often used amongst practitioners of BDSM. Depending on the level of electric shock, this type of play can be anything from simple sensation play to extremely painful. I am not one for severe pain. A small amount of discomfort or pain can add to pleasure for me, especially in the heat of the moment, but serious pain is just not my cup of tea. However, I thought some mild shocks might add an interesting element to play.

Well, I was wrong. Yep, even on the mildest setting I found the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps too uncomfortable for me. They are quite comfy to wear but the little shocks were just too much for my body.

So this is how they work. There are two basic components to the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps, the control unit and the clamps themselves. The clamps have a long cord (almost 45″) which plugs directly into the control unit. The control unit has three switches, ON/OFF, SLOW/FAST, and IN/OUT. The ON/OFF switch is actually a dial that allows you to control the power level in small increments and the SLOW/FAST switch controls the speed of the shock pulses. The IN/OUT switch actually allows you to make the control unit the shocker. If you set it to IN, the metal oval in the center of the unit sends out the the electrical current to your hand. The directions state this is good for relaxing tired hands and those with arthritis or carpal tunnel. Not having either disorder, I cannot speak to that statement. I do find it effectively shocky though. Setting the button to OUT allows the current to pass through the Nipple Clamps.

To start using the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps you simply insert the included CR2032 battery, plug the Nipple Clamps into the the control unit, apply them to your or your partner’s nipples, select OUT, select FAST or SLOW, and turn on the control unit. It’s important to keep in mind that you will only feel the Nipple Clamps working when both are clamped on to your nipples. Applying just one will not do the trick.

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are made by Pipedream Products, which is a company located in Southern California that produces its products on China. The packaging is quite basic. The exterior package is a cardboard box with an image on the front of a naked male torso wearing the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps and images of the actual toy on the back. It is not at all discreet. It also says “FETISH” in giant red capital letters all over the box, as the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are part of the Fetish Fantasy Series. If you don’t want people to know you are playing with these, don’t leave the box laying around.

Inside the box is a flimsy plastic tray and lid which contains the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps, control unit, wrist strap, battery, blindfold, and directions. The directions consist of one piece of paper and are quite good. They are in English only. The box is sturdy enough for storage but it’s quite a bit larger than the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps and control unit so it takes up a lot of space. The box is 6.5″ in length x 4.5″ in width x 2.25″ in depth.

As I mentioned, Pipedream has included a blindfold with the Shock Therapy Therapy Nipple Clamps. The blindfold is black and made of a plasticy material on the front and a satiny material on the inside. This is a very cheap and crappy blindfold. I will say it does a decent job at blocking out the light except for just around the nose area, like many blindfolds, but the materials are cheap. It’ll do in a pinch but if you are into sensation play and like to be blindfolded or to blindfold your partner, you very likely want to get something nicer and more luxurious. FunWares carries many blindfold options.

The Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps themselves are made of black plastic with little electrode cushions on the inside. They are soft and comfy and rest lightly on the nipples, with barely any pressure at all. The long almost 45″ cord, gives you or your partner a fair amount of room to move around during play and the nipple clamps are easy to clean, simply wipe down with a damp cloth.

The control unit is 3.25″ long, 1.5″ wide, and 1.5″ thick at its thickest point. It is very lightweight and easy to use. It can be held and manipulated without putting any strain on your wrist, so if you do have arthritis or carpal tunnel I would think the control unit would be comfortable. I do like that a wrist strap is included as well. It’s a thin nylon strap, like that for a small digital camera. It slips easily on and off my wrist with room to spare. Someone with a much larger wrist could certainly wear this wrist strap. My wrist is approximately 6.75″ in circumference, so that should give you an idea.

So how to describe the sensation of the shocks… First off, they are short pulses rather than one long shock. You know when you shuffle across the carpet, touch someone and you shock each other? Well, it’s a bit like that in the extreme. The sensation is sharp and burny. I find it very painful, though I am a bit of a wimp. I do like the bite of a stronger nipple clamp, but the sharp, burning pain of these electric shocks is very unpleasant for me.

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Pros:
• Do a great job shocking
• Compact control unit
• Comfortable Clamps
• Battery included

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Cons:
• Painful (in a bad way)
• Difficult to find battery (for replacement)

I really dislike these nipple clamps. While I love regular nipple clamps and can even enjoy some pain in the right moment, there was nothing at all about the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps I enjoyed. Nonetheless, I do have to say they work well and do what they are meant to do. The nipple clamps themselves are very comfortable to wear, even for beginners, because they don’t apply significant pressure to the nipples. This also means that I can’t use them as regular old nipple clamps because they don’t apply any pressure. However, just because I don’t like them doesn’t mean you won’t.

You can pick up the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps at FunWares, which has really great prices and ships quickly and discreetly. FunWares has a huge variety of here is that one nipple clamps so if electrical play doesn’t do it for you, you are sure to find something else you like. You might consider the One Touch Vibro Nipple Clamps. Check out my review here. To receive 10% off your entire order, use code: FIDDLER at checkout!

I am not sure how to rate the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps. They do a great job, based upon my limited experience in this area, but I really dislike them. Therefore, I am giving them a low rating. After all, it’s about my preferences, right? However, I do want to be clear that if you like this kind of stimulation or you want your partner (or they want you) to suffer pain and discomfort, you will probably really like the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps.

Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps Review

Ever since I saw these O Pleasures Nipple Pinchers I have wanted to try magnetic nipple clamps. Lucky me! I have just had the opportunity to play with a pair of Metal Worx Nipple Clamps from FunWares.

MetalWorxNippleClamps

Metal Worx is a brand new line of metal toys made by Pipedream Products. The Magnetic Nipple Clamps are attractive in design, with bars that pass through the circles. On one end of each bar is a a smaller magnetic bar and on the other end, a clear crystal. They are not the sparkliest crystals I have ever run across, but they do add a bit of shimmer and style. It would be cool if these clamps came with a choice of colors. Who knows, maybe thatg will be in the future.

So the way the Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps work is quite simple. Each clamp consists of a metal circle with a split barbell going through it. Each half of the barbell has a small magnetic bar going through the end that grips the nipple. You place your nipple between these small bars and the magnetic aspect of the metal is what clamps down on your nipple. The downside of this design is the little bars themselves. These little magnetized bars slip through the ends of the larger metal bars but they are not soldered in place. This means they slide around which can make them hard to manage. One of them actually popped out once, and it was a bit of a challenge getting it back in because it kept wanting to stick to the other little magnetized bar.

These Metal Worx Nipple Clamps are a bit tricky to apply by oneself, at least for me. It is easiest to do when your nipples are already hard. It is even easier to have a partner help you put them on. This way they cannot try and snap shut on your nipples during application. I think they might be easier to put on if you have nipples that are larger and stick out more than mine do.

At first I was unimpressed by the Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps because I didn’t seem to feel the pinch very much. However, the better I get at applying them, the better they feel. They also pinch more the longer I wear them, which is more about their tendency to slip off than anything else. This seems to be a disadvantage to the magnetic part of the clamps.

Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps

The great thing about the Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps is they provide a nice pinch without becoming too tight or harsh. I am not a nipple clamp beginner and can probably tolerate more pain than a novice. Nonetheless, I still find these clamps to be quite mild. It is more of a consistent sensation than a very strong one. Of course, the longer you wear the clamps the stronger the sensation gets as the blood cannot reach the tissue in that area. Keep in mind when you remove these Magnetic Nipple Clamps or any nipple clamps in general, you will feel an increase in pain due to the blood rushing back into the tissue. I tend to enjoy this increased sensation right before or during orgasm.

The other thing that happens with the Magnetic Nipple Clamps is that over time, the magnets are pulled closer together and tend to slide closer to the end of my nipples. This could be because I have relatively small nipples. I do not think this would not happen with larger, pokier nipples. This can be more painful or uncomfortable, but the clamps are easy enough to adjust.

I am not sure what kind of metal these Magnetic Nipple Clamps are made from as Metal Worx provides no manual or information on them. They are not solid stainless steel as they are way too light. This makes sense to me. Solid stainless would probably be awfully heavy for nipple clamps and put unnecessary weight on the nipples. The clamps would probably slide off due to their own weight.

While Pipedream does not include documentation with the Metals Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps, they do provide an excellent storage box. This storage box is hard and solid and reminds me of an old camera case that my dad used to have. It has a latch that completely closes the box and keeps it from opening on its own. Inside the box the Magnetic Nipple Clamps rest on a bed of shaped styrofoam in cutouts that fit perfectly. The Clamps themselves arrived in little plastic sleeves in their styrofoam coziness for hygienic purposes. The styrofoam can be removed if you would like to store other items in this box along with your Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps or without them. While I am currently only keeping my Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps in it, I think this case would be a great place to store condoms, as well as other nipple clamps, or small items.

Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps Pros:
• Good looking
• Work well
• Great storage box

Metal Works Magnetic Nipple Clamps Cons:
• Can slip off

I am a bit torn about the Pipedream Metal Worx Nipple Clamps. They are not perfect for me by any means. However, I do like them quite a bit and I am glad I have them. They make for a nice slow ramp-up to get me excited and keep me there. In fact, I was wearing them while writing this review and had to take a break for some play time. I would prefer the little magnetic bars to be soldered on, though I wonder if there is some reason they are not that just has not occurred to me. I think they would work well for both men and women as long you have good-sized nipples.

Nipple Suckers Review

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the newest addition to my collection of what I call my Barbie Sex Toys, Nipple Suckers!

These Nipple Suckers are made in China by California Exotics of smooth and shiny PVC in bright barbie pink. Based on their size, Barbie could probably wear one as a hat. They are much bigger than I was expecting. So much so in fact, I actually laughed out loud when I opened the box and couldn’t stop giggling for the longest time. They look like little Barbie chef hats!

Measuring approximately 2 1/2″ long, 3 1/2″ around the stem, 4 3/4″ around the bulb, with an opening 1″ across, these are quite large Nipple Suckers. Those of you who visit Bean Fiddler frequently may recall I have one pierced nipple. Most of the reviews I’ve read for various nipple sucking products have clearly stated the products do not work with nipple jewelry. Due to the large size of these particular Nipple Suckers I can slip them on right over the barbell in my nipple. Awesome! They are very simple to use. Simply squeeze the bulb between your fingers, press the opening over your nipple, and release. Et voila! Your Nipple Sucker is attached. Alternately, you can press the sucker against your nipple first, then squeeze and release to have the same effect.

Cleaning is a breeze with these Nipple Suckers. However, PVC is porous and cannot be sterilized so if you do use these on more moist areas of your body it is best not to share them with partners. They have no taste and a very slight plastic-y scent that I only smell when I hold them up to my nose. As these Nipple Suckers are made from PVC, it is very possible they contain phthalates. I normally avoid sex toys with phthalates, so I am uncomfortable with this possibility. You may want to take this into account this when purchasing.

As you can see, the California Exotics packaging is simple, and as per usual with them, not very discreet. The Nipple Suckers come in a plastic bag inside a small box. I’m currently storing my Nipple Suckers in their original packaging, but I’m kinda anal that way. You can simply stick them in a ziploc bag and toss them in your toy box.

The purpose of the Nipple Suckers is to suck blood into your nipples and keep it there while you have the suckers on. They seem to work opposite of nipple clamps which clamp down on the tissue disallowing any blood flow until the clamps are removed. By creating a suction on the skin, the nipples engorge with blood to become larger and more sensitive. These Nipple Suckers do a good job of this but leave fairly deep circle impressions around my nipples that last for much longer than the nipple engorgement. These marks last approximately 45-60 minutes on me. So if I want to plump up my nipples to surprise My Man, he’ll know exactly what I did. There’s nothing essentially wrong with the indentations, they’re just not super pretty. I was wondering if there would be any bruising with these Nipple Suckers and I’m pleased to say I have not experienced any.

There are no directions, thus no guidance on how long to wear or not wear these Nipple Suckers, so I’m going with 10-15 minutes in one sitting, at least on my nipples. You can certainly use these Nipple Suckers elsewhere and I have just for the hell of it. (They make pretty patterns on my skin.) If you’ve ever had cupping done, you’ll have somewhat of a sense of how these Nipple Suckers feel on the body, though these are much milder. While they are on the large side, they do work on my clit and I think I even prefer using them this way. The suction feels pretty amazing, I love how how my clit pulses when it’s sucked inside the sucker and how sensitive it is afterward.

Though it does not feel like someone is sucking on my nipples, there is definitely a distinct suction sensation when the Nipple Suckers are applied. Sometimes it’s actually uncomfortable after just two to three minutes. Other times I can easily tolerate 10 minutes. I usually don’t mind the discomfort and at times even enjoy it. It can be reminiscent of nipple clamps without the bite, and nowhere near as painful. Keep in mind that I like nipple clamps so I generally want a certain amount of sensation from my nipple toys.

I do find I am excited and distracted to a degree when I’m wearing these Nipple Suckers. They certainly make me more aware of my nipples. They also do make my nipples more sensitive once the suckers have come off. After wearing the Nipple Suckers for 10-15 minutes, the increased size and sensitivity last for approximately 15 minutes. Using the Nipple Suckers on and off throughout the day does help to create an overall increased sensitivity for me.

These Nipple Suckers are way too large for me to wear them under clothing. They do stay on when I’m walking around topless (or bottomless), however, they come off very easily when bumped. There is no way they will stay on me during partner play.

Nipple Suckers Pros:
• Multiple uses
• Provides moderate suction
• Easy to use
• Fits over piercings
• Price

Nipple Suckers Cons:
• May contain phthalates
• Deep impressions on the skin

I like these Nipple Suckers but I don’t love them, and I really wish they were made of safer materials. I’m just not comfortable with the idea they may contain phthalates. While they are a strong product, the suction doesn’t do as much for me as I had expected. That is my issue, not a problem with the suckers. They are simple, easy to use, and pack a good amount of suction into into their pink barbie hats. I would have given these Nipple Suckers three beans, but because of the materials I’m subtracting one.

One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps Review

Happy Valentine’s Day one and all! For Valentine’s we’ll be discussing a cute set of pink vibrating nipple clamps. How apropos!

I have been wanting new vibrating Nipple Clamps forever. Along came the One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps which are wireless vibrating nipple clamps made by California Exotic Novelties and sold by FunWares.

As with most California Exotics products, these Nipple Clamps are made in China. Each clamp is 3 1/2″ long and approximately 1 1/2″ in circumference. They are extremely lightweight so they don’t pull much on my nipples while I’m wearing them. The vibrating bulb of each clamp is made of pink plastic, with a push button to turn the vibrating motor on and off. The bulbs attach to the metal clamps which have a soft, jelly-like rubber pad to soften the grip of the clamps. This makes them comfortably smooth against my nipples without lessening the bite. However, there clamps with actual teeth out there if that’s what you’re looking for. One Touch Micro Vibro Clamps are a kinder, gentler breed for your clamping pleasure. You can easily control the strength of each Nipple Clamp by adjusting the little screw bars. This causes them to clamp harder or lighter depending upon where you set the screws.

The One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps use the teeniest watch batteries in the world, LR41, which I expect may be difficult to find. Each Nipple Clamp requires two batteries and California Exotics has thoughtfully included eight batteries for your vibrating pleasure. Kudos!

My One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps have a little glitch and tend to turn themselves on all by themselves. However, they must be turned off manually, which more important to me. They are just eager little beavers who are ready to work, I suppose. Normally I recommend removing the batteries from your sex toys before storage. These batteries are so tiny I simply flip them over inside the compartment so the contacts are facing the wrong the way. This way there is no power leakage and I don’t worry about losing them.

As is common with California Exotic products, the packaging is simple and graphic. The plastic clamshell can be used for storage, but simply popping them in a small plastic ziploc bag is probably easier and certainly will take up less space. The One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps are easy to clean. Simply wipe down with a damp cloth, paper towel or a toy wipe. Be sure not get the motor area or battery compartment wet. These vibrating nipple clamps are not waterproof.

The vibrations given off by the One Touch Micro Vibro Clamps are very high-pitched and buzzy which I find just dandy for nipple stimulation. Though my nipples are very sensitive, I could do with a stronger vibration to really titillate my nipples. As the vibration is moderate, it seems to get swallowed up in the sensation from the clamping. When I hold the vibrating buds to my nipples, it feels so good I get wet almost instantly. When my nipples are clamped, my eyes roll back in my head. I was just expecting a bit more from both sensations.

One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps Pros:
• Great Size
• Adjustable
• Price
• Comes with batteries

One Touch Micro Vibro Nipple Clamps Cons:
• Difficult to find batteries

I like these Nipple Clamps. As clamps they serve their purpose well and are appropriate for beginning as well as advanced players, as you can adjust the severity of clamping. I wanted vibrating Nipple Clamps without a cord and the One Touch Micro Vibro Clamps are great in size, shape, and adjustability. These Nipple Clamps are convenient and easy to use and would be a great choice for many people.

If you spend some time on the site, you’ll see FunWares has really great prices on their products. They also offer discreet shipping and most orders ship the same day, which is super fast! So check out FunWares and pick up some One Touch Micro Vibro Clamps today!

Vibrating Pleasure Pump Review

The Vibrating Pleasure Pump from Good Vibrations is combination suction and vibration toy.

The Vibrating Pleasure Pump is made from a combination of plastic, TPR, and rubber. Fortunately, the only rubber is the bulb you use to pump the suction. The body is hard plastic with a flexible rubber neck and power button. It’s 7 1/2″ long and 1 3/4″ in diameter. It comes with two TPR suction sleeves that are 2″ long and 1 1/2″ wide. One sleeve has “titillating pleasure nubs” and the other is plain. The plastic tubing is about 15″ long. The rubber bulb is 3 1/4″ long, 1 1/2″ in diameter, and has raised hearts on it. The colors and design of the Pleasure Pump are cute and feminine without being overly girly. The materials used are phthalate-free and body safe, and the rubber should cause no problems for people without sensitivities as this is not an insertable sex toy. The box states that the Vibrating Pleasure Pump is waterproof. However, I think it’s more water-safe for cleaning. The little scrap of directions it comes with clearly show you should dip the the TPR sleeve in water rather than stick it under running water. I suggest removing the sleeve, which is very easy to do, and washing it under water. Then just wipe down the handle with a damp cloth or a sex toy wipe.

The Vibrating Pleasure Pump is easy to use once you get the hang of the suction, which is mostly placement. Place the suction sleeve firmly over the area you to suck and squeeze the ball to pump the air. It’s a bit like a a blood pressure cuff. I feel the suction immediately. I get about three pumps in before the bulb can’t suck anymore air into the tubing. When you want to release the air, you can press the little plastic heart button or simply pull the suction sleeve away from your body.

This is the first time I’ve used a pump and it’s an interesting experience. I find I get more suction from the pleasure nub sleeve than I do from the flat sleeve. I also find I get more suction on my nipples than on my clit. I’m sure that’s just the way I’m built. It could very likely be different for someone else. The suction feels like someone sucking on my nipple or clitoral area without the slimy wetness. I’ve discovered I really enjoy the suction but I wish I could get a stronger sensation with this this pump. The suction hasn’t really been enough to create increased sensitivity, as I was hoping, but perhaps I am impatient. I may need to use the suction for longer periods of time before the sensitivity kicks in.

One downside is that I really need to hold the suction cup in place even after suction has been achieved. I’d like to be able to let go but as soon as I do, it falls off…which is one of the reasons I’d prefer a stronger suction. I also find the Vibrating Pleasure Pump to be a rather weak vibrator. As it is a rather buzzy, high-pitched vibrator, the lack of strength is good. It doesn’t numb me out and makes for a good warm up. I find myself returning to the Vibrating Pleasure Pump for my nipples rather than my clit, so having two heads would be an added bonus.

Vibrating Pleasure Pump Pros:
• Both vibration and suction
• Quiet

Vibrating Pleasure Pump Cons:
• Not the strongest suction or vibration
• Not hands-free

I really enjoy the combination of suction and vibration on my nipples. However, I wish I could let go once the suction is in place and I’d really like more power from this toy. This would work well for someone who is looking for softer suction with a vibration component. I love the idea of this sex toy, but it doesn’t work as well for me in practice. It just sort of misses the mark.

However, the Vibrating Pleasure Pump may float your boat. So check it or the many other cool sex toys out at Good Vibrations.
