LELO does it again! It seems no matter what they touch, they can do no wrong (except in the size of the packaging). The Lelo Sensua Suede Whip from Babeland is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Mine is oh so fiery red and I love it!

Every time I pull out my gorgeous LELO Sensua Suede Whip I have to laugh at the box. I can’t believe how tiny it is. Sure, I knew the dimensions before it arrived. I was already referring to it as my “mini-baby-flogger”. So yes, it’s small but did LELO have to put it in the teeniest box possible? I swear the box is so small the Sensua Whip magically shrinks each time I put it back in its box. No joke! I have to fold the gorgeous red suede tassels over and sort of squinch them around to fit the handle in on top of them diagonally. While I love the pretty rice paper and the typically elegant black LELO box, I die a little inside each time I torture my baby-mini-flogger this way. It’s very economical and good for the environment to use less packaging material, but please why LELO, why? I think my Sensua is getting a cramp!

Let me back up. The LELO Sensua Whip comes in a glossy black box with LELO printed on it in silver and a pretty picture of the Sensua itself. It looks similar to the box my checks come in, though much nicer. It’s not quite 6 ½” long, a tad over 3 ½” deep, and just under 1 ½” high. See? I was so not joking about the size! There is a brief description, the only one that comes with the Sensua, on the back in five different languages. The internal box in the usual hard textured black cardboard with “LELO” in shiny black. It is the master of discretion. The only downside is that it’s so elegant it begs to be opened. You open the box to the pretty rice paper folder over the whip. Unfold it and ta-da! May I introduce you to your gorgeous new LELO Sensua Suede Whip. You, Sensua Whip. Sensua Whip, your new owner.

From the sensual feel of the suede sliding across my skin to the sting to the thuddiness of this mini flogger, the Sensua Whip is a delight for all the senses. My eyes are entranced by the gorgeous color. My skin loves the thud of the flogger hitting it. My nose is titillated by the deep smell of the suede. My ears almost mock my skin at the sound of the whip. Ok, ok, I didn’t taste it! Four out of five is pretty good!

The Lelo Sensua Suede Whip is 14” long by 7/8” in diameter. The handle is approximately 5 ¾” with the 8 ¼” of the soft, suede strands. The handle is made of metal and acrylic with word LELO stamped into it. The whipping strands are beautiful deep red suede. A tiny warning…the 36 (oh yes, I counted) luscious strands do shed a bit. The Sensua Whip is also available in black and purple.

The LELO Sensua Whip does not come with any directions for care so I did a little research on how to care for your suede flogger. It is a flogger, you know. I’m not sure why they call it a whip.

Always keep your Sensua Suede Whip clean. Air dry the Sensua Whip after use because it may have picked up some moisture from your/your partner’s skin. If
you happen to get your flogger very…ahem…wet, hang it in a dry, well-ventilated area for one week. You may use a suede brush or suede stone to remove dirt and renew the nap of the suede. Using Scotch Guard, Cleaners, or Conditioners on your Sensua is a big no-no.

Once it’s dry, you can carefully store your Sensua Whip in its lovely LELO box or hang in a dry, ventilated area. Keep it out of plastic bags or containers and avoid tight, hot (that sounds dirty) places. Don’t just throw it in your toy chest or toy bag. It’s far too special to be ruined that way. Be sure to store your LELO Sensua Suede Whip away from direct contact with heat sources, such as heating vents or units, and direct sunlight, which will cause it to fade and crack. Cracking would be a shame but fading that glorious color would be a crime! It is normal for suede to stretch over time. If the strands become uneven you can carefully trim them with a very sharp scissors.

The LELO Sensua Suede Whip feels good in my hand, not that I really get to use it on anyone. The metal and acrylic handle feels solid and well put together. The suede strands add a nice weight. The Sensua is a well-balanced mini baby flogger!

My Man is the one who gets to use the LELO Sensua Whip on me, though he did try it on his leg so he could feel the effects. He was impressed with the level of sting he can produce. The Sensua Whip has a lovely thud and a delightful sting to when wielded well. I am quite surprised at the effectiveness of the Sensua. As a mini baby flogger, I wasn’t expecting much in the way of pain. However, my Man gets it going in a circular rhythm causing the tips of the strands to hit the same place over and over and I’m squirming in no time! The Sensua is not going to leave cuts or welts, but it reddens me up quite well and my Man loves using it on me. I thought he might find the Sensua Whip too small for his large hands but he really likes the weight and balance of the gorgeous acrylic handle. He’s also said it’s the most luxurious of all our floggers. He’s as impressed as I am with the lushness of the suede. We both agree the LELO Sensua Whip is a must have in our flogging collection!

The LELO Sensua Suede Whip is great for sensation play. The softness of the suede, the thuddiness of the strands on my skin, and the sting of the strand tips all make for wonderful sensations along my body. Whether my Man is flogging me or running the strands softly over my red and sensitized skin, the Sensua Whip feels amazing.
