I know I write about LELO products a lot. In fact, just recently I reviewed the LELO Isla from EdenFantasys. Apart from a one issue I had with the vibrator (granted it was a semi big deal), I really liked it. In fact, I like most of my LELO products. They make such high quality toys. Comparing size and weight, it would seem the LELO Luna Beads Noir are designed for women who are slightly more advanced with their kegel work and who find the longer length of the original Luna Beads uncomfortable. The Luna Beads Noir are 3″ in length compared to the original set’s 3 1/2″ length. This may not seem like a big difference but an additional 1/2″ inside you can make all the difference in the world. The Luna Beads Noir are only 1″ in diameter, making them smaller than the original set’s 1 3/8″ diameter and even the Luna Mini Beads’ diameter of 1 1/8″. This will also tend to make them more comfortable for some women who might find larger vaginal balls too big for comfort. During my trip to ANE I had the opportunity to pick up a brand new toy unlike anything I’ve yet to see. It’s called the G-Spot Lollipop.

The G-Spot Lollipop is made by a small company based in Northern California, and you all know how I love to give shout-outs to local companies. The product is an interesting looking g-spot stimulator that comes in a variety of styles. There is the small Travel Pop that can easily be carried in your purse, the Single Pop, the Double Pop, and the J-Pop. It was difficult to decide which Lollipop to select, they each seem to have their strong points. I love unusual toys, so I went with the the J-Pop which is the weirdest looking of the bunch. I also wanted the one that would be easiest to use by myself and the helpful G-Spot Lollipop Girls recommended the J-Pop.

The G-Spot Lollipop J-Pop is a long steel rod, shaped like a J, with a ball on either end. It is 6 1/4″ wide and is a bit interesting to store. The balls are different sizes. The smaller ball is 5 1/2″ in circumference and 1 3/4″ in diameter, and the larger ball is 6 1/4″ and just under 2″ in circumference. The steel bar is surgical quality stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic and body-safe, and secured to each of the acrylic balls. The G-Spot Lollipops all carry a lifetime replacement guarantee, which is pretty sweet. I cannot imagine how it would be necessary though. This thing is pretty damn sturdy.

The G-Spot Lollipop comes in a variety of fun and bright colors, just like the candy, which is great. Seeing them all together is a feast for the eyes. I just love my sex toys to be pretty. My U-Pop is Wild Apple, an almost neon green. It is bright and cheerful which I really like.

I first tried the G-Spot Lollipop J-Pop with the smaller ball inside me. The ball slid right in and curled under my pelvic bone, up against my g-spot. Using the larger ball as a handle I was able to easily manipulate the smaller ball and rub it against my g-spot with a small rocking motion. I think it must be the spherical shape, but that ball rests in just the right place and does not go anywhere. I don’t need the to do the typical thrusting action that I normally use with most of my g-spot toys which saves wear and tear on my wrist and arm.

Now, I also love the larger ball inside me but it creates a bit of a snag. Putting the larger ball inside makes the smaller ball on its longer stem the handle and this length is less comfortable and not as easy to work with. It places the ball further up my body, which just makes it more difficult to manipulate. The smaller ball also does not fit my hand as well as the larger ball does.

One of the G-Spot Lollipop Girls told me she uses one of the straight Lollipops during intercourse. As the steel bar is so thin, she can insert the ball and keep it against her g-spot while her partner enters her. I have not tried this with the J-Pop, which might be a bit trickier, but she highly recommended it.

The other way I have been using the G-Spot Lollipop is as a kegelcisor. I simply grip the ball with my kegel muscles or pull on the handle if I want a more difficult exercise. This works really well.

The G-Spot Lollipop did not come with any particular packaging. The acrylic balls were shrink-wrapped in plastic to protect them, with coordinating ribbons tied on, but this may be because I got my Lollipop at ANE. I am not sure what the packing is like when you order directly from the company.

Clean up is easy with the G-Spot Lollipop. It is completely waterproof so I simply wash it in the sink with antibacterial soap and water. Of course, you can always use your favorite toy cleaner. As the balls are acrylic, I would also feel safe wiping them down with rubbing alcohol to kill off any bacteria. You can use any type of lubricant with the G-Spot Lollipop, though as usual I use water-based lube.

Truthfully, I was not expecting that much from the G-Spot Lollipop J-Pop. I was more curious than anything. With it being so unusual looking how could I resist the opportunity to test drive it? While it is larger and more difficult to store than the other G-Spot Lollipops, I like how the J-Pop curves around. There are many kegel balls on the market, but the Je Joue Ami is unique. It is a set of three kegel balls of varying weights and sizes designed to help you train your PC muscle by working up from the Ami 1 to the Ami 3.

Je Joue Ami kegel balls are simply gorgeous. They are coated with a very soft, smooth silicone that is velvety to the touch in a beautiful smoky plum color. The retrieval cord is made of a stretchy silicone in a lighter purple color and is attached to the Ami balls with a light purple hard plastic. It’s truly wonderful the retrieval cords of the Je Joue Ami are silicone. One thing that has kept me from purchasing kegel balls in the past has been nylon cords which can harbor bacteria. The silicone and hard plastic are both phthalate-free and non-porous, so no little bacteria can hide anywhere. As you can sterilize silicone, you can theoretically share your Je Joue Ami with your girlfriends, but I’ve a feeling you’ll want to keep them all to yourself. I know my cleaning instructions for silicone say it is boilable. However, Je Joue’s instructions say to boil the Ami balls for a maximum of 20 seconds, so please bear this in mind.

I find very little drag with the silicone of the Je Joue Ami balls and rarely use lubricant with them. If you do, be sure to use water-based lubricant as silicone-based lubes may interact with and damage the delightfully silky plum silicone of the Je Joue Ami.
 
  
 
As with other Je Joue products, the Ami packaging is lovely. First is the outer box with the words “Je Joue” and the logo on the front and images of the Ami balls on the side. It is somewhat discreet, though the back does say “The pleasurable way to tone your PC muscle” in very small print. Inside this box is the storage box of hard board which closes with a ribbon tie and is perfectly discreet. Unless they know what Je Joue is, no one will have a clue what’s in the box. Inside sit the three Ami balls in a molded plastic tray with signage designating Ami 1, Ami 2, and Ami 3. Underneath the tray, which easily lifts out, is the manufacturer’s guide to the Je Joue Ami in five languages. The guide is helpful because it not only gives you the balls’ specs, but also instructions on lubricant, cleaning, and how to do kegel exercises with the Ami.

Specs:
Ami 1: The Ami 1 is 1.41″ long without the cord, 1.25″ in diameter, and weighs 1.65 ounces.
It is a single, large round ball with an internal ball. This is your starting point.

Ami 2: The Ami 2 is 3.14″ long without the cord, 1.25″ in diameter, and weighs 2.75 ounces. It consists of two medium size balls with internal balls. The silicone between the two balls is quite squishy. When you want more of a challenge, move on to the Ami 2.

Ami 3: The Ami 3 is 2.75″ long without the cord, 1.10″ in diameter, and weighs 3.73 ounces. It is has two smaller balls with internal balls. This is the most challenging of the three Ami for advanced users.

I’ve read that some women find the comfort level of kegel balls changes throughout the month depending on their cycle. While that doesn’t seem to be the case for me, the Je Joue Ami balls would be a good choice for women with this issue. You’d have three options to choose from. I’ve also heard women with a tilted uterus find many kegel balls too long. I have a tilted uterus and do not have this experience with the any of the three Ami.

I find the Ami very interesting to wear. I followed Je Joue’s suggestion and started with the Ami 1. It felt strange at first, disconcerting and not quite right. I was constantly surprised when the internal ball moved around inside me and I felt slightly like I needed to pee in the beginning. I got acclimated and began to really enjoy it. I’m always happy to clench down on something.

The Ami 2 is probably as long as I can comfortably handle, what with my titled uterus and all, and all three Ami balls feel different inside me. I really feel the difference in their shapes, sizes, and weights. Each one provides a new sensation based on how the internal balls move around inside me.
 
 

 
I know some people find kegel balls a turn on. I really don’t but I am very well lubricated when I remove them so there is definitely something going on. I do enjoy the fullness and the feeling of those internal balls moving around inside me. While you can hear the movement a bit when the Je Joue Ami are outside the body, they are completely silent when inside. I notice a significantly empty feeling after removing the Je Joue Ami. I miss them when they’re not there!
