SPOTLIGHT on Evil Products from PicoBong

I tend to be a fan of LELO high quality toys and I have a handful of them. So, last year when LELO introduced their new brand geared toward young people, PicoBong, I was excited. Then I reviewed the PicoBong Kiki and was terribly disappointed. Earlier this year, PicoBong introduced some additional vibrators to their existing collection, and though I haven’t had a chance yet to review any of them, I have heard good things. Recently, PicoBong brought out another line of sex toys geared toward the BDSM market, or at least toward those who dabble.

There are five products in the PicoBong Evil BDSM line, which is available at EdenFantasys. All are colorful and cute and made from neoprene. The five products are all typically used in BDSM play, but these are lighter, fun versions of them. There are the Resist No Evil Cuffs, Take No Evil Whip,
Speak No Evil Choker, See No Evil Blindfold, and Fear No Evil Tickler. I like that none of these products except the Tickler are animal-based. I wear leather and I like the feel of a strong leather cuff around my wrist, but it’s always nice to have cruelty-free options.

Neoprene is a strong material and velcro is always nice because it’s easy to use. I have a few set of velcro cuffs that I like quite a bit. They’re not as fancy or as sturdy as cuffs that buckle but they do the job and are usually much more affordable. I do wonder if the Resist No Evil Cuffs, Speak No Evil Choker, and See No Evil Blindfold get hot. If you’ve ever worn a wetsuit you know that neoprene tends to hold in heat. When I wear neoprene directly against my skin it can make me sweat, which is unpleasant, especially during play time. I get sweaty enough as it is, I don’t need a material making me sweat even more, especially on my face and neck.

I expect that the Take No Evil Whip (which is really a flogger) is more about the soft sensation of the neoprene than the feel of the tails as I don’t think neoprene tails would be very harsh or have the ability to cause much pain, at least in this size and amount.

While serious participants in BDSM would likely shy away from these new PicoBong products, I think many beginners or those who like to fantasize or just play lightly will be attracted to these colorful items. If they like the PicoBong vibrators they might want to match them to their BDSM products. These new PicoBong toys come in pink, blue, and black. I prefer the blue but I like my toys to be colorful.

Head over to EdenFantasys and check out the Resist No Evil Cuffs<, Take No Evil Whip,
Speak No Evil Choker, See No Evil Blindfold, and Fear No Evil Tickler.

Black Foxtail Handcuffs Review

I have mentioned before that I like to dabble in BDSM and I enjoy being restrained. You can obviously use all sorts of things with which to restraint someone, rope, ties, clothesline, etc. I prefer a good set of cuffs. A while back I won these Black Foxtail Handcuffs from Babeland in a contest.

Black Foxtail Handcuffs

When I was younger I played with metal handcuffs, but not only can metal cuffs leave marks, they often hurt in use and can even cause damage to your wrists. I may enjoy being restrained but I have no desire to injure myself or have people see marks on my body. This is where soft cuffs come in and the Black Foxtail Handcuffs are a good choice in soft cuffs.

The Black Foxtail Handcuffs are not just cuffs, but handcuffs. This means there is a connector between the cuffs that holds them together. This connector is not removable so once these cuffs are on, your hands are stuck together. The connector is made of plastic and faux leather and feels very strong. I can struggle and wiggle around as much as I like and it doesn’t feel close to breaking at all. The Black Foxtail Handcuffs are well-made and feel very sturdy when in use.

Made of a polyester blend, the Black Foxtail Cuffs are not made with any animal products so they are vegan, which I like. They close with strong velcro straps and have black faux fur on the inside of the cuffs for comfort. This fur provides a nice cushion for the wrists and keeps them from chafing inside the Black Foxtail Handcuffs, which I really appreciate. I just wish the fur was a little softer. It’s not that it’s rough or anything, it just isn’t the softest faux fur in the world. If you have a tendency to get hot and sweaty you may find you sweat a bit in these cuffs. I do sweat easily and while I sometimes sweat in these, I don’t find it to be a huge problem.

Made to fit wrists from 7″ to 11″ in circumferences, the Black Foxtail Handcuffs will fit a wide variety of people, especially those with larger wrists so these are definitely a good choice for men as well as women. It can sometimes be a challenge to find cuffs that are on the bigger side so that’s an advantage to these handcuffs. My wrists are about 7″ in circumference so these fit me well, but if you have small wrists, the Black Foxtail Handcuffs may not be the best choice for you. You can still make them work but you might be more comfortable in something smaller.

I like the Black Foxtail Handcuffs. They are comfortable and feel solid when I have them on. I can struggle and squirm without worrying that I’ll break lose, yet they do come off easily and quickly when playtime is over or if I need a quick release for whatever reason. Sometimes I just don’t want to deal with keys and buckles, so velcro is a great option. It may not be the sexiest thing in the world but it is practical.

I understand the Black Foxtail Handcuffs may not look at cool as leather cuffs with their slim profile and silver buckles. However, leather can make you sweat, stain your skin, get stained by sweat, and can chafe. Buckles can take a while to undo and sometimes I don’t have the patience, really need to get out of a certain position, or just have to pee badly. I know some people like the idea of metal handcuffs or don’t realize there are other options out there. Aside from the damage metal can do to your wrists and the marks it can leave, keys can get lost, locks can jam. I imagine this could lead to some embarrassing situations. On the other hand, velcro is a great option. It is strong and sturdy and comes undone in a flash.

The Black Foxtail Handcuffs come in a simple box with a plastic front. The handcuffs are obviously visible through the plastic packaging so it isn’t discreet. It also isn’t very sturdy so I don’t recommend it for storage. I just store the Black Foxtail Handcuffs on their own in my toy box. They are very hardy so it’s not likely they would be damaged by storing them this way. It’s easy to clean the Black Foxtail Handcuffs. You can simply hand wash them in cold water and hang up to dry.

Black Foxtail Handcuffs Packaging

Black Foxtail Handcuffs Pros
• Comfortable
• Safe
• Sturdy
• Vegan
• Great price

Black Foxtail Handcuffs Cons
• Could be softer on the inside
• May not fit smaller wrists

The Black Foxtail Handcuffs are a good, solid pair of handcuffs. They are a great option for anyone who wants something vegan, comfortable, quick and easy, yet secure. I definitely recommend these over the typical thin police-style metal cuffs. The Black Foxtail Handcuffs would be great for beginners looking to explore bondage because they are non-threatening and the price is excellent. They are equally up to the task for serious players as well because they are so sturdy and well-made.

You can find the Black Foxtail Handcuffs at Babeland. If these are not to your liking, Babeland has a selection of other cuff options so you are sure to find something you like.

Bean Fiddler Rating:

Bean Fiddler’s Best of 2011

So I’ve been thinking it would be a good idea to look back over the last year and see what my favorite sex toys and sensual products were from 2011. Quite frankly, I am not always great at narrowing down lists of favorites because I tend to waffle back and forth so this has proven to be a challenge for me. I decided to go back and look at all the products that received a 5 Bean Rating from me and share my list with you. However, it turns out I reviewed a number of highly rated items in 2011 so I did have to narrow down the list somewhat to highlight my true favorites.

I have split the list between my top sex toys and my top sensual products to be more specific.

Top Five Sensual Products of 2011

Number five is Sweet Beauty’s Chocolate Body Cream from Babeland. This body cream is thick and creamy and has the most delicious chocolatey scent. It makes my skin feel soft and silky and smell heavenly. In fact, the danger of the Chocolate Body Cream is that it makes me crave chocolate. While body cream may not be the first thing you think of when discussing sensual products, I think anything that tantalizes multiple senses is a sensual treat.

In the number four spot is TRUST Natural Oil. TRUST is the most amazing massage oil I have run across in a long time. It is an organic, vegan, cruelty-free, food-grade oil that happens to be kosher as well. TRUST is made with Grape Seed, Avocado, and Apricot Kernel Oils and is light and silky on my skin. It is very moisturizing and adds both a high class feel and increased intimacy to any massage.

Number three is Intimate Organics Intense Clit Stimulating Gel. This Clit Gel makes my clit all cool and tingly in the most wonderful way. Another vegan, cruelty-free product, Intense Clit Stimulating Gel is glycerine and paraben-free and does not contain DEA or menthol. However, it does contain organic extracts which I think is a nice bonus. Most importantly, I love how it makes my clit feel and how it speeds up my orgasms.

The number two slot goes to the Beginner Bondage Kit from MyPleasure. The Beginner Bondage Kit comes with wrist and ankle cuffs, tethers, a blindfold, and a small flogger. Though I do not consider myself a beginner when it comes to bondage, I love the cuffs in this kit. They are not only an awesome color with a cute heart detail, they are strong, secure, and comfortable. The kit is totally worth it just for the cuffs and storage bag.

My number one sensual product of 2011 is the Liberator Wedge. The Liberator Wedge is an amazing piece of sex furniture that belongs in everyone’s collection. It brings comfort, communication, and creativity to the bedroom in a fun way. It provides a variety of positions and allows for better access for both partners. I still leave mine out on the bed and use it as a backrest as well. My Liberator Wedge is good for all sorts of things!

Top Five Sex Toys of 2011

In the number five spot is the Hitachi Magic Wand. I recently reviewed the Hitachi and fell in love with its deep vibrations and ability to multitask as a muscle massager, which is really its intended use. It doesn’t look like a sex toy which is a bonus if I want to leave it laying around.

Number four on my list of sex toys is the Octopussy also from Babeland. This dildo is shaped like tentacle and has the most amazing texture I have ever run across. It is a lovely light pink color and is made of glass. The Octopussy can be used vaginally or anally and the curved handle makes it very easy to use. The glass is great for sensation play but what truly stands out is the texture. I don’t have anything else quite like it and it’s just great.

My number three toy of 2011 is the G-Spot Lollipop J Pop. I discovered this little beauty when I attended ANE in July. Its rather unusual shape allows for great g-spot stimulation and it comes in all sorts of fun colors. The G-Spot Lollipop also comes in multiple styles and sizes, and though I haven’t tried any other style, I do love my G-Spot Lollipop J Pop.

Tied for the number two slot are two phenomenal butt plugs, the Crystal Delights Crystal Kiss and the nJoy Pure Plug. They are both so awesome, I can’t choose which one I like more. The Crystal Kiss is the most beautiful toy I own. It is just exquisite with its swirl of red and gorgeous swarovski crystal. The njoy Pure Plug is delightful in its heavy steel and can be worn for significant periods of time comfortably.

My number one top sex toy of 2011 is the famous Eroscillator. The Eroscillator is so unlike any of my other sex toys because it oscillates rather vibrates. It really is a must have for every sex toy aficionado. It is also an excellent choice for women who have only one clitoral vibrator and those who may have trouble reaching orgasm. It has multiple attachments which makes it very versatile and can be used solo or with a partner. I just adore the way it feels on my nipples and clit.

As I said, this has been quite a challenge for me. 2011 was a good year for sex toys and sensual products and I am lucky to have reviewed so many great things last year. I am sure I have left out some really nifty products but I had to narrow it down somehow. I am already looking forward to the awesome products I will review in 2012. A big thank you to everyone who has made it possible for me to review all these wonderful products. Hey, being a sex toy reviewer is a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it.

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Review

Posted by | BDSM,Nipple Toys,Reviews | December 14, 2011

I have never tried electrical play and I thought it might be interesting, so I wanted to give it try. Enter the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps from FunWares.

Shock-Therapy-Nipple-Clamps

As the name implies, Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are nipple clamps that deliver a mild electric shock to the wearer. Electric play is often used amongst practitioners of BDSM. Depending on the level of electric shock, this type of play can be anything from simple sensation play to extremely painful. I am not one for severe pain. A small amount of discomfort or pain can add to pleasure for me, especially in the heat of the moment, but serious pain is just not my cup of tea. However, I thought some mild shocks might add an interesting element to play.

Well, I was wrong. Yep, even on the mildest setting I found the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps too uncomfortable for me. They are quite comfy to wear but the little shocks were just too much for my body.

So this is how they work. There are two basic components to the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps, the control unit and the clamps themselves. The clamps have a long cord (almost 45″) which plugs directly into the control unit. The control unit has three switches, ON/OFF, SLOW/FAST, and IN/OUT. The ON/OFF switch is actually a dial that allows you to control the power level in small increments and the SLOW/FAST switch controls the speed of the shock pulses. The IN/OUT switch actually allows you to make the control unit the shocker. If you set it to IN, the metal oval in the center of the unit sends out the the electrical current to your hand. The directions state this is good for relaxing tired hands and those with arthritis or carpal tunnel. Not having either disorder, I cannot speak to that statement. I do find it effectively shocky though. Setting the button to OUT allows the current to pass through the Nipple Clamps.

To start using the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps you simply insert the included CR2032 battery, plug the Nipple Clamps into the the control unit, apply them to your or your partner’s nipples, select OUT, select FAST or SLOW, and turn on the control unit. It’s important to keep in mind that you will only feel the Nipple Clamps working when both are clamped on to your nipples. Applying just one will not do the trick.

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are made by Pipedream Products, which is a company located in Southern California that produces its products on China. The packaging is quite basic. The exterior package is a cardboard box with an image on the front of a naked male torso wearing the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps and images of the actual toy on the back. It is not at all discreet. It also says “FETISH” in giant red capital letters all over the box, as the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps are part of the Fetish Fantasy Series. If you don’t want people to know you are playing with these, don’t leave the box laying around.

Inside the box is a flimsy plastic tray and lid which contains the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps, control unit, wrist strap, battery, blindfold, and directions. The directions consist of one piece of paper and are quite good. They are in English only. The box is sturdy enough for storage but it’s quite a bit larger than the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps and control unit so it takes up a lot of space. The box is 6.5″ in length x 4.5″ in width x 2.25″ in depth.

As I mentioned, Pipedream has included a blindfold with the Shock Therapy Therapy Nipple Clamps. The blindfold is black and made of a plasticy material on the front and a satiny material on the inside. This is a very cheap and crappy blindfold. I will say it does a decent job at blocking out the light except for just around the nose area, like many blindfolds, but the materials are cheap. It’ll do in a pinch but if you are into sensation play and like to be blindfolded or to blindfold your partner, you very likely want to get something nicer and more luxurious. FunWares carries many blindfold options.

The Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps themselves are made of black plastic with little electrode cushions on the inside. They are soft and comfy and rest lightly on the nipples, with barely any pressure at all. The long almost 45″ cord, gives you or your partner a fair amount of room to move around during play and the nipple clamps are easy to clean, simply wipe down with a damp cloth.

The control unit is 3.25″ long, 1.5″ wide, and 1.5″ thick at its thickest point. It is very lightweight and easy to use. It can be held and manipulated without putting any strain on your wrist, so if you do have arthritis or carpal tunnel I would think the control unit would be comfortable. I do like that a wrist strap is included as well. It’s a thin nylon strap, like that for a small digital camera. It slips easily on and off my wrist with room to spare. Someone with a much larger wrist could certainly wear this wrist strap. My wrist is approximately 6.75″ in circumference, so that should give you an idea.

So how to describe the sensation of the shocks… First off, they are short pulses rather than one long shock. You know when you shuffle across the carpet, touch someone and you shock each other? Well, it’s a bit like that in the extreme. The sensation is sharp and burny. I find it very painful, though I am a bit of a wimp. I do like the bite of a stronger nipple clamp, but the sharp, burning pain of these electric shocks is very unpleasant for me.

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Pros:
• Do a great job shocking
• Compact control unit
• Comfortable Clamps
• Battery included

Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps Cons:
• Painful (in a bad way)
• Difficult to find battery (for replacement)

I really dislike these nipple clamps. While I love regular nipple clamps and can even enjoy some pain in the right moment, there was nothing at all about the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps I enjoyed. Nonetheless, I do have to say they work well and do what they are meant to do. The nipple clamps themselves are very comfortable to wear, even for beginners, because they don’t apply significant pressure to the nipples. This also means that I can’t use them as regular old nipple clamps because they don’t apply any pressure. However, just because I don’t like them doesn’t mean you won’t.

You can pick up the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps at FunWares, which has really great prices and ships quickly and discreetly. FunWares has a huge variety of here is that one nipple clamps so if electrical play doesn’t do it for you, you are sure to find something else you like. You might consider the One Touch Vibro Nipple Clamps. Check out my review here. To receive 10% off your entire order, use code: FIDDLER at checkout!

I am not sure how to rate the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps. They do a great job, based upon my limited experience in this area, but I really dislike them. Therefore, I am giving them a low rating. After all, it’s about my preferences, right? However, I do want to be clear that if you like this kind of stimulation or you want your partner (or they want you) to suffer pain and discomfort, you will probably really like the Shock Therapy Nipple Clamps.

Bean Fiddler Rating:

Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask Review

I love being blindfolded and I figure, why not look good while I can’t see? Enter the Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask from FunWares.

The Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask is a pretty little blindfold. It is made of black and red satin with delicate black hand-sewn lace and a black satin bow. The design actually looks a bit like a strapless bra to me. Rather than have an elastic band, like many blindfolds, the Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask has two black satin straps that tie behind the head. The ties are thin, only about 1/4″ wide. This makes them very lightweight and easy to tie, and they are quite long. At 20 1/2″ in length, when I’m sitting or standing, they hang down behind my head and tickle my shoulders. However, when lying down, I don’t notice them at all. Also, as they are so thin, I don’t feel the bow pressing against my head when I am laying on it.

The Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask is 8 1/2″ long and 3″ at its widest points, over the eyes. It is only 1 1/4″ wide over the bridge of the nose. Each eye pad has approximately 1/16″ of padding. I thought the hand-sewn lace might rub against my skin and feel itchy but it stands out away from my face and doesn’t touch my skin at all. The satin is sleek and smooth against my face and the EyeMask is very comfortable. It lays nicely on my eyes without putting any pressure on them like some blindfolds can do.

The very big downside to Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask is the cut. The thinness and angle around the nose does allow quite a lot of light in to seep in. Without glasses or contact lenses, I am totally blind so I really can’t see much but light around my nose. If I weren’t blind, I’d be able to see a whole lot and the light leaking in does spoil the effect somewhat. If I have my eyes open, even I can see My Man sneaking up on me which really defeats the purpose of wearing a blindfold.

The Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask is made in China by California Exotics. The packaging is not bad for Cal Exotics. However, as usual, it is not terribly discreet. The blindfold comes in a plastic bag inside a plastic envelope. I’d like the packaging to be more low key so I could just pass this off as a sleep mask, but the half-naked couple on the front make it look all about sex. You can certainly store the blindfold in the plastic envelope, but I am just using the plastic bag. It keeps the blindfold clean and safe without taking up much room.

If you get your Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask dirty or sweaty, I would simply hand wash it with soap and warm water, squeeze out the water, and allow it to hang dry. You could also probably throw it in the washing machine on gentle in a little lingerie bag and it would be protected as well. It seems a mite delicate for a full-fledged dryer cycle so I’d suggest hanging it to dry or leaving it in the dryer for just a few minutes on low heat.

Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask Pros:
• Pretty
• Comfortable
• Will fit most people

Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask Cons:
• Allows light in

The Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask is attractive and comfortable. It is easy to tie and the straps will allow it to fit most people, even if you have an a larger than average skull. It’s unusual and prettier than your average blindfold. It might be just the thing to frame your face as you are laying there tied up and helpless. However, if you want to be sure to block out all the light so you can’t see anything, this blindfold does not do the trick, at least not for me. So all in all, I have to say it’s cute but disappointing. For looks and comfort, I love the blindfold, but I have to downgrade it for not actually blinding me.

Check out the Tantric Satin Ties EyeMask and other handy dandy blindfolds at FunWares!
