If you read my reviews you know I tend to stick to water-based lubricants. They are a safer bet with silicone sex toys and so many of my toys are silicone. However, I did want to try a silicone-based lubricant so I decided to go with Pjur Original Bodyglide from FunWares.

Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant is a pure super concentrated silicone lubricant that contains only Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, and Dimethiconol. It is made in Germany and is oil-free, fat-free, water-free, and fragrance-free. It definitely has no scent and while I do not enjoy any lubricant in my mouth, I discern no taste either.

There are many advantages to using a silicone-based lubricant. Silicone-based lube can be used for purposes other than sexual lubrication. It can be used in place of massage oil and as a skin softener in place of lotion. Silicone-based lube is also great as a conditioner for latex so you can use it to shine up all your latex gear. While many people have allergies to some of the ingredients used in water-based lubricants, high-end silicone-based lubricants rarely cause allergic reactions. Silicone-based lubricants are water-proof so you can use them in water without fear they will easily wash away. These lubricants also have a much longer life than water-based lubricants, so a little goes a long way.

You probably know I generally recommend using water-based lubricant with silicone sex toys. This is because the silicone in both the lube and the toy can react with each other and cause the silicone of the toy to break down and become tacky. As I use water-based lube with my silicone toys, I have never had this happen but it certainly sounds unpleasant. Who wants to spend good money on a sex toy only to ruin it by using the wrong lubricant? However, I have been told that high-end silicone lubricants can be used with with high-end 100% silicone toys, such as LELO, Fun Factory, and Tantus. In fact, when I was at ANE last year I saw this demonstrated with Pjur Silicone Lubricant with no ill effects. Having said that, I still recommend you do a patch test if you are planning on using a silicone-based lubricant, even Pjur, with your favorite silicone sex toy. Of course, you can use Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant with other materials such as glass, metal, plastic, TPE, and TPR, to name a few, not to mention fingers and penises and other body parts.

The only other real downside for me to the Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant is that being silicone-based it is slightly more difficult to clean up than water-based lubes. If I have used only a small amount I can massage it into my skin and allow it to soak in, but when using a lot it requires more soap and water and some elbow grease to really get rid of it. I can’t necessarily just roll over and go to sleep after playing with Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant. I often need to make the effort to really clean up.

The packaging for this Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant is slightly special in that in comes in a drip free bottle. This allows me to squeeze out just a few drops where and when I want them. Some lube bottles are super sloppy and spill the lubricant all over the place. That’s bad enough when it’s water-based lubricant which is easy to clean up, but when it’s super slick silicone-based lube it’s a huge pain. This drip free bottle works like a charm. I just love it. I also find the bottle to be very discreet. On the front it says, “Pjur Original super concentrated BODYGLIDE”. Nothing about lubricant or sex, no naked images. I don’t think it’s obvious that Pjur is a sexual lubricant. You can certainly pass it off as a skin moisturizer or massage lotion to those who don’t know better. There is helpful information in five languages on the back of the tube in very small printing.

I really like Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant. As a moisturizer it soaks into my skin nicely and leaves it feeling soft and silky. As a lubricant, I only need a small amount for use during play and it really does last quite a long time. I also find that Pjur Original Bodyglide Lubricant is great for anal play and anal sex. It is softer and more slippery than water-based lube and lasts longer so there’s no need for reapplication. I just have to make sure not to use too much because there is such a thing as too slippery, especially when it comes to butt plugs.

I think she’s very cute and I appreciate that she hasn’t gotten implants even though she isn’t chesty. She is also rather dirty. The Jenna Haze Swallow Fleshlight is molded directly off of Jenna Haze’s mouth so it looks just like the real thing. Inside of this Fleshlight you’ll find the “Swallow” texture. The Swallow texture was designed to mimic the sensations of oral sex. This is what it looks like on the inside.

From looking at the picture you can see that once you slip yourself in past the lips you will enter a moderately tight canal that lasts about an inch. You then encounter a row of little nubs which I believe are supposed to represent teeth. You then enter the main chamber of this Fleshlight which is an approximately three inch long ribbed chamber. From there the Fleshlight leads into a very tight smooth canal which is supposed to represent the throat.

The Fleshlight comes in a metal cylinder that isn’t at all discreet. It says Fleshlight Girls right on the side of it and on the back side there is a picture of Jenna and the toy. While the picture isn’t explicit I don’t think many people will have any doubts as to what is contained within. That said, the packaging is nice. It looks classy, it’s very sturdy and doubles as a nice storage place for the toy (although the case of the toy itself works pretty well for storage). This was my first Fleshlight and I must say, I was rather surprised by the size of it. I have known about them for years but this was the first time I had seen one in person. The Fleshlight is approximately 10 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter. It’s not too big to be ungainly but it was still a bit of a surprise to me. The good thing about the size is that it should accommodate men of all lengths.

There are two parts to the Fleshlight. The hard outer plastic case and the soft and squishy insert. The Fleshlight Girls come in a special color case that is pearlescent white, which looks pretty cool. The case has two screw on caps, one on each end. On the large end the cap covers the orifice where you insert your penis. The cap on the bottom is used to regulate the amount of suction that the toy produces while you use it. I will speak more on that later. The soft insert part of the toy is made from a secret material that is exclusive to Fleshlight. They call this material Real Feel Superskin and I must say, it’s pretty impressive. It’s quite durable, extremely stretchy, very good at retaining heat, lubes well, feels very realistic, is easy to clean, and to top it off it’s also phthalate and latex free. One last thing about this material, you should only use water-based lubricants. Oil or silicone-based lubricants can deteriorate the Superskin material.

So how does the Jenna Haze Swallow Fleshlight feel? In a word, great! I am very impressed with this toy. While I don’t have a huge collection of toys like Bean does, this is hands down my favorite. When I first saw the toys that had the mouth molded on to them I thought they looked rather silly. However, when actually using this and looking down and seeing myself slip in and out of the lips, I must admit, it’s pretty hot. From reading tips on how to properly use a Fleshlight I did warm it up first. I just filled the sink with hot water and let the Fleshlight sit in the water for ten minutes or so. Doing this helps tremendously. I did try it once without heating it up first and the experience isn’t nearly as good. There is one other thing that I should mention. I stated earlier that the Fleshlight has two screw-on caps, one on each end. The cap on the bottom of the device can be tightened or loosened and by doing so it will effect the amount of suction that you feel as you use the toy. The tighter the cap the more suction it creates and adversely, the looser the cap the less suction. I have personally found that I like the cap on fairly tight but not all the way. I am sure a lot of people are wondering how well does it simulate getting a blow job? You’re never going to think you’re getting the real thing but there are some similarities to the experience. One very nice thing about getting oral from a toy, you can be as rough as you want, you’ll get deep throat and you can cum in it’s mouth. That said, I’ll take the real thing over this any day.

I have two gripes with this Fleshlight. My first complaint is that unless you have a larger than average penis, you’re never going to hit the tight canal at the end of the toy. The tight canal doesn’t start till you’re at least six inches into the Fleshlight. This isn’t really a big deal though as the textured bits that come before the tight canal are the real fun parts. My second complaint is prep time. While you can just pick up the toy and use it, the experience is vastly improved if you take the time warm it up in some water first.

Fleshlight Fleshwash Review

For cleaning the Fleshlight they recommend that you don’t use soap or detergents as this can degrade the Superskin material. They recommend that you just use water and if you need a deep cleaning use a touch of isopropyl alcohol. I have found that running hot water through the Fleshlight has been more than sufficient to clean the it. I have used the Fleshlight Fleshwash though. To use it you first give your Fleshlight a thorough rinse with water and then spray the Fleshwash liberally on the inside and outside of the insert. It comes in a 4oz spray bottle and it’s odor free, doesn’t seem to leave any residue and I guess it cleans. I just have a hard time justifying the use of it as I have found that water has been more than sufficient to clean my Fleshlight. Maybe I just haven’t had it long enough or maybe it’s because I tend to clean up directly after use and not let my deposits sit in it, but to me this just doesn’t seem necessary.

Fleshight Renewing Powder Review

Over time your Fleshlight can get a bit tacky and a bit harder. I have found that after 3-4 uses it starts to get overly tacky and this is when the Fleshlight Renewing Powder comes in. By applying this powder liberally to a clean and dry Fleshlight it really does a great job of returning the Superskin material to its soft goodness. That said, I can’t recommend this product. The ingredients of this renewing powder are 100% cornstarch. The cost of Fleshlight Renewing powder is around $7.50 for 4oz. I did a quick search on Amazon and found a 35oz container of 100% cornstarch for a little over $9. So, while the renewing powder works great, save yourself a bundle of money and just buy cornstarch at the grocery store.

For a while now I’ve been hearing all about dual density silicone and I have been very curious. So when the opportunity to review the Tantus Cush from Babeland came up, I jumped at it.

Amongst my dildos, the Tantus Cush is fast becoming a favorite. It is one of Tantus’ O2 dildos, which means it is dual density. There is a soft, squishy, plush layer of silicone over a firm inner core, giving the Cush a very different feel from other dildos. This top layer, which is a milky white, is extremely giving and squashable. The inner purple core is very firm Tantus silicone. It really does make the Cush feel unusual. It is giving to a point and then it just stops. This is meant to make it feel more like a real, live penis. The color is also quite fun with the dark purple silicone showing through the milky outer layer.

The Tantus Cush is 7″ long with a diameter of 1.75″. It has a pronounced coronal ridge and a significant ridge about midway down on the shaft. The head is slightly pointy but mostly made of the soft, squishy silicone so it’s not at all sharp. I just love how the soft silicone squashes in my hand. It’s like one of those squishy stress dolls. It’s just fun. The Tantus Cush has a thick and solid base making it perfect to use with a harness. This base also makes anal play possible as it will keep the dildo from slipping too far into the anus. Always be sure to sterilize the Cush when switching from anal to vaginal play.

The Tantus Cush comes in the typical Tantus packaging, a clear lightweight plastic box. You can easily see the dildo inside the box so it’s really not good for hiding it away. It isn’t the most sturdy box in the world and it does take up quite a bit more room than a storage bag or plastic baggie so it’s not the greatest box for storage, but it also isn’t the worst. Inside the box the Cush Dildo sits in a plastic clamshell. The clamshell in my box is obviously for a smaller dildo and also has a little place for a bullet vibrator. This is apparently a standard clamshell used for other Tantus products as well. I am not a huge fan of Tantus packaging, but I am a big fan of their sex toys, which is what’s important.

While this is an O2 dual density dildo, the Tantus Cush is still made of Tantus Ultra-Premium Platinum silicone. This high quality silicone is latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. The Tantus Cush is completely odorless and tasteless and can be easily cared for and cleaned. Like other silicone products you can wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap, your favorite sex toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. As the Cush has no moving parts, you can also boil it for three to five minutes and wash it in the top drawer of your dishwasher (without soap). This makes the Cush very versatile and easy to use between partners, as well as both vaginally and anally.

I use water-based lubricant with the Tantus Cush as it is 100% silicone and therefore can react with the silicone-based lube. However, you can always do a patch test at the base of the dildo to determine if your silicone-based lubricant is compatible. If the Cush gets sticky or tacky, wash the lube off right away and stick with water-based. I find less drag with this dual density silicone than with traditional Tantus silicone, but I do still require lubrication. It just makes the Cush all slippery and slidey which generally feels better.

I love how this dildo feels inside me. As I slowly thrust, I can feel the girth of the Tantus Cush gently spreading me and I really like this feeling. I feel the give of the top layer of squashy silicone and the firmness of the core beneath it. To me, sex toys always feel significantly different than a live penis but there is something more similar about the Tantus Cush. It doesn’t feel the same but it is definitely closer. I like to use the Tantus Cush inside me with a vibe on my clit, like the We-Vibe Touch, which is one of my favorite clit vibes. The fullness of the dildo inside me is a wonderful added sensation to the clit stimulation.

I know the coronal ridge on this dildo is designed for g-spot stimulation and I get quite a good amount considering the Tantus Cush is not a curved sex toy. However, I don’t get the same kind of stimulation I do from other toys that are curved. The mild g-spot stimulation I get when using the Tantus Cush is an added bonus but it’s not the primary sensation. Nonetheless, it does add to the overall greatness of this dildo. The squashy firmness, the fullness, and the g-spot stimulation all together create a variety of sensations that I really enjoy.

Overall, the Tantus Cush is just a great dildo for me. I love the dual density silicone. The soft giving layer over the firm core feels wonderful and is quite different from my other dildos. I really am looking forward to trying more dildos like the Cush. Due to the girth of this dildo, the Tantus Cush is not for beginners and may require some warm up with a smaller dildo or vibrator. Even more advanced users may require some warm up if you are not accustomed to thicker sex toys. I do not need to warm up with something else first, I can go straight to the Cush as I do not find it too large and I enjoy the stretching feeling.

Pick up your own Tantus Cush at Babeland. If the you like the sound of the Cush but aren’t into the purple color and want something more realistic, try the Tantus Luke or the Tantus Adam. Both are from the Tantus O2 line with the amazing dual density silicone but are less fantastical in looks.

Remember the Spotlight I did on the new Leaf Vibrators a little while ago? Well, I have been lucky enough to get my hands on one of these brand new vibrators, Fresh. Am I a lucky girl or what?

For a sex toy reviewer like me, it is always exciting when new toys hit the market but it is especially exciting when I am one of the first people who has the opportunity to try out a product. When Leaf contacted me to review one of their new vibrators, I jumped at the chance.

leaf by Swan is a new line of six vibrators made of green silicone in unusual shapes. These cool and funky vibrators are designed by BMS in Canada and made in China. They are made of ABS and silicone which makes them hard with a lovely soft finish.

As with all of the Leaf by Swan vibrators, Fresh is rechargeable and waterproof and comes with a one year warranty. I love a company that stands behind its products. Fresh is easy to operate as it has only one button located on the side of one of the heart bumps. To turn Fresh on and off, simply press down on the button. To increase the vibration strength you press and hold the button down. The vibration will then increase gradually until you release the button at your desired level. This threw me at first as I am accustomed more to vibrators that have discrete levels and require me to push the button each time to reach those levels. I quickly got used to it though and I really like the easy use of this one button.

The Fresh Vibrator also has a very cool locking mechanism. Quickly press the button three times to lock the Fresh. This will keep it from turning on accidentally while in storage or during travel. It is quite smart because the vibrator does turn on easily at the click of the button. To unlock, simply press the button quickly three times again and ta-da! It is unlocked.

When you first receive your Fresh Vibrator you want to charge it for at least three hours prior to using it for the first time. After that, charging time will vary depending upon how much battery power is left when you go to charge it. The manual tells me I should get one hour and 15 minutes of power off of a two hour charge. Of course this will vary based on the strength of the vibration you use during play. So far this seems to be accurate for me.

Charging is easy as the power button lights up red during charging and turns off when your Fresh Vibrator is completely charged. The button also lights up white when you first turn on the Fresh Vibrator. It blinks as you ramp up the vibration strength and stops blinking when you hit the highest level. Though Fresh is quite a small vibrator I find the vibrations to be deep and rumbly which I really like. They are also sufficiently strong for me. I do sometimes use Fresh on its highest level but not always. I can get off with it on lower levels of vibration, which really says a lot.

Speaking of size, the Fresh Vibrator measures almost 3″ in length, is almost 2.5″ wide and is maybe 1″ thick. It is a teeny vibrator. I was surprised by how small it was when I opened the box. However, I do love its size. It fits perfectly in my hand and is neither too large nor too small.

The Fresh Vibrator looks somewhat like a misshapen heart which I thought might be weird until I used it the first time. As I mentioned above, the core is ABS so it is completely hard but it has a silicone covering on top of the plastic which is soft and silky. The green silicone is great because unlike other types of silicone it is not a lint magnet. There is a small seam all along the exterior of the Fresh Vibrator and though I can feel it slightly with my fingers if I try, I don’t feel the seam when I’m using the vibrator.

The insert for the power cord is placed at the top of the heart in indentation. It is a very small hole that closes up when the power cord is not plugged in, thus making the the Fresh waterproof. One thing that’s unusual is the information provided on the actual vibrator. As you can see in the images, it says “power bullet” and “leaf” as well as a few other things in the actual silicone. The text is raised and can be felt with a finger but does not distract during use. According to the instruction manual, this text is required by international law.

I have mentioned the Fresh Vibrator is covered in 100% silicone and I always recommend using water-based lubricant with silicone sex toys. In fact, the instruction manual vehemently states the silicone finish will be damaged if used with silicone-based lubes. You all know how much I love silicone as it latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, non-porous, and body-safe. It is easy to clean and can even be sterilized with the use of a 10% bleach solution. Be sure to wash your Fresh Vibrator with warm water and antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner before and after each use. Do not boil Fresh or put it in the dishwasher as this could ruin the electronic workings inside the vibrator.

I really love the shape of the Fresh Vibrator. The pointy part of the heart slips perfectly between my labia and under my clit hood to reach my clit. It delivers perfect pinpoint stimulation and sits so well in my hand. However, if you don’t like pointy stimulation like I do you can flip the Fresh around and use the top of the heart against your clit. This will give you a more broad stimulation. In fact, as the vibrations can be felt throughout the entire vibrator, you can use any part against your body which makes the Fresh quite versatile. It works great against my nipples as well.

The Fresh Vibrator comes in some rather unique packaging. The box is made from hard brown cardboard and has a magnetic closure. It looks like the recycled material but it doesn’t say anywhere on it that it is recycled so I would guess it is not. Inside the box is a sleeve that holds the very complete user manual which discusses Fresh in seven languages. This sleeve has a velcro closure. Underneath the sleeve is the Fresh Vibrator itself, the charger, and storage bag. The storage bag is also unusual in that it is made of canvas which is different from the typical satin storage bags that usually come with my vibrators. The drawstring bag has the leaf by Swan logo on it and is large enough to hold the Fresh and charger if you want, though the box is certainly sturdy enough to be used for storage as well.

The Leaf Fresh Vibrator is a great little clit stimulator. I love the shape and the simplicity of this vibrator. I do notice there are no patterns, which I tend to expect in a clit stimulator but I enjoy the vibrations of the Fresh so much, I really don’t miss them. If I want patterns, I just reach for another vibrator. It is difficult to find a pointy vibrator which I really tend to prefer, so the shape of the Fresh works so well for me. The strong, rumbly vibrations are a pleasure to use and you all know I love a good storage bag. Overall, I am so very pleased with the Leaf Fresh.

Like shiny new sex toys? I do! A few weeks ago I reviewed the new Metal Worx Magnetic Nipple Clamps and today I have the pleasure of reviewing another product from the new Metal Worx line, the Slim Fave Dildo from FunWares.

As I mentioned previously, Metal Worx is a new line of metal sex toys put out by Pipedream Products. The Slim Fave Dildo is part of this new line. It is made of high quality nickel-free stainless steel. Stainless steel is non-porous, latex and phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. This means you can easily clean and sterilize it to share between non-fluid bonded partners. To sterilize your Metal Worx Slim Fave Dildo, wash or spray it with a 10% bleach solution (nine parts water, one part bleach). To wash it you can simply use warm water and antibacterial soap or your favorite sex toy cleaner. You can also stick it in the dishwasher. As with glass sex toys, you can use any type of lubricant with stainless steel. So feel free to use those silicone-based lubes you can’t use with your silicone dildos. The stainless steel is so smooth and slick I need very little lube, if any, with the Metal Worx Slim Fave Dildo, but slick it up as much as you like.

The Metal Worx Slim Fave Dildo is 9.5″ long and measures 1.25″ in diameter at the larger end, 1.5″ in the middle, and .05″ at the smaller end. It weighs almost 1.75 pounds, which makes it my heaviest dildo by far. The weight feels good in my hand but can make my wrist tired if I’m thrusting too long. I guess I’m more out of shape than I realized!

The shape of the Slim Fave Dildo is interesting. The head of the larger end of the dildo has a rather flat surface that feels great sliding against my clit. Either end is good for gripping, though I prefer to grip the end with the graduated balls, or the middle. If you do use too much lube, the Metal Worx Slim Fave Dildo can get a tad slippery so remember, less is more in this case.
