You all know I’m a huge fan of anal play, and I have fallen in love with my newest anal acquisition, the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug from Babeland.

It is hypoallergenic, phthalate-free, latex-free, non-porous, odorless, and tasteless. You can sterilize these silicone sex toys by boiling them, cleaning them with a 10% bleach solution, and washing them in the top rack of your dishwasher (without soap). Please do this when sharing with others! As silicone is non-porous and does not hang onto any nasty bacteria, you can also clean Tantus sex toys with soap and water and sex toy cleaner spray or wipes. Not only are Tantus sex toys good for your body, if you care for them properly, they can last you a lifetime. Can’t get much better than that!

Remember to use water-based lube with your silicone sex toys, as silicone is not compatible with itself. Silicone-based lube can break down silicone sex toys over time and turn them into mush. The packaging is the typical Tantus clear plastic box with a clear plastic clamshell inside, which I happen to like. While the box is a good place to store your Ryder Butt Plug if you have the room, you can see it is not discreet. You may want to put the box away if you have guests coming over.

The Ryder Butt Plug’s plastic box is sealed so well I had trouble getting into it! So be aware…it’s practically idiot proof.

My Ryder Butt Plug is Midnight Purple and the color is gorgeous. I really wanted to capture the color in my photographs but it was impossible. It’s this beautiful sparkly metallic deep purple swirled with black. Tantus silicone has no scent, which is always important to me, and the Ryder Butt Plug has no taste. Yes, girls, I tasted it. Sticking everything in my mouth as usual.

The Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is an amazing piece of silicone. When I removed it from its box, the first thing I did was gently rub it all over my face and neck. I love the soft feel of silicone! It feels almost as good as my man’s hand rubbing against me. Ok, nothing feels even close to as good as my man’s hand touching me, but the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug does feel nice.

It is soft and a bit squishy. It’s as fun for me to play with outside my body as inside my body…well, almost. Silicone can be a dust magnet, and the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is no exception. Upon taking it out of it’s packaging, every dust mote and cat hair in my apartment attacked my new Tantus Ryder. I think dust was visiting from me neighbor’s apartment at well! Wiping it down with a no-lint, microfiber cloth or running it under water before use is a big help.

With its smooth, seamless design, the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is a delight to slip into my body. I shivered as I felt the Tantus Ryder’s soft, rounded tip sliding into me. Just writing about it makes me want to grab it and put it inside me right now! Its round tip is perfect for an easy, smooth entry. There is some drag with the Ryder Butt Plug so be sure to use plenty of lubricant. I use a serious dollop, more than what I normally use with my glass plugs, to get it nice and slippery. That’s some tender skin down there!

The Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is 4 ½” long, with 3 ¾” being insertable, and 1 ½” in diameter. The Tantus Ryder’s torpedo shape and long neck are designed to keep it exactly where I want it for however long it there, regardless of what I’m doing. I love this aspect. I have other butt plugs that start to slip out or even pop out completely during sex or other vigorous activity. That just stops me dead in my tracks and certainly puts a damper on the moment.

For me, the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is on the smaller side. It’s never overwhelming or too much. Tantus uses a solid silicone, which makes the Ryder Butt Plug somewhat firmer than other silicone sex toys. It gives just enough to be comfy while still allowing me to clamp down and feel the resistance. I consider myself an intermediate level anal player and I have experience with butt plugs. I consider the Tantus Ryder Butt Plug a beginning-intermediate butt plug. It’s not small enough to be your very first butt plug, but I also don’t think it’ll take long to work up to if you practice.

My man likes to have me do many different things while wearing butt plugs, such as my daily swim. The Tantus Ryder Butt Plug is perfect for this. It’s light enough in weight for me to feel comfortable swimming, and sits inside me so perfectly no one can see the base through my bathing suit.
